I really really like this place before a Pens game. It's a cool, clean, moderately priced restaurant .... the service is always very spot on, and the beer selection is never disappointing. My only complaint is that the menu is sometimes too ..... I dunno ... hip? Elegant? I really don't know how to describe it. If you're a simple person with simple tastes, it will take a little bit to get through the menu. The special last night was brisket tacos which were remarkable ..... and their fries are awesome .... ok ... I just talked myself into giving them a 5.

Limited menu but never had a bad meal! Everything's tasty! Usually eat at the bar with Dean, the bartender and have a wonderful experience!

After staying a night in the DoubleTree in Downtown Pittsburgh, I came here for breakfast, as it’s in the DoubleTree. Service was great! They have a nice breakfast menu, offering the typical (boring!) breakfast items, as well as interesting items, like their omelet, but their breakfast sandwich was outstanding! Looked beautiful and tasted great. Potatoes were nicely done too.
I enjoyed my visit for breakfast…. But according to previous review, your mileage may vary!
Stopped in on our way to the Pens game last night. The food was absolutely amazing! Would highly suggest people check it out. I had a whiskey sour and their signature steak sandwich, both were excellent!
Our food was excellent... between the 4 of us, we had: The Salmon, Wedge Salad, Grilled Cheese and Pierogis...all great...enough said.
Great atmosphere! We were watching football games while eating good food. The food came quickly, and the wait staff was great. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I have eaten here twice, and both times, the food has been amazing! I took the food to my room and each time the food was very hot, well prepared and very delicious! The staff that I dealt with was very pleasant and very helpful!
Best food in downtown pittsburgh! The saloon and the grilled cheese are to die for! Always craving nice low grille!
Hotel restaurant bar. The wings were great! The chicken wrap was really good! Dressing was better than some. The service was very friendly. However, we were not offered beverages or a cocktail menu. Prices were just a bit more than most like it, and fries reminded me of steak and shake. Compared to similar, like Primantis, I would say going back would only be because of location or time restrictions, not because of the desire to return.
We sat outside on a beautiful evening.

I never saw steak tips so large. My friend had the salmon salad and it was perfect!

Passing through Pittsburgh, we ate dinner and breakfast at Bigelow's restaurant. The shrimp, beet salad, and omlets were so delicious. Everything tastes so fresh and great 👍 wish I could come back!
A-MA-ZING evening with our large group for dinner!! The staff was FANTASTIC. Our server, Tiffany, was top notch and made great recommendations for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their selections and we were made to feel right at home as we celebrated a birthday and a weekend with our team!!

While staying at the Doubletree for a show in Pittsburgh, we didn’t have much time so decided to eat in the restaurant. It was extremely busy but the host went out of his way to find us a table. The food and service was fantastic.
Love Bigelow Grille. Amazing staff, and amazing food. We have eaten here several times when staying at the Doubletree in Pittsburgh and going to the Penguins games.
Next stop on my CityPaper Burger Month journey. Bigelow Grille, Inside the Doubletree Hotel, downtown. The offering, Sheer Burger: lamb burger with tomato chutney, arugula, and whipped feta cheese. All I can say is, Amazing! Enjoy!
