Absolutely divine ice cream, made with all natural ingredients! Portion sizes are smaller than other ice cream places though. The lines can get long but the wait is worth it! šŸ˜‹šŸ¦

Best homemade ice cream spot in Pittsburgh.... by far! Everything is wonderful the flavors, the homemade waffle cones, the cherries!

Their homemade ice cream and waffle cones are the best in the Burgh. They offer a delicious product along with great service. The lines do get long but trust me itā€™s worth the wait.

The pistachio fig with the vanilla is delicious! Add a bag of waffle cone chips and it's the perfect dessert!

Mine and the kids favorite. Every time I go I think I know what I want until the moment I get to the front of the line I taste test one or two of Chads new recipes and I end up getting 2 or three different scoops. Best ice cream ever.

As I promised to them at the event, I'm reviewing the vegan Brownie batter ice cream. It's easy because it was delicious and I really appreciated vegan option at the outside event at Spirit here in Pittsburgh. Only one thing is missing to perfection. It's the option sweetened with only dates or coconut sugar or maple syrup. Just some less processed sugar or monk fruit etc. But that's just a side note to make possible to eat even more of it...I really enjoyed full double size of that chocolate Brownie batter flavour, it was decadent, creamy, coconutty, rich, fancy and melting smoothly in mouth. Thumbs up and thank you for making sure (that not only) vegans can enjoy ice cream.

I have tried pistachio ice cream all around Pittsburgh and I think Millie's has the best (if you're looking for real pistachio and not that fake neon green kind!) I like that they rotate flavors often and there is always a more subtle flavor in the mix, like today it was lemon (I was pleasantly surprised they had it as an ice cream, not sorbet). My only criticism is that sometimes I find this ice cream to be too salty depending on the day, which can be overwhelming after one scoop.

The ice cream at this spot was standout. I really enjoyed the waffle cone as well. The ice cream was really flavorful and wasnā€™t too thick or too soft, it was just right. It was super enjoyable and I would definitely go back for some more!

Very good. Very Pittsburgh-y. Definitely visit. Many standard flavors. Usually some fun, unusual flavors. Sugar or waffle cone options. The GOAT was goat cheese and rhubarb swirl. It was really savory and surprisingly delicious. Pistachio was better than anyone in our party thought pistachio should be. Best chocolate is an accurate description of that flavor.

Delicious! I got peppermint brownie on a waffle cone. The waffle cone was crispy but fresh, the ice cream had just the right amount of peppermint flavor ratio with the chunks of chewy delicious brownie. My husband got a dairy free mint chip shake. He swears it tasted just like regular ice cream and he loved it. My brother in law got a vanilla shake. He said it was the best vanilla shake he had ever had. The location itself was clean and cute. There werenā€™t a lot of tables inside, but itā€™s in a nice neighborhood for walking around once you get your cone. They also have to go pints. They even have a sundae box. šŸ˜€

We hired the Millie's Truck Girls for our wedding and it sure was a HIT! Our guests loved the ice cream and the staff was so sweet! The entire booking experience was super simple and easy - which any bride can appreciate (thank you Kate and Kayleigh!)! We can't wait to use Millie's in the future!

I am in love with Millieā€™s Ice Cream and so happy to see it in the Market District grocery stores. I havenā€™t had a bad flavor yet. Lavender is my absolute favorite!!! Recently started putting the vegan banana foster on pancakes and it is soooo good! You have to get the fresh waffle cone!

By far the best icecream in all of Pittsburgh, no questions asked! There are so many options and the location is perfect for a post-dinner dessert (or while you wait for Noodlehead next door!), with tons of options right around off of Highland Ave. Depending on the time of day you go, as well as the weather conditions, there may be a massively long line to contend with! Just a heads up if your planning on going, but absolutely worth the wait no doubt!!

Incredible ice cream and sorbet with unusual and tasty flavors like beet-white chocolate ice cream and pear-port wine sorbet. Getting your generous scoops in a home-made waffle cone is definitely worth the additional $1 upcharge. They will split the flavors in your cone (even the Jr. Size) if you can't choose just one. Flavor choices change regularly, although there are some that are always available (Chocolate & Vanilla included). Very cute and cozy shop with outside seating available both in front and in back. Open most nights until 10.

This a solid ice cream parlor with a decent interior. The pricing is not too bad but the quality is pretty great. Chad's Vanilla is one of the better vanilla ice creams I have ever had. Another personal favorite is the bourbon maple. They usually have quite a few flavors and have different specials. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for ice cream in Shadyside!

Iā€™m allergic to peanuts and mango and they gave me fresh scoops from the ice cream tub and it tasted amazing. Would give it more stars if I could, amazing stuff!

One of the top spots in Pittsburgh for Ice Cream and Milkshakes. I prefer the milkshakes as they have a better consistency than your average. The variety of flavors that Millieā€™s rotate depending on the time of year makes it easy to always stop in to try something else

Great ice cream. One of my favorite. I will be on a strict diet most of the time and this is the place I run into Everytime I have a cheat meal. My favorite being their Vietnamese coffee on a waffle cone. Price is reasonable and you will get to choose from a dozen variety of flavours I think.

We stopped at Millie's to celebrate my sister receiving her Masters degree. Not only did Millie's have three different options of vegan ice cream but they made the whole experience extra special and memorable. Highly recommend!
