The food was pretty good but not great for the price. $84 for 3 adult and 1 kids menu items. The photos show all of our meals except for an Old Fashioned Chocolate Shake, not even the high dollar one. Service was not a problem til the milkshake to go at the end was brought in a to stay glass. The place is huge so you should really never have to wait. Loved the nostalgia of the place. Brought back a lot of memories from my childhood.

We visited this diner because we were told that it had great food and the atmosphere was amazing!!
And Sunliner Diner does not disappoint.
If you like an atmosphere that screams "old-time diner" then this is definitely your kind of place!
The old vehicles, the outfits, and the wonderful food blew us away!
The fried green tomatoes and their Avocado burger are delicious! Do not miss a chance to stop here on your way through!

What an experience!
We showed up just in time to have lunch in the Cadillac booth, a 1958 Cadillac that had been converted into an eating table. Our waitress was patient as could be with all of our touristy questions, and was SO nice! In fact, every employee that stopped by our table (maybe 10) was complimentary and kind.
The menu is inspired by 50s pop culture and featured a wide variety of options. We ordered the grilled cheese & fries, patty melt & onion rings, a grape float, a banana split shake, fried green tomatoes, and a pancake shot. A lot of food, yes. But, we wanted the whole experience! And we got it!
10 out of 10 would recommend. 3 out of 5 stars. Wouldn't change a thing. #HailNimrod

We had a BLAST! Sunliner is open late, has a great menu (it's disguised as a newspaper from 1958!) with a wide selection of food, which was FANTASTIC. No complaints about food, cleanliness, or atmosphere. It's a super popular place, so expect to relax between visits from your server, as they are HOPPING busy making everyone feel welcome! Great place for all ages, all appetites!

We had such a good experience here!! Alleen was our server and she was excellent!! She made our experience fun. I could tell she loves her job and really embraced the 50s theme. On top of that the food and shakes were so good. We loved Sunliner Diner and will definitely return!

My husband and I just ate breakfast here and let me tell you it was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is super neat with a retro feel. The waitress Alleen was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. I was FaceTiming my mom and Alleen wanted to say hi to her back in Florida. She was the friend I didn’t know I needed but there she was. So glad our paths crossed. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. There’s even a little gift shop area where I picked up a shirt to remember the visit. 5 stars all the way!

We stopped here because it looked really cool from the outside. The inside did NOT disappoint! The decor is stunning and real nostalgic. The menus are the cutest newspaper style. The food... wooow! That's all I can say! It is phenomenal! All three adults in our party did the Jukebox burger challenge... beat burger I've ever eaten! Definitely try their fried green tomatoes and fried pickles! Their old style milkshakes are delicious! Our waitress (Brandi) deserves a raise and a customer service award. She was SO friendly, knowledgeable, and very service oriented! She was so kind and fun with our 7 year old son. We will absolutely be back every time we are in the area and we will always 100% recommend this dining experience to everyone we meet!

So much fun! My dad and I did the Jukebox burger challenge and got our Sunliner surprise and picked songs on the jukebox like the good ol days! The waiters and waitresses attitudes varied, some seemed fun and some didn't at all. Burger and fries were delicious, but the atmosphere over all was probably the best part of this experience. Next time I'll get a milkshake!

I absolutely loved the sunline diner! The food was amazing and their sodas from tap are really really good. I ordered a double burger with Mac and cheese, fried pickles, and a rootbeer. Devoured that immaculate combination in like 15 minutes.
Our server Alleen was HILARIOUS and engaged with us well. I’m very socially awkward and introverted if that says anything. The interaction was overall a wonderful experience.
The atmosphere was great! The interior design was the best! I love the booths inside of the classic cars.

We had an amazing experience and it was perfect for our family of 7! We have 5 kids and Alleen, our server, made it such a fun experience that felt like we were really back in the 1950’s. The food was amazing as well, so it wasn’t just a fun experience but it was truly a great meal as well! Highly recommend and will be back next time we are in town. Ask for Alleen when you come ;)

Sunliner Diner looked very interesting, so we wanted to try it. It is a very unique restaurant with a cool 50’s theme. It looks like an old fashioned diner inside. It even has two old cars that were made into dining booths.
We were given menus in the form of newspapers. What a unique idea! We ordered a Classic Ruben Sandwich with French Fries and New Your Strip Dinner with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. For dessert we shared a Turtle Sundae. All of it was delicious, but the atmosphere made it all even better.
They also had a gift shop off to the side.

Atmosphere was great. Certain songs came on and everyone there broke out singing. That alone was spectacular to see and I wish places were like this more often! Food was delicious, i don’t recall exactly the name of the rye bread burger but id never ordered one and it was delicious! Got several other toys for our child that were old timey and this place is awesome. From Gulf Shores,AL to Pigeon Forge,AL i have been impressed with y’all! Keep it up. Til next time.

This place is worth the trip just for the service and atmosphere. The very nice waiter and servers kept checking on us, and even apologized for our food being delayed. One detail though: I don't remember ever having a burger being delivered so quickly! The atmosphere is truly amazing! Beautiful 50s decorations and even the staff wears classic uniforms. Unfortunately, the food wasn't on par with the restaurant's appearance. Burger meat and bacon didn't taste good. Not a deal breaker, but I'd hope it'd be better.

Customer service deserves 10 stars!!! Nephew got sick (Not anything from here) and they replaced the food and helped with a new shirt. Definitely a family friendly place!
Food was amazing and he loved the car and 50s environment.

When I was a senior in high school I had majored in Culinary Arts and we had to create a diner that we would open. I had chose a 50s style diner and this restaurant is the exact image I had when I did the project. Alleen is the exact person I would want working for my restaurant. She was bubbly and so amazing at making us feel welcomed! This was our first time and we will for sure be back and asking for Alleen! Thank you for being amazing!

10/10 would eat here again. The food was delicious and well worth the price for the serving you get, the atmosphere was top notch with the 50s theme. I felt like I should have been wearing a poodle skirt and a ponytail when I walked through the door. The old cars out front just added something to it. The service was amazing and I loved the menus that looked like newspapers from back then. I will eat here again when I go back for a visit.

The Sunliner Diner was such a fun experience! The diner is set in a 50’s-60’s theme, but it isn’t cheesy. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the details. Everyone on staff was very kind and funny. The food was excellent! A lot of times themed restaurants kind of slip up on food because they’re more focused on atmosphere. Not Sunliner! Everything was awesome and our waiter took great care of us. If we’re ever in the Pigeon Forge area again then we’ll absolutely make a second visit!

Fun, fun, fun until your daddy takes the TBird away!!!!😎👍
Awesome 50s diner experience with great food, excellent service and killer banana splits 😋
Corey was an awesome guy that did an amazing job taking care of us. He's so kind, funny and loves his 3 children and wife Alexis that also works here. I think he was shocked we ate a BLT platter and cheese burger platter and still wanted to split that classic banana split. Yummy 😋 when on vacation, no calories count.
Be sure to visit if you want some fun, great food and awesome 😎 service!!

We travelled from London to visit my parents. For a couple of days we all went to Gatlinburg and on the way we stopped at the diner!
The outside was impressive and like nothing we had seen. On arrival we were seated and given menus. However no one came to take our order for some time.
The manager, a lovely, funny and confident young lady we believe to be called Patti noticed our sad faces!
She approached us and asked if we had been waiting a while we explained the situation. Instantly she began to look after us, took our order made sure our drinks came to us by herself! The food arrived and she continued to look after us. Her work ethic was outstanding and turned around a possible awkward situation into one of the most enjoyable meals and experiences in a long time.
The food and drinks were amazing and fresh, hot and full of flavour! The portions were large and slightly overwhelming but hey it’s better than small 🤣
The ONLY thing we would complain about is the girls in black T-shirts I think they clear the tables were stood right by our table FaceTiming someone laughing rather than working.
But overall an amazing visit and we would definitely come again thank you to the manager for doing her job so well Lynne Jim Miranda and Darren xx
