Had a really lovely time here. Our appetizers were great, we got the kale salad and the winter squash soup. I wasn't expecting the soup to be SOO flavorful. Our pizza was good and our rice pudding desert was amazing.
By far my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. This is not a traditional pizzeria, though the pizzas are authentic in a creative way. The pizza is thin crust, there are usually 5-6 different types on the menu, which changes daily. Ingredients are of the highest quality, always seasonal. The appetizers
Great place to go for some unique pizzas that are really good. I had a salty egg and chive pizza that was awesome, but it's hard to beat a good traditional margarita pizza sometimes, which unfortunately they don't serve. It's a no tipping restaurant so the prices look high, but what you end up payin
A unique pizza place. You will not find "standard" pizza on the menu. However, their pairings are very good. The crusts are usually unique as well. It's a fun and delicious take on pizza, and a hip place to grab a bite. I just am not sold that I like to variate from "normal" pizza
I love this place! It's the kind of place where you can pick anything on the menu and enjoy it. It's also a place where you leave full but not uncomfortably stuffed. The ingredients are always fresh and (I think) local. Some reviewers mentioned the only entrees are pizza. If I'm not in the mood for
Best pizza I've had in a long, long time. Fresh ingredients and a delicious crispy crust. Cold, crisp local beer to go with. Simple, elegant and understated decor. Attentive and impeccable service. We came from out of town and had this recommended by a local. This should be packed every night, but t
Seriously shocked by some of the lower reviews on here. This is hands down our FAVORITE place to eat in Pittsburgh. The waitstaff is always great. They even welcome us back because we come a lot :) A personal responsibility for advertising for Dinette by telling everyone we know about it! I have nev
Food was outstanding! I loved event about this place. We started I'd with olives and peppers as an appetizer. The pinot was very well done.
The pizzas are all different from standard Italian pizza and refreshing to see. I had the curly kale and was not disappointed!
Though I am very sure anything
Really good thin crust pizza with creative toppings. Quality has been consistently good. Love the appetizers-shishito peppers and soups taste very good. Place gets packed in the evenings, parking is easy to find.
Consistently excellent. Gone there for years. You like good pizza, olives, cured meats, fresh bread sticks, wine, or chocolate? How about ingredients grown on the roof and a no-tipping policy? Lots to love about this place. Nom!
This is my favorite place to eat in PGH. Sit at the bar and watch them make your pizza, and your fresh salads, often with ingredients harvested from the garden on the roof. They transitioned to a non-gratuitous pay system, (meaning, no tipping) and they should be applauded for that. Just be prepared
Sonja is the best. Pizzas are yummy and the wine is lovely. Salads are always so tasty and soups are great but very hot. I think it's nice.
