Mel's Diner - Pigeon Forge - Photo album

Step back in time for this classic diner with booth seats, a jukebox and fun atmosphere. Stopped by for a quick bite and wasn't disappointed. Ordered Cheeseburgers and fries which were delicious and had option of choosing 3 different types of cheese to go on burger. Service was quick and server frie
Went in this morning for breakfast at Mel's Diner. Our server Kimberly C. was awesome. Very attentive and really friendly. I got the special two eggs, two pancakes and two meat for $8.99. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. The bacon was good and the eggs were good. It was good for the price. My gir
What a fun experience! The nostalgic atmosphere alone is enough to put a smile on your face. We arrived and were told that will be a 30 minute wait we were given a beeper and we sat in our car and waited and within 15 minutes we were called in. You could hear the music outside, as well as inside. Th
This place was a great experience! Love the music, the atmosphere is very retro. The food was good! I got the catfish and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. My wife got the hotdog and it was okay. Too sweet for me and her. Check this place out!
1st time dining and will definitely repeat. Their staff was super and friendly and our server was very attentive. Pot roast portion was plenty and their kid's meals were just right. Banana Split was enough for 5 people.
Unlike a modern restaurant that has been styled to have a sterile 50's diner theme, Mel's Diner actually feels like an authentic old diner that has been well maintained and survived into modern times despite only being around since the early 90's.  We arrived at 1pm on a Friday at the end of a lunch
First time visiting Mel's Diner, and we will definitely be back! The atmosphere, cleanliness,as well as our waitress Danielle were AMAZING. But the real MVP this morning was the cook, as the food here is so good!!!
Went here with family and enjoyed the food and ambiance. Felt like a 50's diner. Milkshakes were great. They hit the right spot with Great flavors and food choices reminded me diner options. Have wanted to come here for a good while. Definitely recommend this place. Family Friendly and plenty of
Looked into good places to eat while I'm the Gatlinburg for vacation and in speaking to the locals this place was suggested a lot. Classic diner food, with breakfast served all day. We had the patty melt with onion rings along with loaded fries and chocolate malt. Amazing!! The staff was great and e
We stopped in for a later lunch. We got seated, and the restaurant was pretty full. We ordered and quickly got our food. The waitress was absolutely wonderful and very attentive to us. She stopped by several times asking if everything was good and if we needed refills. All the food was hot and tas
Breakfast, this is the place! Classic diner, great staff, great portions and a good price! Be sure to read the various signs scattered about as well and get a chuckle. The cinnamon bun was a special that morning so we ordered one. Oh! It was huge! And oh so good! This is where you will want to start
Went here late one evening the last week in November and really enjoyed this quaint little dinner. So glad we found this little gem. The atmosphere was retro old school! The menu had a wide variety of options which was great as they had something for everyone! The burgers were exceptional. Staff wer
Great diner food in a retro 50s themed look. On sale are tees of classic cars and trucks that make great gifts. All meals are served all day long. Came here for breakfast and were seated and serviced right away. New on the menu is a cinnamon roll which my family shared. It was delicious. I had the
We got the Patty Melt and the BLT and also the Catfish (not pictured) and they were so delicious!! Cassie was awesome. The service was fast. Can’t brag on this place enough!
Staff were super friendly and very quick service. Everyone in my family loved their food. Highly recommend for a quick good price meal!
We had the best experience for our first time. Service was great. The food was on point and decently priced. It didn’t cost an arm and a leg for our family of 3 to eat here. Highly recommend the catfish. It didn’t disappoint.
Nice place to get a unique experience. These tourists towns are all about getting that big bill . But Mel’s seems to be a somewhat more reasonable. We had four in our party and got out for less than a hundred. That’s a good visit.
