Great little place. Extremely friendly staff. It's a good small town feel to get good food, without feeling like your in the heart of pigeon forge chaos. Great outdoor seating available located just on the outside of town. Ribs were great, pulled pork was great, the sausage was best! We will be back and highly recommend. Cook came put from the back to ask how everything tasted. Loved it!

Visitor from Florida, saw this place on way back from Pigeon Forge. Love, love, love these small BBQ places. Family friendly, very nice people, and the food was fantastic.
Ribs were perfect, not quite fall off the bone, which is a good thing, means they are cooked to perfection (rib meat should not fall off bone, there should always be a small amount of bite required to pull the meat off the bone).
Slaw was great (sweet)
Baked beans were good
Rolls are...well basic rolls.
No alcohol sold here, so if you want a beer with your meal, that is not offered. Other than that, this is a must try place in the Smokys.

The best bbq place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Pulled pork on a plate was the best juicy ever meat, Collard Greens... Nice little BBQ place with indoor and outdoor seating. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. Also the Cole slaw seemed like it was homemade😋. We got are order delivered to our table in about 10 minutes after we ordered. We will definitely stop here next time we are in the area.

Great place to stop for some BBQ, friendly and helpful staff. Nice size patio that is dog friendly too, we're traveling with ours and it worked out perfectly. We had pulled pork sandwiches with sides and everything tasted great. Only one thing, there were some bees on the patio that our dog tried biting under the table, and one flying around me was on my plate.

It may not look like much from the road but let me tell you, these are some of the best ribs I have ever eaten. So incredibly tender and delicious!!! So much food and Absolutely delicious! The sides we had were macaroni, mashed potato’s, greens, green beans and cole slaw. My husband’s favorite side was the green’s; my favorite side was the slaw. I also decided to give the carrot cake a try and it too did not disappoint.

So glad we stopped by! The food so delicious! The ribs were fall off the bone and so flavorful I didn't even need any sauce! Pulled pork sandwich was great and OMG that Mac and cheese!!! 10 out of 10 I highly recommend!

Very good service and food. The brisket was super tender and bark was crazy good. We had sides of baked beans and coleslaw the beans were some of the best I've ever had. Could use a screened in area for outside seating.

Boss Hogg's BBQ exceeded my expectations with their mouthwatering ribs, golden fries, and delectable coleslaw. The ribs were tender, smoky, and fell right off the bone, leaving me craving for more. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the ideal accompaniment to the juicy ribs. The coleslaw added a refreshing crunch to the meal, with a delightful balance of tanginess and creaminess. The flavors blended harmoniously, creating a memorable BBQ experience. Boss Hogg's BBQ is a definite must-visit for any barbecue lover seeking a satisfying and flavorsome meal.

Feels like a hidden gem. We've been to the area a lot and found this lovely place while on a vacation with friends. Fast service, great southern food, and we loved the Bigfoot statue and giant chair out front.

Found this place by accident and stopped for lunch. Had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and mac and cheese for my sides. All of it was delicious. Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean.

Best ribs and brisket in the area! Didn't need the barbecue sauce that's how good they were! Brisket was tender, juicy, and tasty! Indoor dining is small, but they have patio dining as well. We got there right before 6pm on a Sunday. 15 minutes later, it was packed with a line forming. Hat's off to the grill master! Pic shows the 1lb brisket and the 2 lbs ribs. Tasty slaw!

Seriously so delicious. I had the small rib plate and my boyfriend had the pulled pork plate. Service was extremely extremely fast, the waitress was nice and welcoming. The ribs were SOO good, fall off the bone!! And the sides were delicious too! If we ever come back to the area we will definitely eat here again!

We had brisket sandwiches loaded with delicious smoked meat. If you are not a big eater, consider sharing a sandwich. Lunch basket came with one side. The baked beans and loaded potato salad were good choices. They have 2 sauces on the table. Fountain drinks with refills are $2.99 (too high). This was not a cheap lunch, but the quality was good. Service was swift. You will go away full and happy. Inside and covered patio seating. Take out available.

I usually make a special trip to Boss Hogg's any time I'm in the area. There have been some changes in the past couple years, and I can't say all of them are good. The place looks great and the people are wonderful, but the food is not quite as good as it used to be. Maybe it's because I didn't try the catfish and that's a primary focus now. But it used to be the best BBQ in the area. I'm hoping it was just an off day. I will go back next time I'm in the area.

This place was so delicious that we ate here twice during our vacation!
My husband and I tried their brisket and pork and both were amazing. All of the sides were also really good which is sometimes a hit or miss at other bbq joints. The mac & cheese was my favorite followed closely by their green beans and baked beans.
The prices were fair, the service was friendly and efficient, and they had a nice covered patio to sit on.
They are located not too far off of the parkway so it is definitely not out of the way at all and well worth it!

When dinner plans at home go awry, you go get BBQ.
We were staying in the area, and saw this spot as we drove by so we stopped in when we were in a pinch. Definitely not disappointed.
We got a pound of pulled pork and a pound of the smoked sausage. Both were very good!
They come unadulterated (no sauce on them), just a light dusting of dry seasoning. Then you can add your own amount of sauce. I thought that was a nice way of doing it.
Their sauce (of the same name) is actually pretty good. It's a mustard base, more vinegary than a smokey/sweet BBQ.
They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outside you can find a few spots facing the trees and hills across the road. Really a nice spot away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Pigeon Forge.

Two of us split a brisket sandwich dinner. The meat was lean and smokey. It didn't even need sauce. The baked beans had two types of beans and their signature sauce which is vinegar based.
Christy was very helpful and friendly. She suggested the chocolate cake which we got to go. It was big enough for two.
Will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Not bad, but not great. Brisket was dry and tough, pulled pork was pretty good. Baked beans and cole slaw were both overly sweet and cole slaw was Very Wet. Prices were on the high side for what you get. There are better choices for BBQ in the area.

Nice little place right off the highway. Indoor and outdoor seating and very friendly staff. We would highly recommend if you're in the area! The Pork was ok but needed the sauce to compliment it. The brisket however was exceptional, melted in your mouth and needed nothing!

We stopped here on 1st night in town. BBQ is never my selection for a meal; however, if someone wants to go then I'll go. My husband loved the place! We each ordered pork & 2 sides. I'd always rather have Shredded Chicken but most BBQ places serve it still on the bone. Boss Hogg's wasn't any different. The pork was tender and seasoned well. I didn't like the mustard-type sauce but enjoyed the regular. Sandwich portion was large. Coleslaw was delicious. The baked beans tasted like it was made in the mustard-type sauce. I didn't finish it. Husband liked the potato salad.
What impressed me the most is that we arrived at 8:45p prepared to have our order to go knowing they closed at 9p. They said we could stay however long we wanted. The service wasn't diminished by impending closing time like some places. For that reason alone, I'd return.
My 3.5 rating = restaurant is average/as expected. Nothing horrible but not the "OMG, gotta have again".

Really delicious pulled pork, great sides and friendly staff. Creamy coleslaw was fantastic. Very sweet. Beans were uniquely flavored and tasty. Enjoyed a taste of my wife's potato salad as well. Had Sonny's Sauce on the table which was a nice surprise. Totally worth the stop.
The meats, specifically the brisket and chicken, are cooked very well and the sauce is awesome and can be described as a semi-sweet Carolina twangy style sauce with just a slight spicy kick. The sides are solid.

Very nice restaurant!! The food was awesome and service was great! Log tables and chairs. Nice quiet atmosphere! We had the chicken, brisket, and pulled pork. The green beans are wonderful.

Clean restaurant
The Bbq brisket and runs are so tender they melt in your mouth.
The amount of food they give you for the price is surprising.
Friendly staff!!!
