Franklin Inn Mexican Restaurant - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Dina was our waitress. She was very attentive and accomodating. She made great recommendations for drinks and meals. We ordered house (Traditional) margaritas. I recommend to order one jar of margarita per two people. Two full jars of maragaritas was too much for two people. They were very strong, b
My neighbor is a bartender there, and I've never been there before. I'm from Florida so there's a lot of new places I haven't been to yet. I drive by the Franklin Inn so many times in a month, and I still hadn't gone there. I saw it was recently their 45th birthday for being open, so I figured I'd
The good: everything I've ever had here is great. The guac is fresh avocado and lime, the shrimp have the savory caramelized bits on, the cheese is real, the salsa is perfectly kicky! Best Mexican in the area. Salads are fresh, not an afterthought. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Margaritas are plenti
I've been here once before. We got here for dinner on a Tuesday night around 5:45 when it was already packed. We didn't have to wait too long to get a small table. They had a limit on the amount of time you could stay - maybe 75 minutes? It seemed like plenty of time but they were so busy that it t
We can't remember our servers name. Perhaps sherry? Either way we drove from Ontario for a friend's wedding and they suggested this restaurant to meet up at for a weddings eve meal. The food was awesome. The margs were even better. They had some issues with their hood and couldn't immediately serve
Friends brought us for the first time on a Saturday night. We have eaten at MANY Mexican restaurants, but wow…… 10/10. From the drinks and appetizers to our meals, seriously some of the best food across the board. Service was great too. Will absolutely make a trip back again.
I had the fake beef enchiladas. They cost more than most of the other enchiladas on the menu, not sure why. They were fair. The place is pretty busy. I used to go there years ago. I don't think I ordered the right item on the menu. I like the atmosphere a lot, service was good.
The staff and food are both always fantastic! The best wings and margaritas of any place I have been over the years!! Yes, I said the besse wings are at a Mexican restaurant. The Franklin Inn is always my go to whenever I am in town!
I would come back to the Franklin Inn just for the margaritas. However, the food was great and so was the service. It was packed but we were seated in 5-mins. They are technologically advanced too. You get on the waitlist via a tablet and we paid for our food via a QR code at the end. It wasn’t req
Food disappointed , it looked good in pics. Shrimp taco.. had shrimp chopped like chicken :-( feel like I cud have made it better. Rice was a little under cooked... Portobello with chorizo had flavor was saving grace . Empanadas were ok... Service was good...
The Franklin inn did not disappoint! We recommend the nachos - a HUGE serving of nachos that could be a meal in itself. The portobello chorizo mushrooms were tasty and a unique dish, as well! The atmosphere was very cute and felt very inviting and "homey", but it was a bit crowded with how close the
It's was great. Got there early and didn't have to wait. But even if I had to wait I would of with no problem. The food was great and the prices are great too! Also good size portions too!
The Franklin Inn has been one of my favorite places for years. I especially love there wings and margaritas and have had many other items on the menu that were great!
Stopped in for a quick lunch and was very happy to be greeted so graciously... had a seat, place my order and chatted up with the staff. Food came out fast and was SPOT ON!! Wings are done right and a very nice flavor. I also had the chorizo street tacos because, well why not right? DAMN FINE TACO
Went for the first time tonite after hearing how great it was and it didn’t disappoint at all! The bartender Jamie made FANTASTIC drinks and Sarah was a gem of a server. Food was delicious and the buildings unique style was an awesome vibe. Will be back!
Nestled in the quaint hills of Franklin Park is the Franklin Park Inn. This is an awesome place for a Mexican Fiesta. Eating here took me back to my time in the Rio Grande. Staff was so friendly and the service was superb. The generous portions of food and atmosphere made this visit perfect.
Food is great. Wings are amazing. Love the margaritas. Would recommend this place to anyone.
