The BEST in Pittsburgh! My husband and I have been coming to Bigham on an almost weekly basis for a few years. It’s our go-to because the food and the service are always a 10/10! Their Pittsburgh salad is literally the best in the city! Plus, it’s nice that their kitchen is open late and no matter what time it is, we can always grab dinner. Their weekend brunch is also amazing!
Anytime we have friends visit from out of town we always bring them here!
While it doesn’t change my 5-star review, the only thing I’d like to see is more vegetarian options on the menu. I was sad when they cut out the veggie wrap and also when they replaced the veggie burger with a beyond burger (thumbs down for the Franken-meat) but I am still always able to find something satisfying!
We will continue eating here for years to come!
Stopped here while visiting Pittsburgh and enjoyed the food so much that we went back again a day later while still in town. The dry rub wings we got were excellent. We also got the Memphis sweet, which were also very good but had a lot of sauce. The nachos were basic and not the best but would have been better, possibly if we got chili or some type of meat on them. The French onion soup was amazing the first day I got it, but the second time we went, it was all onions and barely any broth. Both times, the soup was just warm and not hot. We loved the cornbread the first day, but the second time, for some reason, it had a fishy aftertaste. We got a simple side salad, and that was good. We also tried the kale salad with the candied pecans and oranges in it, and that was good, too. Overall, the taste of everything was very good. Loud atmosphere since it's a bar and limited street parking. The raspberry tea was one of the best I have had. Would love to try more on the menu and would stop again if in the area!
Great wings with a bunch of flavors to choose from and fun trivia night on Thursday’s.. Taco Tuesdays are phenomenal!
Loved it. Jamie was our waitress and she was a damn delight. We were heading to a show and she got us fed and watered and out the door in no time flat.
Get the wings. We got the boneless and the meat was moist and juicy and the coating was very tasty. They've got a million sauces and dry rubs to choose from and the menu is funny but unhelpful. Just ask your waiter what to get and get that.
Get the mac and cheese, whichever variant speaks to you. They use cavatappi pasta, which is correct and the portion is generous.
If you're really jonesing for pierogi get the pierogi.
Skip the bleu cheese, it tasted off, and we like bleu cheese.
Skip the fried cauliflower and flatbread, they were fine but there's better stuff on the menu.
In and out for 3 people for under $70, with drinks and plenty of leftovers. I would've stayed and kept stuffing the wings in my face if we weren't already running late.
If I lived in the area this place would totally be my spot.
It's one of the best spots I've come across on a Google search of places to eat!!!!!! Delicious good and even more delicious drinks. Good atmosphere and vibes throughout. Only draw back was the parking, but I think if I was from Pittsburgh, it wouldn't be a problem lol This place is a definite must when we come back down this way!!!
Good Wings and fried pickles. The peach mule was amazing. Great costumer service. It was trivia night so the place was really loud and decided to go for a walk on Mt. Washington. Their wings are a must try for sure
this place is quality food, quality service, and quality prices. Their outside areas great so if you have to sit there, don’t feel bad. Wings are the way to go but they also make really good other things and they don’t try to be anything they aren’t. But what they are is a good restaurant in Bar.
Great wings with so many sauce choices and loaded fries with fresh jalapeños are bomb 💣 Awesome craft beer selection.
I was very impressed with the waitresses. They were all so nice and we could see they enjoyed their job. I brought my puppy with me and they were so accommodating. They even brought her a bowl of water. The food was great as well! Overall I was very happy with our experience.
The best wings In all of Pittsburgh! Amazing food in a very chill atmosphere. Out server Mel provided us with great service and made this a very welcoming experience. The food is a little pricey but well worth it. Will definitely be back.
Situated near the heart of Mt. Washington, this is an appealing and inexpensive eatery with a varied menu. Food is tasty, atmosphere relaxed and casual and the service is great. We were seated and served with a minimum wait time. Plenty of off street parking available. Highly recommend!
Cool place. Great beer selection. Wing sauce selection out the the wazoo
Jamie our server was just amazing.
This place has some chaotic energy but overall I had a nice time. They had lost our group's reservation and seemed very overwhelmed with Sunday brunch rush. The fried chicken and waffles was served with not fried chicken which was a little strange. Our server was super sweet and made sure we were taken care of.
The wings and good overall were delicious! We had the pretzels and beer cheese as an appetizer. The kids chicken tenders were very tasty too. The food came out fast. They have a nice outdoor patio.. inside was very loud (bar feeling). Quick drive away from the incline so it makes for a nice vending.
Stopped in after a long day of exploring on a Sunday evening. We were greeted and seated immediately although it was a busy night! The server, Julia, stopped by after she saw us waiting (it really had only been maybe 5 mins) and was apologetic for our wait. We weren’t bothered because we were looking over the menu. The Purple Flower cocktail was out of this world good!!! My husband and I shared the Pierogis appetizer- they were delish!! and the bbq sandwich. It was a hearty portion and we both left with happy, full tummies. This was probably the most reasonably priced meal we’ve enjoyed since we’ve been in the area.
The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because homemade chips didn’t taste fresh, it was very dark in the restaurant and bathrooms…which is cool for a mood but maybe a light each table would help. The bathroom just needed more lights all the way around. The music was so very loud! We love music and don’t mind it being turned up but it was beyond the level of bar music. It was full on dance club level loud. We sat on the right side of the bar with a wall between and closer to the door. I couldn’t imagine sitting in the bar area. There would have been no way to carry on a conversation.
This was our first time visiting and we absolutely loved it! The wait for our food wasn't long, the atmosphere was upbeat and enjoyable, and the food was great! The music was a little loud but other than that everything was perfect! I will definitely be eating here again!
Hostess was rude to us.
Food was good as it has been when I've had it delivered, but they did not serve us at the same time I had to watch him eat his plate before I even got my burger
Atmosphere seems a little confused I get it's Halloween time but it's like someone said let's put all these modern decorations up over what seems to be a historical looking tavern
My Whiskey sour was overpoured.
Been here a couple times over the last several weeks and both times it was a great experience. Wing night is a lot of fun and yueng is on special which is awesome! The bartenders are top notch, Christian was very attentive and also the other bartenders and the place was packed. Wing sauce is better than my last review from a year ago, their hottest sauce could still be way hotter! My Yueng draft was crisp which is excellent. I'll be back. Only critique I have is that more attention should be paid to the air conditioning and heat. Cold air was blasting and it was 70° outside when I was there. Luckily I had a fleece in my car.
