I was super excited when my fiance told me that he was talking to a guy in Pittsburgh and that guy had told him that he was going to be opening a Fogo De Chao in Pittsburgh, and they definitely did not disappoint. It was amazing!! It far surpasses Texas De Brazil, and it's not nearly as crowded, at least, not yet lol. The atmosphere and interior styling are really beautiful for starters, and that Market Bar, extremely fresh and diverse (big caper berries, um....YUM). Everyone who was at our table was gracious and very accommodating and Haley and Rebecca were very sweet and attentive. Rudy is a hoot lol, he recognized my fiance from talking to him and made sure to say hi and make our dinner very memorable (and insisted that I eat no less than 8 lamb chops lol, that Chimmichurri tho �). It was really a spectacular meal. Also, we came late at 9:30 and were there until closing, at closing they allowed the servers to have their staff meal from the market bar and that is truly the sign of a good owner. A lot of places will feed their staff chicken fingers and the like for staff meal instead of allowing them to eat food that is just going to be disposed of anyway, and it was really nice to see the employees actually be able to eat it instead.
Interesting concept done very well. Great food- I’m a protine diet guy and this place is spot on for that. Meat meat n more meat! Great service - beautiful decor
We went to the restaurant because it was close to our hotel. It looked beautiful from the outside and in. We felt it was going to be like Texas de Brazil. We enjoy the Brazilian experience but we found this was much better quality than the other Brazilian restaurants we have tried in the past. The meat was better quality and the sides were also better. Our only disappointment is there isn’t one in our home town. Well worth the cost for the quality.
This was my first time there . What a great experience. It was by far the best service and food I had in a long time. A+++++. The salad bar alone can fill you up during lunch but I highly recommend the full experience!

WOW! What a fantastic experience. My family had never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse so we can’t compare Fogo de Chão to others, but the overall dining experience was excellent! The food was hot, cooked perfectly, and kept coming at us from all angles! The Market Bar was delicious salads, cheese, and Italian meats. My 14 yr old never eats steak and she ate several servings (small pieces). We stayed at the Embassy/Hilton next door. I am so glad we chose Fogo de Chão!
It was our first there but I must say it was FANTASTIC !! All the meats were hot, delicious and they kept them coming! Plus they brought out other items also. The service was SUPER...they kept up with everything and you never had to ask for a single thing!! Fogo de Chao is definitely a recommended place to try.
We visited this location Saturday night to celebrate our grandmother’s 90 birthday. The food was good as expected how our server Stephanie was amazing and made the experience a pleasant one. With keeping up with our grandmothers request for lamb, and our drinks topped off Stephanie helped serve birthday cake and helped take family pics. We wanted to let Fogo de Chao the have an asset with Stephanie and we hope they appreciate her as much as we do! Thank you for everything you did for us Stephanie!
Came here for dinner a few weeks ago. Had reservations but still had to wait 10-15 min. Service was good and the food was pretty decent. Though some of the red meat was very rare (blue). Overall not a bad experience.
Absolutely top of the line dining. The waitresses we had were so polite and professional. Gaichos were very attentive to when you wanted more food. The manager made sure to check with each table. The restaurant and bathroom were spotless. This is some of the best dining we experienced in our two week stay in Pittsburgh. If you get a chance, I would highly recommend stopping here. Josee and his team were outstanding.
We came in with a group of 15 guys and Stephanie took care of us from start to finish making sure we had a drink in our hand, and food on our plate. She was fantastic! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Thanks again for a great dinner experience!
The restaurant staff pride themselves on 10/10 customer service. The Market Table is filled with delicious, colorful options. The gauchos were very attentive in serving us mouthwatering cuts of picanha, garlic filet, etc. I love the brown-sugared crisp bacon, along with the mushroom caps & roasted garlic cloves, to eat with bites of steak. The smoked salmon with capers is DELISH. Our waitress, C.C, was an exceptionally nice person. I was made to feel very welcome on my 65th bday. I've been at various Fogo de Chao locations: Wash D.C, San Juan, P.R, Orlando, even in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. But we especially love our home Pittsburgh site !! 😍
Food is outstanding! Quality meat and the fresh food bar is so tasty and diverse. Lots of great foods to choose from and you will certainly not leave hungry. Staff was attentive and helpful, and made sure to ask if we wanted more sides, bread or a specific cut of meat.
Anyone looking for an elegant and delicious meal will love it here. Recommend making a reservation for sure.
Food was all delicious and extremely filling. Drinks were strong and tasty as well. Definitely a place you go as an experience not exactly the most relaxing or intimate but just go in with an open mind to enjoy the food and try new stuff!
Went out for my birthday and had an amazing time! The food was amazing (especially the lamb) the servers made me feel warm and welcome, and it made for an incredible birthday. They even decorated my dessert!!!
We had our office holiday luncheon here. I worked with Gary regarding our options and selected the Amethyst package. He was so great to work with and ensured the process of making our reservation, confirmation, and agreement easy. He was available the day of and very attentive. I would also like to acknowledge both Alicia and Jose, who were our servers and were impeccable; attentive, courteous, and quick. No one in our group of 40+ went without. The Gauchos who came around with the meats were also knowledgeable of what they were serving and a pleasure to engage with. The food is amazing, and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Based on this experience, we highly recommend this place.
Erika was an amazing bartender, so helpful and sweet. We'll definitely be back to have some drinks with her.
Service at our table was below mediocre. In a two hour period our server never asked if we needed refills on our drinks or anything for that matter. We had to flag her down and ask for refills on our drinks and waited over 20 minutes each time we asked and inevitably had to ask again to receive our original drink order. The server clearly didn't care and blatantly said she didn't care to other servers that would tell her that we needed refills. We ended having to go to the bar to get our drinks.
Needless to say, I spoke with a manager about the poor service and attitude from his server mentioning that employees like that are negative and bring down all of the people around them and it would probably be in his best interest to get rid of her immediately.
Went for lunch, for the all you can eat option. The meat was amazing ! Cooked to perfection ! The waiters made us feel comfortable and always were there for whatever we needed.
My husband, daughter, & I had our Christmas Eve dinner here on our first trip to Pitt. We’ve eaten at other Brazilian restaurants, but this is our top pick! Though the picanha has been a favorite of ours, both the pork belly and grilling cheese drizzled with honey were out of this world and not something we’ve had at the other places!! Our servers, Myra and Sabrina, were so kind and attentive! All the gauchos were great! Jacob, a manager, was so personable and accommodating! One of the hosts was even kind enough to take a picture for us. Thank you all for a wonderful evening!!
We celebrated my husband's birthday this weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect - the atmosphere, the service, the food, and the drinks. Our main server, Jade, was informative since this was our first visit. She was also attentive to our needs and kind - she made our experience unforgettable! Definitely consider ending your meal with the Creme Brulee, it's stunning!

This would seem not to be the best place for me to review because I don't like a lot of meat. That said, the food was very good, the service was good, and it was a comfortable atmosphere. For anyone who doesn't know, this Brazilian steak house has a sides bar (the "Market Table") where you can get salad, fruit, cheese, smoked salmon, and other sides for your meal. They do bring cheesy bread, garlic potatoes, fried polenta, and fried plantains to your table. Then they bring the meats to you, you decide which you'd like to have, and they cut a piece off for you. They have multiple versions of beef, chicken, pork, and lamb. I ate a couple of the beef and chicken. It was all really well prepared and the servers were very kind and friendly. I would go again, but I would try more sides and stick to the chicken. I would also leave room for the creme brulee. It was delicious as take out, so it must be fabulous fresh.
There were multiple families with younger children (under 10) as well as tweens and teens. No one seemed to be having issues, so I would say this location is family-friendly. My brother uses a walker and it was very accessible for him. Overall it was a great experience!
We love Fogo De Chao! Best Brazilian steakhouse in the area. The grilling cheese with honey is AMAZING. Our server, Ale, was great 👌. Thanks for making our Christmas Eve extra yummy! And thanks for making a special chocolate milk for our 4 year old, she loved drinking out of her fancy cup 😊
Beautiful, elegant decor, friendly and attentive staff, free parking and delicious food. I took my friend for her birthday and she had a wonderful time. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Don’t fill up on the salad bar or you won’t be able to enjoy all the variety of cuts of meat they have to offer. We had the opportunity to try every type of meat on the menu list at least twice. Dessert was complimentary because of my friends birthday and our cocktails were delicious as well. They have an extensive bar and a cute private room for parties.
We have been here for three separate occasions and we have had the most magnificent time each visit. Today we had an exceptional waiting staff with Madason being a stand out among stars. I particularly enjoyed the lamb which was amazing but you cannot go wrong with any choice.
Wow! Just WOW!!!! I've never been to a Brazilian where they shave your choice right at the table. Not only beef but ribs, chicken, sausage, pork were also choices. The beef was PHENOMENAL. Word of caution--you WILL eat too much.
Also, Fogo offers the best Salad Bar I've ever had. Service was outstanding. Lots of happy noise so it can be hard to hear.
