We ate here a for breakfast and then for dinner on two separate occasions. This was one of the better experiences we have had in the area. Servers and staff were nice and friendly. Food was great each time and salad bar was fresh. Restaurant was clean. We were treated like family during both meals. Definitely worth a visit when in Pigeon Forge. Will be back.

This restaurant has a solid salad bar, the hot food bar looked okay bit definitely not the first thing I would order. Thier sandwiches though are so yummy! Thier tomatoes on thier sandwiches are so sweet and juicy. My favorite was the Turkey club on sourdough bread with the smoked bacon. Would definitely go back for the salad bar and yummy sandwiches.

We were waited on and served promptly, The staff that was on duty that night were very helpful and professional. We were there Saturday evening and have a most enjoyable experience. I lost the names of the 2 girls that served us we were right by the entrance way where we could see the TV and they even turned on the Ohio state buckeyes cause I am a Columbus native... 3 Thumbs Up

Great experience here. Brandon our server was super cute and attentive! Food was fresh and hot on the hot bar. Salad bar was all fresh, with the exception of the fresh cut tomatoes. Resturant seemed clean and all staff was nice! Kudos to Brandon on his cuteness and great customer service. Need to come home with us :)

We were excited to go to Shoney’s since the locations near our home have all closed. We had the breakfast bar and we were not disappointed! We don’t think that the quality and prices are much different than how we remember them from 16 years ago! Our waitress was very nice and we really enjoyed our visit!

We ate at this Shoney's the day after Thanksgiving before we headed back home. It was very crowded but surprisingly we got a table pretty quickly. Instead of giving your name they give you a number which I really liked. We all at the bar. The food was delicious, the bar was clean, and our waitress was busy but very attentive.

It's been years since I've had a chance to eat at Shoneys! The food was good. The server was friendly. The prices were very high. $15 for a ham and cheese sandwich and $8 for dessert. Both were delicious but we will just go have steak somewhere next time.

We did a late dinner on a Wednesday, and no crowd, no wait. We needed a quick bite, and it worked out for us. The food was good at the food bar, and the hospitality was even better. So if you don't want fast food and don't want to wait an hour, then I recommend it here. Or if you just want some good food.😋😊 They also have burgers, but we will try them another day 🤩

We got to the door and were rather shocked to see a sign asking people to be nice to the servers who show up for work, like is that "out of character" in today's world? We have always known Shoneys food to be quite good as this was but I'd like to personally thank Megan for her friendly and attentive service. How anyone could be less than grateful for her attitude and kindness is beyond me.

Only had one steak you could order and didn't offer any on the buffet bar. My husband and I seen a black (where a worm had been) big hole place in one of the tomatoes and let the lady who was refilling the bar know, she told the lady that was working with her apparently her boss and this lady told her it wasn't a bad place it was were they were cut in the back and it was just the top of the tomato. Even if that was true why not throw that part away because it is a bad part too but this was at least as long as my pinky and as wide as my thumb. They just left this on the bar, no wonder nobody wants the salad bar.

Shoney's has always been a favorite of my husband and I. The Shoney's in our area closed down many years ago, so if we are traveling and find one, we will stop most of the time. We did just that and we are VERY HAPPY that we did.
We were greeted as soon as we entered. ALL of the staff were genuinely friendly. Even the manager checked on us and chatted awhile. The food was hot and delicious. The hot bar had enough options to make a nice meal. Even the restrooms were clean and updated.
But the highlight of our evening was our waiter, Braeden. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was nice to talk to and valued us as a customer. He even asked our names and shook our hands. He highlighted features of the Food Bar so we knew what our choices were. Braeden made our meal that much better. He told us we needed to come back and try their breakfast bar. I think we are going to do just that. We just hope he will be working when we do.

5:30 pm and the parking lot was empty, unlike every other place around. No wait, clean dining room, nice staff, and a good buffet. We all enjoyed the baked steak and gravy. Buffet had choices for everyone, and the 4 of us ate for under $60! This was the most affordable meal we had all week. Highly recommended.

Went there to eat dinner while on Vacation with my,family there wasn't much of a selection on the buffet at all no dessert except cake that was very dry out and fruit no Ice cream for the kids or anything was okay not really worth the 12 dollars for the meal pay the extra 5 dollars go to Golden Corral much better Buffet more,choices it's not what it use to be .

Waited an hour for 2 Swiss hamburgers steamed vegetables and a baked potato that was over cooked. Was horrible! I could not eat the baked potato and our bill was $19. I can say Judy our server checked on us a lot and checked on what was taking so long with our food. There was only 2 other couples in the restaurant while we were there; they were not crowded.

Waaay to expensive for the quality of food. I remember as a child this place was the cheaper rout to go when looking for breakfast. Family of 5 was $75. I could have went to a fancy restaurant for that.

My first job in high school was working for Shoney's in Kokomo Indiana. They've all since moved out of Indiana there are no Shoney's to be found until you get into Tennessee. I finally got back to eat the breakfast buffet and it was everything I remembered over 20 years ago it was perfect.

We had breakfast it was Great except for the gravy. One one the girls working at the food bar would just look at you like you were stupid when you said something about the runny gravy. Then finally another lady came to the bar and said O No We Can't have this, she replaced the gravy but by this time we were ready to leave. � �

My family was there tonight. They wanted to order off the menu...the waitress told them there was no cook tonight & they only had the bar available! What the heck! So they ate from the bar. Waitress came back to ask if everyone was satisfied...no was their reply. They didn't appreciate the waitress calling them stupid either. Guess who didn't get a tip? All Shoney's restaurants are just horrible anymore. At least the ones in WV have cooks. Lastly, if this restaurant had no cook, then how was the bar food prepared and cooked? Hmm.
