We ate there this past Monday and the service was great. People making sure you had no wants that needed to be taken care of. Food was really good too. Had the Filet and it was cooked perfectly at medium rare. When they tell you the sides are shareable believe them. One side will cover 2 people easily. Added bonus was they validate the parking too.

We have been to a few Ruth Chris locations in other states, and this is by far the best. The atmosphere is more upscale than the others that we have been to. The food was absolutely delicious. Seasoned just right and cooked just right. The service was impeccable 👌. The waitress made sure our wine and beer glasses were full. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience there!!

Ordered the 40 ounce bone in Tomahawk. Ordered it medium.. it came out rare... they fixed it quick like it never happened. I'm a big fan of Wagyu but the Prime grade was pretty dam good

Excellent service. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were generous and flavorful. My only complaint is that the steaks could have been seasoned a bit better. With how thick they are, it would have been better with more salt and spices, in my opinion.

I and my spouse were here for our anniversary celebration and it was a very pleasant experience. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Russell. We had the salads to start, Rid-eye stakes and chocolate sin dessert. The atmosphere was very quiet and pleasant. Want to applaud the chef for the best stake I’ve had in a while. Thanks everyone.

First time eating at Ruth's Chris for both my wife and I. Everyone was engaging and attentive to both our needs and the atmosphere. We each had a cocktail which were both excellent. The seared tuna was outstanding as an appetizer. The food was incredible, with the pork chop stealing the show. It was fantastic. The portion size of both entrees and sides was more than ample. David was a wonderful server and was happy to make recommendations in terms of both what to order and how much would be appropriate. Yes, as some mentioned, third Avenue is riddled with lanternflies, but this is not the fault of the restaurant. It's beyond worth the inconvenience of traversing the buggy sidewalk to enjoy a wonderful time and experience. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

Had dinner last night at Ruth’s Chris for a birthday dinner for my mother-in-law. She enjoyed her birthday. Reservations for 7 were accommodated. The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming. Checked in our coats. Food was tasty. Waitress was attentive. My husband enjoyed the stuffed lobster tail. We had an array of Items which included the porterhouse for 2, lobster mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and more. We brought in a cake and the waitress cleared the table following dinner and brought out candles and sliced the cake for each guest and then boxed up the leftovers. Following our $700+ group dinner, we asked the waitress to separate the checks and she informed us that she was NOT able to do so because it was a party of 5 or more🤔 but, she could however put different amounts on different credit cards at our request. We thought that was a little strange but it was fine. (Don’t worry lady - we would have generously tipped you either way😂) There is a liquor sales tax - for our items - the price was $27.75. Automatic gratuity for our group was $ 115.35. Parking off site. Parking can be validated at the right lot. Can see Ice-skating from the window.

Haven't been to Ruth Chris in years. Still a solid night out. Excellent service. Quality steaks and appetizers. Standards of service and food are still as high!

This was our 1st time dining here and the food was incredible! There wasn't one item that didn't taste delicious. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the bone-in ribeye. The crab cakes had large pieces of crab meat and were full of flavor. The steak was the best we've ever eaten. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouth and was also full of flavor. We shared the BBQ shrimp as an appetizer and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The sauce was absolutely amazing and our waiter suggested dipping bread in the left over sauce - sooo good! We also shared the creamed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, and the sweet potato bake. All three sides were delicious. It was my husband's birthday, so he was presented with the cheesecake and seasonal berries. It was creamy and delicious. The meal was worth every penny and we will definitely be returning for another special dinner.

The food was great. Steak literally melted in your mouth. Was delicious and will come back again. The only quirk was the service, the staff was friendly but a bit slow and a bit pricey. I guess it takes time to make the perfect steak. Lobster mac what out of this world.

First, Ruth’s Chris was very good. However, when I’m paying $100 - $150 per person I pretty much expect perfection. We had drinks added to our bill that we didn’t order as well as hollandaise on the side that we didn’t request. So for these reasons I docked the service. Ravioli, Filet Oscar, Chilean Seabass, and cheesecake were all good, not great. Overall a good experience but would recommend Del Frisco’s or Hyde Park over Ruth’s Chris.

Ruth's Chris is by far the best steak house that I have ever been to. This is the second Ruth's Chris location that I have been to, and I must admit that I truly didn't remember how remarkable their food was! The aroma that the steak puts off is simple indescribable! Even after downing calamari, shrimp cocktail and my 11 oz. filet, my mouth was still watering when I smelled someones steak being delivered to their table. I have nothing but good to say about Ruth's Chris. By far my favorite restaurant for dates! Good food + good experience = 5 star review!

EXCELLENT service!!! We chose to sit at the bar after a 11 hour drive so we could both wear our hats. (Hat hair, meh) Our bartender, Jessica was fabulous and very attentive. THE FOOD!!! Both of our Filets were ON POINT and perfectly cooked. We’ll definitely recommend to our friends and return here on our future visits.

Wife and I went for dinner. I got the crab cakes, she got the petite fillet. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The waiter, G, was fun and very helpful. Well worth it.

Good steakhouse, spacey and excellent steak. The red wine by the glass was actually very good CAlifornia wine. Good impression and quick service To me, Eddy V’s is still the reference restaurant in Pittsburgh downtown.
