Our food was excellent!🥰 My husband had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll. I had the grilled chicken, cheese tator tots and green beans & a roll. Huge grilled chicken breast! Smothered steak was good they cooked the onions liked I ask. but was very disappointed they were out of fried okra. That's why we stopped there

I always get hot good food at herchels. ALWAYS. I usually get the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a side of bacon.

Not the worst place we have ever eaten, but pretty close. Food had no taste. Girls working just a job. No decent customer service. Did not listen to preparations requested. Listed as mom and pop. Now that is a laugh. Will not trick us again.

Excellent breakfast joint, the pancake platters are everything you could hope for. If you're counting carbs like I am, the omlettes are fab!

Try the potato with brown gravy onions and hamburger really good stuff if you don't come back for more there is something wrong with you.

This place is great. On my first visit it was chicken fried steak, onion rings and fried okra, all of which were top notch. Second visit was more sensible, grilled chicken salad which was also very good. Can't wait to be back in Mt. Pleasant to visit them again.
