A totally crowded place as we had to wait for long to get a table. But it was worth the wait. Fast and quick service! The food was yum the chips and salsa a start to our lunch was too fulfilling. The soft tacos with beans were melting in the mouth . The fried ice-cream was a good end to a satisfying meal đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

We had a wonderful experience at No Way Jose's on 11/1/23! Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive to our needs. The food was hit and delicious. We had the shrimp and chicken fajitas (no green peppers) and they came with all the normal fixing of tortillas, rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, pico, and sour cream. The chips and salsa never disappoint! We actually plan to stop on our way home and eat lunch, taking chips and salsa to go...watching College football later!! Thanks No Way Jose's for the great food and wonderful experience!

We had a quick drink and a snack after getting to town much earlier than expected. The 18K Margarita was a good portion size and pretty sweet and tasty. Our bartender Frank was really nice and was super attentive. Would absolutely recommend and come back again!

An excellent meal! Service was fantastic. Our waiter, Robert, was attentive, fast, patient and very helpful. One of the best Queso offerings I've ever had and the portion was generous. Only critique is that the kids drinks aren't included in the price of the kids meal. That's atypical of most restaurants in my previous experience.

Very delicious food this is my new spot when I come to Gatlinburg.

The salsa and chips are to die for. If you are a fan of the appetizer portion of Mexican food , I would highly recommend.
We waited for over 14 minutes for anyone to sit us. We arrived around 4:45 pm. There servers were in the dining room beside the entrance but no one ever made eye contact. Once we were seated the service was good, not great.
I ordered GF chicken fajitas. They were good but they came out 7 minutes after everyone else's food and they were not even sizzling. At that point I figured it wasn't worth it to send back because my family was done with their food.
If they could work on service, the food and atmosphere is definitely a must.

We had a long and fun day, so we're looking for some out of the norm food. What an excellent choice. Food was fresh, had great flavor, and was well priced. The server we had, Erika, was wonderful. All in all tasty and great experience.

Do not skip this place!! Fajitas for 2, only $24.99!! The plate came and not only were they sizzling hot, but it the steak was piled high and tender! This was our plate after 3 fajitas were already eaten!

Had a great lunch here. Our food was served quickly, and our server Angel was great. It is a fun atmosphere. We enjoyed our meals, and the salsa was delicious! Prices were great too.

I have not been in this restaurant for years, so I was excited to return. I was not disappointed. Food was absolutely delicious and our server was helpful and kind and very friendly. We were very pleased.
UPDATE: We were back today because we like the food so much and it was better than ever. Hot and delicious. Not crowded when they first open. Waiter was so nice and helpful.

Large party of 7, but they wouldn’t seat us until everyone was there even though plenty of empty seats. Waiter was good, always on top of drink refills and brought extra napkins without us having to ask. Food was average Mexican food.

Honestly the only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because it was very decently priced and the service was also pretty good. The food however, being somewhere with a heavy Mexican influence was definitely sub par at best. The tortillas were bland, so were the refried beans. The carnitas were even worse. The rice wasn't bad though and the queso dip was awesome despite the chips being a little overcooked. It's really a shame La Carreta shut down because that was a much better, more authentic Mexican joint in the Seveirville/Pigeon Forge area.

Yummy. This was delicious. The enchiladas, the rice, beans, margarita: all were great. Fast service. I enjoy this place a lot.

Wonderful!. I honestly don't know what these other reviews are talking about. This place is delicious. Must not be ordering the right thing...<br/><br/>The salsa is yummy! It's definitely made fresh. Sorry if it doesn't live up to other's "from-a-jar" expectations.<br/><br/>The chicken flautas are to die for! It's a huge portion of food and it tastes great. My husband and I travel to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area about once a year for a long weekend, and we always make a stop at No Way Jose's. We have never been disappointed.<br/><br/>Highly recommend!

The food is either over cooked or under cooked. The customer is NEVER right at this establishment. Management is rude and ill mannered. I had under cooked meat in my plate and management was unsympathetic and seemed bothered she had to come to our table.

It was alright. Nothing special, really. The waitress was friendly, but not exactly the best at keeping drinks or chips full. The food was pretty decent - definitely Americanized, and not in a Tex-Mex way. I won't say it's bad, but it wasn't awesome.

We were in Pigeon Forge this week, & my sister & brother in law, said No Way Jose's is a must! So after turning in our motorcycles we had rented from the Harley Davidson dealership across the street, NWJ's was the place we couldn't wait to get to. Nate was our waiter & he was awesome! My sister, BIL, & I had some great margaritas while my husband enjoyed his Bud-lights! The chips & salsa we all loved! We knew when we left there Monday night we would definitely be back the next night! <br/>Tuesday, we went to Gatlinburg & guess what we found? Another No Way Jose's! So mid afternoon, I enjoyed another frozen margarita. Later that evening we met back up @ MWJ's in pigeon forge for another great time (so we thought). We had the pleasure of meeting a couple from North Carolina & started talking & have drinks with them. <br/>As the evening went on, we decided to go out on the patio, BIG MISTAKE! <br/>We met & talked w/ an older couple who was very kind & enjoying their dinner, & they offered my husband the rest of their pickle platter, because they were having their entrees & didn't want to waste them. My husband told them Thank you & put the pickles on our table. In the mean time, my sister & I were standing @ the bar & sister had ordered some fried pickles as well. The bartender (who clearly had an attitude when we approached the bar) said ok & made me a ice water. My sister returned to the bar, (6-8 steps @ the most) & said "never mind on the pickles, we already have some, just cancel that order" Pissy bartender then said "I've already ordered them, I can't cancel them!" Sister said "well just tell them we don't want or need them, we already have some"<br/>Bartender walked 2 steps to the opening into the bar & hollered @ someone & said they don't want those pickles. <br/>All was fine, so we thought! <br/>Our new NC friends said "let's do a shot of tequila" & went to the bar to order shots, Pissy Bartender said "NO, I'm cutting y'all off, someone in y'all's group stole pickles from the couple next to you, I'm not serving any of you anything else!"<br/>When we learned what the pissy bartender said, it was very upsetting. We talked w/ the couple about them giving us the pickles, & they were appalled that pissy bartender said that. Of course the manager was called to "the pickle scene" & the older couple explained that no1 "stole" anything, & that we hadn't done anything wrong. <br/>Now, I DO understand how the service industry works, anyone @ that establishment can refuse service for any reason, BUT don't make up lies! <br/>We were told by the manager after the "stolen pickle" story failed, that the bartender said we had been there drinking too long, & she wasn't serving us anymore! But that rule didn't apply to the guys in the corner of the patio that were drinking beer & doing shots. Because according to the manager one of those guys is a diabetic & "he drinks water in between his drinks" her words not mine! Are you freaking kidding me? SO to the pissy bartender(long black hair) YOU LIED, & YOU missed out on a great tip, ask Nate what we tipped him on Monday night! <br/>Between the 3 couples a lot of money was spent Mon & Tuesday evening, & we tip VERY well. <br/>So friends, take our advice IF you go to NO WAY JOSE'S in pigeon forge make sure you don't get Miss Pissy Bartender (long black hair), if she's got that pissy look on her face she might think you stole the pickles!

Good food but service not great. Practice of charging for salsa not good idea.
YOLO
Service was horrible, but the most unethical thing known to Mexican restaurants happen to me here.... I was charged for chips and salsa!!! Who does that?!?! Never again.

The Gula Report. We tried No Way Jose's while in town this week. Here is the complete Gula report below:<br/><br/>1. Atmosphere: I was impressed with the facilities and the effort that was put into creating a nice Mexican ambience. It was festive, it was creative, and it was well-done. 4.5 Forks!!!!.<br/><br/>2. Cleanliness: I did not experience any issues with the cleanliness of the restaurant. Four Forks!!!!<br/><br/>3. Service: I sort of felt that our waitress had not been working here long. She wasn't too bad, but could have been a little more punctual. Three Forks!!!<br/><br/>4. Quality of Food: The food was good. It wasn't the best or the worst. I had the Sizzling Fajita Salad. It was good. The chips were mediocre. I liked the salsa and really enjoyed the Hot Green Sauce. 3.5 Forks!!!.<br/><br/>5. Value: For what we had I felt that the prices were overall reasonable. Four Forks!!!!<br/><br/>Final Score: 3.8 Forks........Very Good.

God Awful. The food and service here were absolutely terrible. This is absolutely the worst excuse for Tex-Mex food I've ever encountered.<br/><br/>The salsa - Water and a little bit of tomato juice at most. They say it's fresh. I guess if their tap water is fresh, then you can call it that.<br/><br/>The Margaritas - If there was one ounce of Tequila in the Margarita, it could not have overpowered the flavor of sugar and lime juice. Disgusting. <br/><br/>The Service - They charge extra for hot sauce which is actually a small cup of pureed habanero. It was by far the only thing that added any flavor to the meal. <br/><br/>The Manager - Stopped by our table to ask how the food was. We told him it was awful and he just shrugged liked that was nothing he could do about it. Obviously, he had eaten there before himself. <br/><br/>The Waitress - Could not pronounce half the items on the menu nor was she familiar with the menu. She had never heard of Carnitas and could not pronounce habanero. Seriously??? <br/><br/>If you want Tex-Mex or Mex this is NOT the place to go. It is if you want a completely flavorless meal with crumby service.

Could have been better. bad service but i'm aware thats just part of the territory here. all in all it was good and we will be back. they are giving us a free dessert because our order took so long to get to us when all we each had were steak fajitas. the customers at the table next to us have a complaint also and are not as forgiving as we are.

Very bad experience. Food was nothing special, service was poor. I won't be coming back and I would suggest the same for anyone reading this.

Great food and service at a fraction of what you pay in the strip.

Worst dining experience ever. Sucks. Service was beyond horrible. Overcharged me by$5 and wouldn't give me receipt. Manager made excuses.

Better than average Mexican food. A fun, festive ambiance with a young waitstaff. The service was quite good. We liked Tyler. <br/><br/>Complimentary chips and fresh pico de gallo were a good way to start the meal. The fresh guacamole was quite fresh but need a bit more salt and spice. I ordered the flautas that come with shreded, white chicken and black beans. Their flautas are larger than I've had at other restaurants. The spicy queso that accompanies this dish made it really good. The Mexi rice was okay and the simmered black beans were above average. My dining companion ordered the chicken and steak fajitas and stated the steak was incredibly good because of the marinade they used. <br/><br/>The food was reasonably priced and I would dine here again.

If you want a Chi Chi's type meal, this is it. Strictly middle of the road. Salsa good but chile relleno and chicken avocado salad a bit uninspired.

No liquor! How does a Mexican place not have liquor or tequila? I walked out!
