Pamela's Diner - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Pamela’s is consistently awesome… particularly when you’re hungover. The hotcakes and Pittsburgh hash are incredible. There is always a wait but the line moves fast. We had a party of four on a Saturday around 12:30/1 and they originally told us 45 minutes but we were seating in less than 20. Parkin
One of the coolest spots in Pittsburgh! Incredible location, delightful servers, and wow such an awesome retro diner vibe! Top all that with ambiance ...off the charts. Great spot... so stop in and grab a plate of Pittsburgh hash.
Pamelas is my favorite brunch place in Pittsburgh. It provides high quality and large portion dishes. My favorite savory dish is the corn beef hash. The corn beef is not salty. The hash is pan fried and a little crispy, which makes it taste so good. For the two eggs, I always go with the scrambled
I had the pleasure of dining at Pamela's Diner on 9/14/23; it was easily the best breakfast experience I had all week. I opted for the Meat & Cheese Omelet featuring sausage, cheddar cheese, and a side of Lyonnaise potatoes and French toast. To wash it all down, I had a refreshing black iced tea. T
I was in town for a wedding and didn't want a hotel breakfast. Found Pamela's online. Great choice. Had amazing scrambled eggs with cream cheese. Pancakes ultra thin and yummy. It is crowded all the time, but we only waited 10 minutes for a table. We liked it so much we ordered take out the next day
Boy howdy. This place lived up to the hype. The side potatoes were absolutely heavenly. So soft, amazing flavor, incredibly priced. The strawberry crepe pancakes and the croissant French toast were INCREDIBLE. Definitely recommend getting a few things to share. Vibe, staff, area was super fun. We ca
Awesome place- omelets are to die for, same with the potatoes. And, they are attentive to gluten issues and my GF love had no problems eating here. Only wish we lived closer bc it’s def worth coming back to.
One of the best breakfasts I've had... Everyone we spoke to told us to go there for breakfast in the strip. It's spacious with lots of street parking around. Stuffed crêpes with strawberries, brown sugar, sour cream, and whip cream and cooked to perfection. Eggs and perfect bacon... on the side! DIV
Everything you read about Pamela's is true. Food is amazing. The crepe-style pancakes have the crispiest edges that do the trick! Service is fast and friendly. Definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast when you're in Pittsburgh.
This place has it all. Cool little place with that old school look. Feels like you traveled back in time. Very friendly service and the food outstanding. However it does get busy so get there early!
My only complaint is that I didn't have time to simply relax and enjoy this Pittsburgh institution. Even though it's "only a diner", it is a delightful, bustling joint that serves the complete spectrum of the city, from business people to construction workers to politicians to parents to retirees an
Everything was delicious. Definitely get table pancakes to share. We got banana walnuts. Our first time here and I would definitely go back. Also get the hash if you like potatoes.
Food was delicious. Banana walnuts crepes were phenomenal. Service was also great! Love the atmosphere.
the best meal i had in pittsburgh (and throughout my midwest road trip) because it was satiating, tasty, and affordable. heard about pamela's diner from a friend and of course because obama has ate here. there's several locations in the city but we chose to visit the original strip location. at 11:
Currently writing this review inside the diner bc I just ate the most delightful apple walnut pancakes I have ever eaten in my entire life. I am a different person after these pancakes.
Visited for lunch, as we were already in the Strip shopping and one place we hadn't eaten on our bucket list of restaurants in the Strip because the lines are always too long when we are there, but the recent day we visited at lunch there were no lines and plenty of seating. Order: Patty melt with
Food was okay this trip. Our server had a bit of an attitude, almost like she didn't want to be there or maybe it was a bad day for her.
Pancakes here are so delicious. The middle is fluffy and the edges have a savory crispness. I also had the hash with sauerkraut (I can't remember what it was called) and loved it.
My second visit here on our weekend trip in Pittsburgh. A must visit! Crepe style hotcakes are delicious especially with the crispy ends. We always try to get there not too long after they open so we don’t have to wait for a table. Can’t wait for our next meal here when we come back.
