J & J's Family Restaurant - Pittsburgh - Photo album

I love this kind of atmosphere in small restaurants with a long history. Where there is no pathos and glamor. Delicious food as if cooked at home. And where the staff is well acquainted with each of its clients. Was here on a Sunday for lunch. This restaurant was not prepared for so many visitors.
Have not been to the store in person yet but I order breakfast every weekend from here and it is delicious and perfect every time. Always hot cooked correctly and always comes with the correct utensils and condiments without having to ask. Very happy to support this dream today in the past and ong
If you're looking for a friendly neighborhood spot with good comfort food then you found the place. The staff are efficient and friendly and the food is tasty. Don't come if you're watching calories because everything is so tempting and delicious. We especially liked the grits and the burgers
The BEST place for some real home cooked food. Makes u feel like your mom's in the kitchen. Breakfast all day, everyday. They don't know how to make bad meals. Great value too. Worth the 2 and a half hour drive. Love them!!
Absolutely delicious! Passing through the area and came across this wonderful restaurant. We ordered 3 grilled chicken wraps, the bourbon burger, club sandwich with fries, soup of the day which I can't remember the name but it was delicious 😋 EVERY SINGLE THING was amazing!!! What a gem of a restau
Today was our first visit. We chose this place over the more trendy locations on Mt. Washington because it looked homey and welcoming. The service was phenomenal, the food was perfect and there was enough for us to take half of our meals home for tomorrow. Everything was just as we expected. And
This place.... is truly angelic. The grits, potato pancakes, and corned beef hash are all the best you can get in Pittsburgh, hands down. I love this place. Every time I eat here it feels like the first time, it's so good. You can taste the love in this food.
Their Honey Buffalo Eggs Benedict is phenomenal, and they also (when you ask nicely enough since it's not on the menu) do a Reuben Omelette which is one of the best I've had anywhere, especially in Pittsburgh where it's far better than Ritter's Diner (which is the only other Pittsburgh area diner I'
Service was very good. Food was served quickly and it was hot. Portions were good and tasted good. Coffee refills were a little slow. Menu could use a little refresh as far as layout, but that didn't take away from the food or service. The decor could be different, but again, food was good.
Really great breakfast spot a little outside of downtown Pittsburgh but it’s def worth the trip there! The food was very delicious and had a very homey feel to the place, plus their pancakes are super yummy! And after you are done, go down the street and you’ll get a spectacular view of the city!
