This place was suggested to me by a coach/teacher that work with at York JH. So my family and I decided to take the drive from 99 and Rayford rd. We had breakfast tacos with BBQ on top. The best tacos I have ever had. The Meating Place is a wonderful establishment with great BBQ and very friendly staff. The owner came out and talked with us for a bit. This kind of personal service is what is lacking in most restaurants these days. Even though it is a small drive we will be coming here often for great food and even better service!! I highly recommend this place to all!!

Really great place to stop by for some lunch. Me and my girlfriend stopped by today and enjoyed there food. The whole place itself was super clean and the people there are very nice and welcoming. Got to meet the owner and the daughter. Both super nice people. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to find a Good BBQ place with a amazing Texas hospitality that this place definetly has. Great family environment.

Just left this place with my family, 4 adults and two grandkids. We were all so pleased and impressed. The baked potato was loaded with lots of meat and fixins. The ribs were out of this world, tasty and fall off the bone tender. Better than my own �. We all raved about them. The brisket was delicious, tender and juicy. The sides were awesome as well. Mac &cheese was creamy and delicious. BBQ sauce is so good. We drove from Hockley to try this place and it was well worth the trip. We got three different pieces of pie to go, haven't tried them yet but, they look very good. This will be our go-to spot for BBQ from now on. Thank you all at "The meating place"
