As a huge fan of Piada, I was happy to find that they were in Pittsburgh. This location is spacious and the food is good as usual. The student discount is also running here, so the value is amazing for students as you can get a bowl with a protein and a drink for $8.
The place is usually not busy, but sometimes service is slow for some reason. Location is great though, next to Pitt and CMU campus.
They are always so quick to prepare the food! I love getting the chef's favorite wrap and the diablo bowl. Their food options are so delicious! Especially if you add the sweet red peppers! In person service is a bit rushed but it's all worth it.
I like how they have vegetarian options, and today when I went in, they really made sure no meat touched my food! They changed their gloves without me even asking!
Ever since Joe Mama's went under, I've really been missing a classic no-nonsense red sauce pasta joint. This is not that, but I'll gladly accept a solid bowl of noodles at a decent price. Al dente, just how I like 'em, although the flip-side was that I should've gotten more sauce because the default amount was a bit weak. The protein add-ons could offer better value, as well, but the noodle portion is great and there's free veggie add-ons for extra bulk.
Pesto with grilled steak is really delicious, highly recommend.

Love this place. The crispy chicken wrap is the best if you are looking for a sandwich. Love the ability to choose what you want and have it made fresh. We use them a lot for catering at our office and have always been impressed with the delivery service.
Stopped in for lunch with a small group. Food and service were excellent. Ethan, Kaleb, and Tevin took care of us and walked us through the ordering process. Will go back next time I'm in town visiting my daughter at Pitt.
Piada introduces many new dishes and successfully offers something different from its neighbors. It's a Chipotle-style setup with a fully customizable, open kitchen counter. There's lot of options and the sauces and flavors make things taste unique. Dishes use interesting assortment of veggies, herbs, etc. There's interesting side options too (sweet potatoes!). It can be a little pricey but the ingredients are high quality and prepared well.
The atmosphere is very well put together. Spacious and stylish, it's a treat to dine in. I was especially impressed by the lighting on the tables, which was very calm yet well lit at the same time.
The service is good (the cooks are hard at work) but it's a little confusing ordering when you're not familiar with the menu. The kitchen is so active that's it hard keeping track of who is serving you at any given time. I hope they improve this and I'll be glad to give 5 stars.
Food service was absolutely amazing. Brittany what is the best part of the experience with such a large order. She crushed it and made us all smile with how delicious it really was kudos to the staff of Piada Italian Street Food!!
jolie was great! she put a smile on my face and gave me some great pasta. i hope my kids grow up to be a hard worker like her one day.

Went for lunch a few days. I tried almost everything. The menu is small but you can add and personalize each dish. I like the freshness and the fast pace making style. I have not had a bad dish yet.
despite how busy it gets, the Oakland piada location always is accommodating and speedy with their service and the staff has a fun relationship between themselves while still being swift and dutiful in their service. I'm always pleased.
I took my family here after my daughters dance rehearsal. She loved the basil pesto. Personally, I tend to get the hand rolled fall avocado. Great atmosphere, service was impeccable. 10/10 recommend going.
