Zucchini Fries. Absolutely awesome
Sidelines bar and grill in millvale, HONESTLY..... is one if not the absolute best to have wings and beers. This place has so much character not only within the building but within the bartenders. Im honestly very much surprised and impressed with the tattooed bartenders that are serving. Its not youre usual casual dressed bartenders and that's what makes the place what it is.Any sport is usually on. And attention is consistent. I appreciate the service or those bartenders for the amazing service and please let me not leave the cooks out, the food is always so mouthwatering and pleasant. Thank you for your services
This place is great! Both locations are great but I like the working class vibe of the Millvale location. The wings are some of the best in Western PA. It's also a great place to try out some new beers.
A hidden gem! I love this place. Wings are great.
The service was a little slow which could have been because we were there during a pens playoff game but the food and beer selection well made up for it!!! Their wings are absolutely AMAZING!!! Peanut butter and jelly wings are super delicious. The wings and mash (which taste like thanksgiving dinner) are to die for!! And if that isn't enough....THEY HAVE A CUPCAKE OF THE DAY! Walking in off the street you would never think it would be good but I promise you...you won't be disappointed. All in all you should absolutely go, I'm sure I will see you there!
The Irish stew is good stuff I had it three times this week ! I really really like it ! I
WOWZA. Food and service so impecable they should re-name it Ryan Reynolds Abs.
Great bar. Awesome beer selection. Amazing food from the wings to sliders. Sara always takes good care of us. Atmosphere is light and relaxed. Great place to relax after a long day of blowing up buildings. First rule of sidelines is you...
Great beer selection ,great burger and great wings as well.A Little loud but we will definitely be back .
Amazing 'hole-in-the-wall' experience. This place is everything great about local pittsburgh dining. Based on the decor and location, the typical person wouldn't think this place was one of the best joints in town. The typical person would be absolutely wrong.
Where to start? First of all, don't be fooled by the decor. The dining area is cramped and not in great shape. The Building has seen better times, for sure, but not better food, beer and service. This place has the best wings you will ever have. That simple. And they have fantastic craft beers on tap and in their cooler for less than half for what you would pay elsewhere. Like Chimay Grand and Gulden Draak and Orvval for what you would pay for a crappy sam-adams at some other joints.
The bartenders are colorful and attentive. They won't kiss up to you, but they will give you excellent service and will treat you like a 'regular' the first time you stop in.
Bob, the owner, if you ever have a chance to meet him, is also great. Even as recently as a few months ago, he was back in the kitchen slinging the hash and bustin his knuckles like everyone else, *and* running the biz. *and* he knows half his customers by first name.
This place is the real deal. Locally owned, locally operated, hard working, top wings and beer at reasonable prices. It doesn't get mor 'burgh than this.
PS: Did I mention the wings? Yeah, they're that good.
Wings!. To be completely honest, I've never been to Buffalo. That being said, I am still kind of a wing snob and these are probably the best wings I've ever had, with iBar in Baltimore in the running. The other food was pretty good as well! Will definitely return when I make my way back to Pittsburgh!
Good all around.. Sideline's is low-key, comfortable, friendly place with enjoyable food and beer. If you're in the Millvale area, I would definitely check it out. I'm particularly fond of their chicken wings. You can't miss the building, either!
Chicken salad with Medium wing sauce please. Nice people, good food, and fun beer. I think this is a gem hidden in Millvale. My favorite is their chicken salad and I get the medium wing sauce as my dressing. It is fantabulous. Hubby is a wing fanatic and swears these are the best wings he has ever ate. Wing night it is ridiculously crowded but the prices are so downright fair that you need not wait for them to go on special. They have a beer club and I have drank my way to a beer club member t shirt! The people there are great. Sidelines has beer tasting events that sell out almost as soon as the tickets go on sale. Try it!
Best Wings in PGH without question!!. Sidelines is great for many reasons. They've got a great beer selection at pretty reasonable prices; the food is awesome and way above your average bar food; they've always got a good crowd and great specials pretty much every night. But if you need any other reason to check this place out, you should go simply to get the wings. Hands down best wings in the city. Very unique sauces, and the wings are cooked to absolute perfection. If you go on wing night, it will be crowded, and you will wait. Be prepared. Wings of this degree of perfection take time, and must be cooked in small batches. My recommendation, try the hot wings. You'll probably sweat, you might cry like a bitch, but you will go back for more.
Great food and beer at reasonable prices. I'm disappointed that I didn't try this place sooner! I've lived in Pittsburgh for almost two years, and this place has some of the best bar food I've tried. It's a little "divey" inside, but it's clean and had a fun atmosphere.
They have a huge beer selection at reasonable prices. Their burgers are one of the best I've ever had (and I'm a bit of a burger snob), their fries are fresh cut, and their cheese steaks are really good (no steak-ums here). I would probably say more good things but that's all that I have tried. Oh, and they have really good specials.
Sidelines Bar and Grill has a laid back local neighborhood atmosphere that feels very specific to the small communities in Pittsburgh. Here’s how this burger experience works; pick any combination of 14 toppings, 8 cheeses, 20 seasonings, dressings, and sauces, however you like it, as creative or pedestrian as you are feeling at this particular moment, then kick back and enjoy an amazing burger. You’re the author, Sidelines takes care of the publishing, and everyone’s a winner.
*Cozy sports pub with excellent food!!!.. I drove 100+ miles from Akron Ohio to take on the "Rebecca's Revenge" burger challenge and was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the locals and the taste of the great food they were pumping out of the kitchen. Finished the Challenge in 15mins and got a T-shirt & meal for free.
The best wings I've had in Pittsburgh! Lots of sauce selection and each are delicious. The garlic parmesan Fries were smothered and delicious as well. Everything was great. The atmosphere was a little crazy but still very clean and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Everything was very affordable.
I love this place. Best wings in Pittsburgh. If you miss Jack Daniel's strips from TGIFridays, get the bourbon blaze flavor on the boneless wings. The fries are good and you can get salt and vinegar seasoning. I'm not a dessert person but the funnel cake fries are so good.
Wings, salad, and pretzel roll were as expected: great food. Unfortunately short staffed the night we went. But server was great: friendly, as attentive as he could be, and friendly under the circumstance. Back room was really much colder than it needed to be.
Embarrassed that I slept on this place for as long as I did as a lifelong Pittsburgher. Wings are top tier, incredible flavors, fresh and perfectly cooked. Service is quick and no frills. Absolutely on my rotation now.
Haven't been there for a while. We where in Millville we were look for a place to eat lunch. I thought of Sidelines we were happy to see they were open. The wings where Delicious. It was a treat to Taste the wings again.
Awesome staff and great beer selection .Their wings are some of the best I've ever had - and this is coming from someone who grew up in Buffalo.
Perfect stop before a show at Mr Smalls. Great beer selection and the wings were very good. Yea, its Millvale. But I was pleasantly surprised by the inside of the place. Not the dirty smoky place I was expecting from previous reviews. Less than 10 minute walk to Mr Smalls after we ate and got tuned up!
Great atmosphere, people and location. The Jamaican jagoff wings are a hit as well!. There is a community they build with wall plaques with names of people they love the most. The great thing is, they love the customers. Great!
Best wings in town. Great sauce selection and wings are always cooked well.
Great place to eat good food and watch the games. The staff is pretty friendly and the wing specials on Wednesday's and game days are a pretty good deal. They do have a variety of great flavored wings too. I recommend this bar as a good place to chill and the drinks are also on point. Thanks Sidelines, I always enjoy myself when I come to your bar 🙂
The wings are the best I've ever had. Even better than Jake Melniks in Chicago. The chicken is so tender & they have so many options of sauces. It's super affordable. We had 4 drinks, fries and 2 orders of boneless wings for $40. The bar isn't really my kind of scene, but can't fault them for that. It's definitely like a bro/biker type vibe to it.
Wings are soooo good . The crowd is good all around this place is awesome 👍
Wings were excellent. Burger was delicious. Service was great. Bathroom a little weird but who cares. Def recommend.
Amazing wings and good beer selection.
