Oishii Bento - Pittsburgh - Photo album

This place seems to be authentic for me. Small Korean restaurant with few extra seats on the second floor. Waiting time around 15 mins because they are busy with other orders. The counter desk lady is quick and serious. I ordered the most expensive dish in the menu - galbi bento (Korean short ribs).
The lady at the front was friendly and loved that there was self serve hot tea while we wait for the food. The udon noodles were perfectly chewy but just felt that the broth lacked flavor for the kimchi udon soup. The shrimp tempura though was very good.
Delicious bulgogi bowl. Huge portions. Clean kitchen. Good for pick up.
We went to this place after our prolonged waiting at a nearby bubble tea shop. There were a lot of people waiting, so honestly we were a bit worrying. Fortunately, the food was ready in less then 15 minutes. We were surprised by the efficiency of the service, and the food was delicious. Huge portion
Fast delicious food! My kids and I love this place!
Delicious. Had the Bulgogi Bento and added a side of Kimchi and it was awesome. Can't wait to try the Galbi Bento.
Normally we order by phone for pick up. This time around we were going to dine at a restaurant nearby but they closed early for lunch. So we walked over to Oishii. The lady taking our order inside was not friendly at all. Prices reasonable as usual. We ordered the Bulgogi Bento and the Chicken Katsu
This place always scratches the itch I get for a straightforward, unpretentious Japanese-style rice bowl with a mountain of toppings. The sweetness of the teriyaki just pairs so well with breaded cutlets and veggies. Chef's kiss, no notes. Volume is great for the price; only complaints are the tiny
My first time here! Got a bulgogi bowl with a side of kimchi. As a Korean, I'm super impressed. Authentic, delicious, and affordable food in generous portions. I was surprised to see bulgogi cooked made to order. I'll definitely stop by a lot
Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Oakland. Friendly staff and delicious eats. I'm a big fan of their rice bowls, but their sushi is also excellent. A bit higher priced than some of it competition, but worth it in my opinion.
