Mad Mex - Pittsburgh - Photo album

First time and it did not disappoint. The food was really good, well prepared, worth the price! Restaurant was clean, and our server, Jacob, was outstanding, very attentive and courteous. Highly recommend.
We usually go to this location for cast parties after strike. Generally we call ahead and mention that there will be plenty of us (20+) there and accommodations are generally made for us to sit in a similar section together. Service can be slow, but I'm not talking about the average wait time per la
I can’t say enough good things. Service is always impeccable and friendly. Even when slammed, the waitstaff make you feel like a priority. The menu varies often enough to keep it fresh, but not so often you feel like you can’t get your favorites. If you need something tweaked, they always accommodat
I was in town and planned on stopping at the Applebee’s in the same parking lot. Decided to stop in here and so glad we did! The place had just opened and we were sat immediately. The food was amazing, probably the best Mexican food I’d ever had. The chips were unique as they appeared to be home mad
Better than I expected. Waitress was very nice. They did accidentally only give my girlfriend a six-piece order of wings, but then they fixed it.
I went in for a quick and quiet beer, and Mad Mex did not disappoint. Photo of Fat Heads Headhunter IPA
Mad mex is definitely a go to. Although tonight the bartender was very miserable and a little chippy when asking what we wanted to drink, all while we just waited for a table. Dinner took a while which is fine since they were busy, but the meat in my Gobblerito didn’t appear to be cooked all the way
For those who enjoyed my CVS on Cochran Road review, this is where we went to decompress from that fiasco. Mad Mex has been one of my favorites for over 20 years which is astounding to me as a I write that. The food is wonderful (except, oddly, the flour tortillas. They kinda suck) and the atmosp
July 2021 update It's still here and still open. They did improve things by creating an outdoor seating area under canopies. While they do pipe the music outdoors, it is not nearly as obnoxiously loud as they keep it indoors. The food has not changed, except they do have some seasonal dishes which
I love Mad Mex, it's a local PA chain that has home quality food that is super delicious. The service at this location is amazing, they offer great suggestions, fast and clean table service, and it just overall a great vibe. You will never do wrong choosing Mad Mex when you're craving a Mexican lunc
Always a 5 star rating. Everytime we come. Their food, service, and atmosphere are consistent. This establishment is nothing less than 5 stars.
Ive always liked this chain and I quite like their South hills branch as well. It's a bit small compared to the other ones but I find their little outdoor patio cute. The margaritas are always on point. I love the options they have and went for the pineapple habanero when I was there last. It was a
The chickpea soup... Muy muy bueno!! My mad mex burrito combo with organic tofu was *madly* on point. 😆 Despite few patrons my service was NOT attentive enough. I also think it important when serving vegan/vegetarian options if there are allergies or diet preferences. Strange to put real cheese/sour
Food & margaritas were excellent. A large group came and were having a party for an occasion, and they were way too loud, and we were outside. They should have a room specifically for large parties!! Too loud!!
