Had not been to Vincent's since they were in the OLD building (up where Olive Garden is now, still just off the Green Tree exit). I feared the worst. It looked new, it seemed different, it had a deck and it looked...well...not like the OLD Vincent's which I dearly loved back in the 80's. This was our "go to" place when we set up at ALL BUT ONE baseball card show that was held at the Green Tree Marriott. So after I got over my bout of "everything is new", I was pleasantly surprised that the pizza was basically as I remember it (being really good!) and the Antipasto salad could have been a meal in itself. Pardon me a second while I continue to rant about every pizza place that calls BANANA peppers HOT peppers! They are NOT! That was the only problem I had with my return to Vincent's after 20+ years. I guess I may be spoiled by Vito's in Clarksburg, WV who use REAL hot peppers on their pizza, but banana peppers just don't cut it for me any more (neither do jalapenos). Anyway, it was overall GREAT dining experience. Staff was nice and I heard one of the funniest lines I have heard out of a "regular human being" in a while as I sat there eating. Look forward to many more returns here! The OLD Vincent's would have gotten a 4.5 and my recent visit to the "newer" location gets docked .5 for the banana peppers. All-in-all, though, you are not going to go wrong here!!!
One more time. This was our third visit to vincent's. we're trying really hard to like it. the food is good enough-the chicken and dumpling soup was awesome, the thin crust pizza is really good! the service will make you crazy!!! they ALWAYS forget to bring you something you ordered--but they don't forget to put it on your check. a group of us were there the other day and everyone got there salads except two---after a LONG wait---one salad finally came and it looked 100% better than everyone elses's at the table---did they clean out the fridge for everyone else and then start over? when we asked about the other salad she offered to pack it up to go!?!?!? it took the wiatress forever to clear the table--we actually helped her stack and clear the plates or we would still be there waiting for the check!! we want to go back--they need better help!!
Best service I have had in a long time! The wait staff here is amazing. I got cheese tortellini in a cream sauce and it was exceptional! However My friend ordered the baked ziti and was not a big fan of it.
Return of the King. During the 90s, Vincents was at (or near) the top of the list when it came to pizza and hoagie places in Pittsburgh. Then during the 2000s the quality steadily declined, the pizzas were made with lesser ingredients and the portions withered away to nothing. After a renovation in 2009 and a renewed focus on the existing restaurant (rather than auxilary locations in PNC Park and Scott Twp.), the pizza and hoagies have returned to their original glory.
The "Colt" and "Vincent's Late Night Snack" are fantastic sandwiches that combine massive amounts of sandwich meats that are rarely seen together in other sandwiches. The pasta selections are certainly above average in price and content, but prepare to pay accordingly for the privilege. Finally, the pizzas are generously topped with high quality cheese and the pepperoni are the small, spicy type rather than the larger, blander type that were being used during the 2000s. Vincent's, its good to have you back.

This place is a bi-weekly staple for my fiance and I. We even picked vincent's for our rehearsal dinner. The staff is very welcoming. We have never had a bad experience there. Great place to watch a game
Average. Entrees are neither overwhelming nor over the top delicious. The pizza deliciously crisp and aromatic being well worth a visit.
The pizza and salads ate really good. Actually i've never had anything here i didn't like. Good, friendly service... A consistently good place.
I used to go to a lot of Pittsburgh Pirates baseball games. Over the past several years that has subsided and I spend my money patronizing Pittsburgh's restaurants. Several years ago when I first started going to Pirates games regularly, Vincents of Greetree used to be a vendor in the left field corner of the ball park. Now, I never personally stopped in there, but I did see several pizzas leave the mini-restaurant under the left field bleachers, so I assumed that was what they served. Apparently it is not the case. Recently TasteBudA and I went to Greentree Borough to try out Vincents of Greentree. Located just off the Parkway West across from the WDVE building, we were welcomed and I found that Vincent's is much more than just pizza. I got the "Colt," an Italian hoagie with pepperoni, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, onion, and house dressing. The hoagie was toasted well and I couldn't finish it after my plentiful house salad, I had as a precursor to the sandwich. Pepperoni adds some pi
Good salad. Great service! Options of inside or outside (weather permitted) sitting. Or, they have a bar.
Meal specs: Grilled chicken salad
The lettuce was fresh & crisp. The grilled chicken was hot & gristle-less. It isn't large pieces of fresh chicken but it's better than some. The veggies are large slices that was also fresh & tasty. The steak fries were hot & crispy (which is the only way that I'll eat them)! The ranch dressing pairs nicely with it. It was simple & good! The items that should be hot were hot & what should be cold was cold.
Bon appétit 😋
Iconic place. I went for a pizza. It was ok. It's not my personal cup of tea as the sauce is more of a tomato paste taste, and I like a sweeter sauce. It was prepared well and served hot. The cheese was good quality, and there was minimal grease. The place itself is a bit dated and, as such, gives the impression of dirty. Took the pizza to go for that reason.
Awesome little find! Recommended at our hotel. Not only was it close but the food was delicious and the servers were fun and fast and kept our drinks refilled. 2 hungry kids and mom and dad were very happy. Gnocchi delish, "small" calzone was huge!, Alfredo Tomasina awesome and the baked rigatoi very cheesy and perfect. Can't wait for another chance to visit.
Food was extremely fresh tasting.for service so so .it was crowded ,everything came out all at once.you can see they were overwhelmed. But again food was great.
Ive enjoyed Vincents for many years. The food is good and fresh. This time the restaurant tables werent wiped down, floor cleanup was needed, menus had sticky stuff on them. I still enjoyed my meal and hope its better when i return again.
Pizza was very good!! We personally preferred this pizza over Fiori's Pizza which we had last night. The spaghetti and meatballs were amazing!! The indoor dining is small but they also have a covered patio.
Vincent’s has been one of our family’s favorites for decades. We started coming here after tennis lessons back in the early 90’s.
The wedding soup here is excellent but the real stars are the fried zucchini and the stuffed peppers. Both are absolute home runs.
We were staying at the hotel nearby. Stopped by for lunch-- had the provolone cheese with marinara appetizer.... OMG, it was divine!! Pizza was delicious, wedding soup was good. Service could be better, and the A/C was not working... Which made for a stuffy room until windows were finally opened up 😁
If you like cheesy, hot gooey pizza fresh out of the pizza oven this is your place! The zucchini is delicious too. Friendly staff and a fun atmosphere keep me coming back.
Fun place. Small, but there was no wait.
We had pizza and salad. Wonderful fresh crust, pleasant sauce, not acidy, generous toppings
Place was super busy. Service was very friendly, but they were very packed. Smaller sized place. I enjoyed the food. I got the pasta mafaldo.

Not the best lasagna that I've ever had.. the sauce was salty and I tend to like sweet sauce. But it was still good....
Sat outside with a nice breeze after a 5-mile hike. Loved the white pizza and meatball hoagie. The server was wonderfully friendly and attentive even though we were the only ones outside. I'll be back!
Very good pizza. I had the Bianca with spinach, onions, mushrooms, and zucchini. The cannoli was very good, too.
Loved it. Sad to learn that Vince is among the angels. Service was great. Food was awesome. We always stop when we're in the Burgh.
