Mad Mex Shadyside - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Nice staff & huge portions. Great atmosphere for a casual/ mid-scale Mexican place. It's not cheap, but you'll get two meals out of every order!
Being a fan of the frozen drinks, I was sucked in by the menu options. Unfortunately, the frozen drinks here are more on the tart side, whereas I prefer sweet, but that didn't stop me from finishing it off. The bartender was great and despite how busy she was, always checked back in to see if sh
lots of veggies options and good flavors across the board, avodilla is good i will come back for sure nice surprise to find good food like this service takes some time since it’s busy but nice staff
Ordered take out- great, filling, meals for the price- had the quesadilla with a side of beans & rice with cheese. Plan to stop in again!
Big thanks to MAD 🌵MEX! Super menu. Great visual atmosphere! Super clean restaurant, friendly staff and plenty of unique items on the menu! BIG THANKS TO MAURY for making our first dining experience here great!
i’ve been visiting this establishment for 5 years and just realized they offer Brunch on Sunday’s 11-3pm. Went with the Chicken & Waffle and have absolutely no regrets. Looking forward to trying more of the Brunch menu’s options.
We're just driving through Pittsburgh, have never eaten anything from here and I'm so glad that we chose to stop here! Our waitress was lovely, the building and decor was really cool, and the music was good. The atmosphere was 10/10. For any vegetarians, the crispy tofu is amazing! I really recommen
One of the best Mexican places in Pittsburgh. Open late.Food is always fresh and delicious. Try the gobleritto around Thanksgiving and the holiday burrito.. both AMAZING
Amazing Mexican restaurant in Pittsburgh, great location, nice design, delicious food, fantastic list of margaritas and tequilas 🍻 very helpful and super friendly staff. Exponential service!! Plus this Mexican restaurant bar has a nice patio which is dog friendly!
Artsy Uber cool Tex Mex restaurant and bar with good selection of microbrew beers. First time for me— square burrito with choice of protein pick and they had portobello as a protein choice—Yes! Paired it with a bowl of chickpea chilli washed down with beer and vodka Bloody Mary. Yeah baby how mad ca
Amy was an amazing bartender and super friendly. She made sure I always had water to go with my beer. The crab quesadilla was amazing and I'll have to stop back in to get those again. Great experience for my first time back in years.
Happy hour drink specials on point! Good music, lighting, and selection of seats. I've been three times, and the service was ok.. The last time I went, the service was terrible... slow and spotty, we waited forever for our food, which btw is pretty good (great guacamole!), and then someone brought i
The best Mexican restaurant I have ever been been to. Also the best mocktail I have had, it recreated the flavor profile of Tequila. Strongly recommend eating here. All the staff were very nice and professional.
Too loud inside, but we went at 3pm & got a table on the front window. Very pleasant, less noise. Had their Thanksgiving style huge turkey Burrito. Looked unappealing, but tasted great. Had half for leftovers.
No complaints here. Food was delicious and not too expensive. Service was speedy, and the burrito I got was HUGE. The atmosphere is really nice, especially when they open the big windows up front. This was my first visit, but I've had a lot of friends go on dates here, so you know it's gotta be a ni
Absolutely delicious ! Love how their food isn't too salty. Quality is great overall. And their chips and salsas taste SO FRESH, not to mention their amazing happy hour offers! We had to wait for quite a while to get seated, but once seated, service was great
