We went here for the first time. We were greeted quickly and enjoyed a drink at the bar. After our friend who had recommended the place arrived we enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent, attentive service. Our server had thorough knowledge about wine pairings. The apple tart was a tasty finish to our meal. Upon leaving we were thanks for coming and we plan to return.

From the moment I walked in till the time I left was a wonderful experience . The wait staff was very attentive as well as the owner making rounds and checking to make sure everything was good. My wife had a mixed drink off the list and I had two different glasses of wine, all were excellent. We ordered an appetizer which was cuddle fish is squid ink with polenta which seemed odd but I felt adventurous. It was excellent and I would highly recommend. Our entrées arrived quickly, with just the right amount of time between courses. Mt wife had the salmon which she was highly satisfied with and she is not a fan of fish normally. I had the chef seafood special of the evening, another great choice. All in all, a great evening. We will definitely be returning!

Dinner was absolutely outstanding. I have a grandmother who has some disabilities and I requested a ADA friendly place to sit. Close to the door near the restroom) and they more than accommodated. Food was wonderful the drinks were great and our server was an absolute doll. She lives in West Virginia. But I conduct a lot of business and things here in the city. So I’ll be back soon. Thank you so much, Jen

Part of the Lawrenceville revival, this place is a gem. Don’t expect your stereotypical Italian restaurant decor. Instead the owner, Franco, has marvelously envisioned a modern, chic, upscale atmosphere. The food is exquisite, unmistakably Italian, with fresh pasta made in-house. The attentive staff and the aforementioned Franco provided a warm and welcoming experience. While I didn’t imbibe during my dinner this visit, I seriously want to try out the wine dispenser next time. Just another cool little detail. Highly recommended! Bravo, Mr. Braccia! Bravo!

I love this place, we go at least 4 times a month. I fell in love with the pork belly sandwich. As the menu have evolved, I now enjoy the porcheta. Every time we come we are surprised by the soup. It's always different and always outstanding. I wouldn't change out Tuesday date lunches here for anything.

Could not have been more pleased with our entire dining experience at Senti. Our first time here, but we will certainly go back again and again. My husband tried the pasta with wild boar ragu - excellent! All of us in our party had something different, and we all shared with each other. We also had the cheese tray as an appetizer. Pasta is incredibly tender, gnocci melts in your mouth. Everything from the service to desserts was superb! Bravo, Senti!

We’ve visited Senti twice, and had enjoyed our dining experience. The place is classy and bright, and also got excellent food and cocktail. Their menu changes, but our top recommendations are: arancini , lamb chop, duck breast, and orecchiette.

Senti is a little Pittsburgh gemstone! The cuisine is fine Italian food like you'd get on a cobblestone street outside of Milan. The atmosphere is peaceful, the service is excellent, and the prices are good. I love the white table cloths, the food made with fresh authentic ingredients, and am especially grateful for the gluten free pasta. I had the most peppery, savory, cheese mouth watering penne and ate every bite: Pasta Cacio e Pepe. You can tell when food is made with passion.

My boyfriend and I went to Senti for an anniversary dinner. The food was amazing, but nothing was better than the service. Our waiter (Shendo, apologies if I am misspelling), was so charming, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely be going back for more special occasions!

A surprising 5-star in Lawrenceville, as it's appearance from the outside suggests a stodgy and predictably formulaic white-table-cloth experience. That is NOT the case here; in fact it's hip and chic inside and the food is inventive and very well executed. The wine program is entirely approachable and attention is thoughtfully paid toward pairings, unique tastes and an all around excellent experience. Not needlessly expensive either; two of us enjoyed a fabulous 2 hour meal with drinks for around $175. Nice parking lot immediately opposite the restaurant too. Worth a visit, ideally after dark.

I wanted a nice place to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends. My one friend suggested this place. I was a little skeptical at first but decided to say yes. Leading up to the event, I only heard great things about this place from various friends and colleagues. I am happy to say they did not do this place justice! The food was delicious and amazing. The drinks, appetizers, and entrees all complimented each other. I hear they change their menu option to stay fresh and give you an one of a kind experience. They hit the mark on the nose. We are in the season of Autumn and my dishes reminded me of just that. The chef personally came out to greet us and not like Catherine Zeta Jones in "No Reservations!" Lol..great movie btw. But honestly It felt like that environment. The server was young but she knew her menu and made great suggestions. I will frequent this place for other special occasions and I will recommend it to others. 10 stars!

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the city, consistently great food & drink pairings, made better each time due to their staff. Ask for Zach, and listen to his wine suggestions!

This was our first visit to Senti. We chose Senti after reading about the restaurant through our Marriott Bonvoy membership. Our son is a CIA-trained chef who has worked for celebrity chefs in the US and abroad, so we are spoiled and picky when it comes to dining out. My wife and I are also accomplished home cooks with Italian roots. We are always looking for that one really great Italian restaurant that is both elegant and reminds you of your nonna's kitchen when you taste the food. Senti hit that mark. We started with appetizers, a mixed greens salad and the mussels with spicy pork sausage, sweet peppers, fennel, white wine and accompanied with grilled Italian homestyle/crusty bread. The mussels were awesome, coming in a very large portion that could have been a meal in itself. Although the mixed greens salad presentation looked good on the surface and tasted very good with a nice dressing, the occasional encounter of a piece of soggy, water-spoiled leaves unfortunately left a bad first impression with us. We alerted the waiter and were not charged for the salad. We ordered a pasta entre, roasted squash ravioli served with brown butter sage sauce and diced granny smith apples... superb! We wanted to test the house red sauces, so we shared a side dish of polpette in marinara sauce: lovely, light and perfectly seasoned meat balls with a great hand-prepared sauce. I ordered the brasato di manzo: short ribs braised in red wine served with red pepper compote and creamy polenta made with parmesan stock and prosciutto... fork tender and wonderful. I also ordered a side dish of the house-made gnocchi, but with pomodoro, not ragu sauce. The smooth, simple sauce topped with fresh basil was exquisite. We each had a glass of wine, an Abruzzo chardonnay and a Barbera d'Asti, both reasonably priced with lovely bouquets and finish. To finish we shared the chocolate bread pudding with coffee creme anglaise. Wow! Senti exceeded our expectations. Bravo, Chef Scolari!

Dishes always exceed expectations. Service was a bit slow on this particular night but the quality of the food made up for it.
