We had another delightful dinner at Pork and Beans Saturday evening. We sat outside facing the streets of downtown while enjoying a delicious meal and drinking our craft beers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable with the menu and helped guild us on our meat choices...loved all of them! We had smoked meat loaf, pastrami pork belly, beef brisket and a side of burnt beans! We look forward to our next visit to try more on their menu!!!

I had the pulled pork which melted in your mouth with great flavor and my husband had the ribs(I tried a small bite and it was really good as well) he was very pleased. We both had the side of potato salad which was amazing. We also had a order of the deviled eggs (my husband loved them--me they were good just not my taste but good) Our waiter was excellent- Atmosphere was good. Nice and relaxing. Prices to me are pretty much in range with other restaurants. Will definitely go back & recommend to others.

We each got the blue plate special so we could try different things. All of the food was fantastic (especially the collard greens), it was served quickly, and our server was awesome and answered all of our questions. The atmosphere is loud and social, so if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate evening, you may want to go someplace else. However, if you want delicious meat, and yummy sides, this is the place.

We loved our meal at Pork & Beans!!!! The wait (only about 10 minutes, lol) for our food was excruciating!!!! Our service was great from the moment we walked in. The host staff was extremely pleasant, the wait staff professional, knew the menu, and made recommendations that were good. The drinks were absolutely yummy and we wanted to try all of them....and then the food came...smh....Beef ribs, Mac & Cheese, Pork & Beans, and rolls.....soooooooooo gooooooood!!!!!! Keep up the good service & The great food!

We were in town for my 57th birthday, in the city of Heinz 57 and we went to Pork & Beans for a couple of cocktails and apps before dinner. What a beer selection! Hand crafted cocktails made with quality ingredients--sooo tasty! Deviled Eggs, Pimento Cheese Bruschetta and Piggy Sticks were some of the delicious apps we shared as well as crazy good Old Fashions and a Black Manhattan. We got to have an Imperial Stout from Rhinegeist Brewing from the only keg in the city. Incredible! It was a great start to a birthday evening.

2nd time I have been there and no disappointment here. Service was great, food and drinks amazing. Definitely a must go if you're in downtown Pittsburgh!

Pork shoulder was very good- moist and tender. Sauces also very good. Fries decent, almost extra crispy for those that may like them that way, but not really to my liking, but made tolerable by soaking them in the tasty sauces. Prices on the side dishes seemed high but most other items seemed reasonably priced. My server was very nice and checked often if all was OK or if I needed anything else, so that's a plus too. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

The best barbecue I’ve had so far in Pittsburgh. They offered tons of beer options for a great price. The brisket was very tender and flavorful. The pimento mac and cheese was awesome! Would definitely recommend to get as a side. For dessert I ordered the bourbon brown sugar pie and it was so sweet and tasty. Only thing that would have made the pie better was if it was heated. Overall, was a great time and I will be back.

Sarah was an amazing, fun, attentive, knowledgeable server. Helped us figure out the menu and what to order in what quantities as we'd never been there. Food: phenomenal & without the need to cover in sauces. Drinks: creative delicious combinations.

Fantastic restaurant downtown by Olive or Twist. Great bartenders and food. The interior is a cool layout with a lively vibe. Try the pimento cheese with a whole sleeve of Ritz crackers. The catfish sliders, phenomenal. Lastly, the Mac & cheese is like eating a thick malted shake. Delicious!

Very cool and casual place with awesome pork, beef and chicken. Love the crab fritters and dirty fries which was topped with BBQ sausage, cheese, jalapeños, onions and scallions. We ordered 5 types of meats: pulled pork, pork belly pastrami, beer can chicken, and beef tri-tip (the last was my personal fave). Very good beer selection - just pick 4 to create your own flight. Service was pretty good. Men's and Ladies restrooms have a funky set up.

A sister restaurant to one which was already my favorite in PGH (Meat and Potatoes), Pork and Beans has an interior with much more subdued lighting (save the neon for the restrooms!), a much more rustic flavor (your bill comes in a literal steel can of pork and beans for instance), and food every bit as flavorful and wonderful as I had hoped. When we came, there was a bit of a wait for the food - but it was worth it. We had drinks that were akin to a summer time freeze pop made into an alcoholic slushy, and sinfully delicious and hot pork rinds (seriously, give them a try!) before the main course. You probably don't need to add on sides to whatever you get, unless you're sharing it family style - which is an encouraged method! Not a thing was bad about what I shared with friends here. We'll be going back again when we're in town, for sure.

We stopped here to eat before we went to see Shen Yun on March 7, 2019. It was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday night before a pens game, but we were there early. We did not have a reservation, but due to the early hour and there were only 3 of us it did not apper to be an issue. The food was all amazing as well as the ice cream sandwiches! The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We will be coming back again soon!

Great use of the space. Some shared seating, some separate seating. The food was fantastic. Ordered the Pork rinds, the pork belly, mac and cheese, and sweet tea. Every thing was well prepared and delicious. The staff is fantastic and well knowing. They don't rush and are sure to check that everything at the table is stocked. I will be back.

Same owners as Meat and Potatoes, Tako, and Butcher and the Rye. Mouth watering barbeque (and this from a girl who doesn't really like barbeque). Sauce selection was great. There were families in the back. Expect picnic style tables with a laid back, hipster vibe. Matthew, our bartender was good company and super knowledgeable about everything on (and off) the menu. We would definitely go back!

3.5 stars would be more appropriate. Our BBQ was ok the stars are totally for their sauces which they have 4 available and were all really good. Brisket was good. Pork belly not so much. Service was ok. Drinks were good. Didn’t feel like it meet up with all the hype but I’d give it another go round next time I’m in the city

I went to Pork & Beans on a night out after a conference day in Pittsburgh. You can find typical American fast food. Also available is a wide variety of drinks. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They helped us on the way out to order a taxi back to our hotel. The interiors of this place are quiet different and outstanding.

Biggest, most delicious wings I think I've ever had. Will definitely bring friends when I'm back in town! Fun, energetic atmosphere in the restaurant too.

Stopped in the Pork and Beans for lunch during the Arts Festival. Very cool vibe. Had the Brisket sandwich and many sides. The Burnt Ends Beans were great. Not a fan of the Mac and Cheese but everything else was great. They also serve Leona's Ice Cream sandwiches so they get bonus points for that.

Entrees are big portions, ideal for sharing. Their side dishes can turn out to be a great meal if you have a smaller appetite. Overall, the food is delicious. Drinks: you can choose from the menu or go off menu. Great bartenders. They'll make u anything to match your flavor profile. Fantastic cocktails. Friendly atmosphere. Recommended for big groups or friend get-togethers as the sitting is very conducive to it with big tables and open space. Good for mingling. Informal setting to very casual. Typical noise level for a bar. Convenient location for downtown grub.

Had the brisket slider and the pulled pork slider with the burnt end beans. Both sliders were delicious, with the brisket being a huge standout. But the beans stole the show - they're essentially addictive. Beer selection was ok, but 95% IPAs is not ideal.

Great menu. The smoked meat and sides were already prepared so food was served very fast! Great selection of beers on tap! Great service. We got the chorizo nachos and briscuit, did not disappoint!
