A ton of food!!
If you don't have a good way to cut yourself off then you will walk out like I did feeling overstuffed and worthless the rest of the night.
All in all food was very good. There are three main courses that are served daily. Fried chicken, ham, chicken fried steak.
The fresh fried chicken was hot and tender. The meal is served family style. You choose five sides and they will continue to bring more upon request.
Service was very friendly.
Prices were ok, $19.99 for adults, kids $8.99 6 and up.
The service there was excellent. The waiter was quick to inform and explain the family style dining and the food came out witching 5-10 minutes of us placing our order. Everything was amazing. The fried chicken was probably the best fried chicken I've ever had. I absolutely loved this place.
Really good fried chicken and country fried steak. The sides were OK. They had a tang this northern girl didn't like. :-) place was clean and warm environment.
We tired out Mamas farmhouse this morning for breakfast. We got there at just a little after 8 and had no waiting. I really like that all my 3 kids (under 5 eat for free) got to pick what they wanted from all the food. It was great for all that we got. The environment was really lovely as well. Definitely a place we will come and eat at eat time we're back in pigeon forge.
GREAT breakfast!! We ate there this morning around 10:00. Staff was friendly, and our waitress (Cara) did an awesome job!
The breakfast is all you can eat served family style and is only $10.99 for adults and children under 5 eat free. Plus, there are free refills on milk and juice! The food was amazing and there was a big variety brought to our table. I highly recommend this place for breakfast!
The price is shown on the board as you enter the door. The menu is shown there too. We didnt see it on the way in but I did notice while leaving. We have three kids and everyone found something to eat. Even our picky eater. I liked it very much. It is a little pricy but its about the same as the other restaurants in the area.

Great food, high costs. My family visited today for lunch, and the food was wonderful -- pillowy soft biscuits and cornbread muffins, delicious fried chicken, yummy mashed potatoes, top-notch mac n' cheese, among other great offerings. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal... until we received the check. It was $14.99 per person + another $2-something for each of our drinks. $60 for 3 people is just too steep. Too bad, because I really like the place... $10.99 or even $11.99 would be more tolerable.
High quality food. Clean. Comfortable. Good server; Taija. Family style dinners with chicken or vegetable soup or crisp salad, fried chicken, turkey & dressing, meatloaf, green beans, fried okra, gravy, mashed potatoes and strawberry short cake. Was there on a Thursday evening. No waiting.
$20 per person with tax + tip.
We loved it. Family style was a nice change. The waiter "Billy" was friendly and made our kids feel at home. Great place
Good quality country food, worth the extra price.
Amazing! Family style breakfast; the waitress brought "everything Mama's cooking" and we all dug in. Nothing short of actually eating at my Grandma's house can compare with eating at Grandma's Farmhouse! If you don't absolutely love the food, atmosphere, and friendly service here, there's nothing anybody could have done to please you anyway - come in, sit down, and enjoy!
Wow! Mama's farmhouse was such a wonderful meal. Our server Debbie was the sweetest lady! The food was absolutely amazing we had the breakfast! It's aboit 13 dollars but its worth every penny! :)
Great food!!! Slightly expensive.

Very good idea, great service and very good food! Almost didn't try but happy we did. Will be back to try breakfast!
Excellent all around. Normally would go to Old Mill but tried this for a change. Great experience !
Good family food. June 18, 2012....dinner...all you can eat buffet, that the kids liked...the fried chicken was really good!
I had low expectations, as I usually dislike buffet all-you-can eat restaurants. I was expecting low quality food, and was pleasantly surprised when our food came out. The salad dressings were good-- definitely made in house. My husband liked the chicken fried steak-- I preferred the fried chicken, which was juicy and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were made well, but a little over-whipped which made them a bit gummy. The sweet potato casserole was delicious, and not overly sweet. The green beans were just ok, as were the biscuits and cornbread. The macaroni and cheese appeared to be made from a box, so we hardly touched them. The cole slaw was pretty standard-- not amazing, but definitely a good addition to the meal. The dessert options were banana pudding or strawberry shortcake, and I definitely made the right choice with the banana pudding. The price is clearly listed on the specials board at the hostess station ($17/ person), so the price is available-- no one should feel mislead. Overall, the food is good quality for what this restaurant is-- a buffet. If you are looking for fine dining, this isn't the place to go, but for bottomless amounts of traditional southern food, this place is a good choice.
LOVE. Went with a party of 11 and we loved everything about it! The food was just like "mama" would make. We thoroughly enjoyed this place! The salt scrub in the bathroom was very cool too :)
Sooooo good!!!. All you can eat of the BEST southern food!!!! the gravy is insane and OH man the potatoes! the ONLY 2 things i think they could pay a little more attention to is the broccoli casserole had stiff stalks in it. and the strawberry shortcake was just on a biscuit. which the rest of my family didn't seem to mind... so...
all in all an amazing restaurant! its a little pricey but you can eat till you're FULL!!!
Good meal. Food came quickly, it was all you can eat, so all you had to do was ask for more. Our group included three teens and they wanted more chicken legs, so it was no problem. Buffet costs $16.99 and was very good. It may be pricey, but it is all you can eat and you are in a tourist town so it is all pricey.
LOVED IT! We'll be back. We happened upon Mama's on a Sunday afternoon early in our stay May 2011 and were very pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality of the food. Excellent home cooked meals. We went back again during our stay and took another couple, this time for dinner. Everyone absolutely LOVED the meal! We'll go back everytime we are in Gatlinburg, Mama's will be one of our ''go to" restaurants.

Very Good!. If you want something cheap, go to McDonalds. If you want great Southern food brought to your table make sure to stop at Mama's. We ate here a few nights ago and loved it. Our waitress Cara was so friendly and helpful. She explained how everything worked immediately and kept the food coming. It was more than 2 people could eat, we did not ask for seconds. This will be a place we go everytime we are in Pigeon Forge.
DIRECTOR. Our company visited Mamma's when they first opened
last year at the end our visit . We were determined to get back and we shall next month.
Great family style dining!. One of the best meals I have ever had. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Reminded me of family meals with everyone passing around the plates. Comes complete with desserts, bread, and drinks included in the price. If you like southern cookin, this is one place you need to visit!
This was an enjoyable meal. The service was very good and the meal very filling! The concept is family style all-you-can-eat meals, where the food is served to you at the table. We started out with a slightly spicy vegetable soup, cornbread, biscuits and butter (molasses & peach). Second course was 2 meat dishes and 5 veggies. These vary by day apparently. Dessert was a choice of peach cobbler or banana pudding. The food keeps coming as long as you want it to - hence the stuffed feeling I have! Basically, a good meal, but nothing exceptional. Pricing was appropriate. Worth a try at least once.
Southern Style. Mama's Farmhouse is southern style, so you get everything on the menu brought to you. The meats include pork tenderloin, country style steak and fried chicken. The chicken and steak are both excellent, the pork tends to run a bit dry for me and covering it with gravy as they do is not my ideal solution. Of the sides the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes are excellent and several others are good. Not great, homemade country style like you might find in less commercial areas, like Shirley's in Butler Tn. But, it is a nice change of pace, the service has been very good and the staff extremely friendly.
it definitely was an interesting experience and good home cooking food. To tell you the truth it felt like I was at home having Thanksgiving dinner that Mom cooked,my mom can cook now, with family! That atmosphere was great well kept for how busy it was. The service was great! The bathrooms could have been a little better but not horrible. it is pricey so be prepared to shell out some money! Definitely worth it and will recommend anyone who comes to the Smokey’s to stop buy this location!! Also loved that you could review the restaurant while you were there. the was a wait but of course there 11 of us!! Thank Mamas Kitchen
We stopped in for breakfast before leaving town to return home. I wish that we'd have went sooner. The food was amazing! It's a different setup, it is a buffet that they bring to your table. I enjoyed the cheese grits and my wife really liked the strawberry butter (which they do sell separately). Not something that I'd eat everyday, but definitely worth stopping by if your in the area.
Well..we were pleasantly surprised. Some ratings and reviews were a little worrisome but we try to make our own opinions about places. We were looking for a place to eat dinner on our last night in town. Wanted something family style/all you can eat and didn't want to have to go back to The Island just for Paula Deen's restaurant. Mama's Farmhouse has some new fans. We really enjoyed the homey atmosphere and the sweet employees . Elizabeth (Brooke) was our waitress and was so nice and attentive. Food was nicely flavored and we ate our fair share! Would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again. The chili was my favorite!
Buffet family-style dinner with all daily meats, 4 sides, soup, and warm biscuits with a berry jam. Ham was honey baked, tender, and moist. Chicken had a coating that was semi crunchy. It could have used more salt, but was tasty. Chicken breading flavor was a lighter and similar version of KFC. Macaroni was cheesy but lacked flavor. Mashed potatoes were freshly mashed and delicious. Biscuits were warm and went well with jam. Peach cobbler dessert was warm and the perfect amount of sweet. Cobbler was served with ice cream.
Waitress was very kind. They serve food using a rolling cart. Plates are plastic and kid-friendly. They serve Pepsi products.
The food was amazing and it came unlimited. Every dish had country home flavor. I give this place an A+. The price was great, the service is great and everything tasted amazing.
1 star for ample outdoor porch seating and family games outside! This was the highlight of the restaurant experience for many kids. 1 star for a classic farmhouse aesthetic, many rooms and large family tables. 1 star for fresh, hot, delicious food. You don’t necessarily order from a menu- they drop off shareable plates of breakfast food and you order more of whichever you like. 1 star for staff! They were all so friendly. 1 star for cleanliness.
Nice place. Was recommended. All you can eat. Several meats. Several sides. Includes delicious chili and amazing biscuits. Includes dessert too. Defiantly comfort foods in large quantity. About $22 a person at night.
We had a wonderful breakfast at Mama's Farmhouse. We weren't sure what to expect because looking online it was hard to determine the menu. The way it worked for breakfast was they served every thing listed on the little menu family style and they will refill items as needed. One thing we didn't realize was you have to request the waffles, they're included in the price but made to order. Definitely ask for the waffles, they were delicious.
Our server was so nice and attentive. We had a great time and I am glad we decided to try it out!
We stopped here after a day at Dollywood looking to find some good southern style food. This place definitely delivered exactly that! Their biscuits, mac n cheese, meatloaf, and banana pudding were all amazing. Included is a soup or salad, biscuits with spread, all 3 entrees they are serving that day, 4 sides, and dessert. My only "complaint" would be it was way too much food for only two people, so I felt like I was still paying for several dishes that I was not able to eat that would sadly get thrown out. But, this would not stop me from returning. Overall, this is a great restaurant for groups and families looking for delicious southern food around Pigeon Forge.
2023 update: We returned here. The banana pudding, biscuits, and sweet potato casserole are still perfect and are worth visiting for just these, but the other food quality seemed to have decreased since our last visit.
Family style dinner featuring fried chicken. Beautiful country style setting, servers are friendly and helpful. You and your family will enjoy this restaurant. Highly recommend. Dessert is included with your meal...order the apple crisp.😋🙂
Wow! With so many options in the area, I'm glad we decided to have dinner at Mamas.
Service was great. Everyone was friendly. Our waiter was awesome and very attentive
Food is served family style, and is all you can eat. You get so much food, one round was more than enough for me. You get each of the main course specials of the day, and choose four sides. Each meal begins with a choice of soup and biscuits. We visited on a Sunday in November, so our main course was turkey with stuffing, fried chicken and ham. All of the food was absolutely delicious!
For desert, my wife and I tried their award winning banana pudding. Delicious!!
Highly recommend Mamas. A great atmosphere, awesome service, and delicious food at a fair price
My Wife & I really enjoy before our show that night. Fresh homestyle food and fast friendly service. Reasonable prices too.
This place was a very pleasant surprise! On a Friday night in November we only waited 5 minutes to be sat, our waitress Tiffany was so nice! This is NOT a buffet, it’s family style, and unlimited! The biscuits were amazing, the fried chicken was so delicious and sides were all very good. The banana pudding was the best I’ve ever had! Prices were very reasonable for unlimited (and actually delicious) food. Highly recommend, non commercialized restaurant in PF.
I enjoyed this because the wait staff was so welcoming and professional. We went back 2 more times during our 4 day stay (2 breakfasts, one dinner). The food was great. We truly loved this restaurant.
The entire experience was great. Great place to go if your those people who can't decide what to eat. You're able to try everything on the menu that day and leave full. For the area and the all you can eat aspect I believe the price is exceptionally low.
All of the food was great! I didn't have anything that I didn't like. It's literally like going to mom or grandma's house. Home cooked taste, passed around the table, laid back, great service. This will be a definite stop anytime I'm in the area.
Phenomenal experience and fantastic job, Mama's Farmhouse!
The best food I have ever had besides my own mom's and grandma 100% worth the money will be back
We came for lunch and their service and fast and very nice and funny. Their food was AMAZING. I really recommend if you wanna get full and wanna eat good. Kinda pricey but if you want me to be honest its worth your money!
