Chicken Annie's Original - Pittsburg - Photo album

Cannot say enough about the best fried chicken on the face of the planet. Excellent service, the best staff, and, again, you won't find better chicken anywhere!! Also, don't shy away from the livers and gizzards. Surprisingly delicious!!!
Mouthwatering. I've always ordered from there when my family/friends go but this is the first time in probably 10 years I be dined in there. Be more of a frequent customer from now on. Nice, clean &, super friendly place and the fried chicken and German slaw is unmatched!!!
Got a large catering order for our HS Jazz Band. This place did a great job. Order was ready on time, they were friendly and it was delicious. Will come back whenever I'm this way!
Our HS band traveled for a Jazz Band Festival. The service here was so down home and friendly. The food was amazing. Love meals that are homemade. Thank you for great food & service.
Love the history but not the chicken. Bought chicken at Annie's and Mary's to do our own comparison. Have to say we have had better chicken from our local grocery. Not worth the drive, NOT in Pittsburg. Oil must have been old or something? Peanut oil maybe? Bad smell for chicken. And it was over coo
Onion rings were wonderful. Chicken Fry steak was okay. Salad was only bagged salad mix. No tomatoes.
Our visit was later in the afternoon. Chicken was overcooked and dry. Sides were cold. Service was marginal. I've heard of this place for years, it was on my bucket list. Probably will not return.
Chicken Annies is certainly a great place to stop by and enjoy a great meal. We enjoyed the food we had there. Only complaint was the breast meat was like a 1/4 of a breast and not a full one. Made it like a piece of jerky. So dry and no comparison to the legs or thighs that were perfectly cooked.
