I really like their Sicilian Pizza. My wife thinks the have the best Italian Hoagie in the city, but I personally don't car for their special custom garlic mayo sauce they put on it...just a heads up.

NY Italian Gal. As a native NYer, I am spoiled when it comes to pizza, especially Sicilian style.
I heard about Angelo's making a good one, so I decide to try. It was Great ! Just like NY pizza.
The crust is the right thickness, the cheese so creamy but the sauce, the sauce makes it the best ever!
I felt I was back in New York again.
Move over Squirrel Hill pizza, Angelo's pizza ranks No. 1 with me.
Phone kept ringing, people with family having dinner...a great place.

Not just another pizza place. I was in charge of ordering food for a work meeting in Lawrenceville. I decided to keep it simple and order pizza. Now the question was where to order from---Lawrenceville and Bloomfield are definitely not lacking in pizza places. After reviewing Urbanspoon, I decided to try Angelo's. It was a great decision on my part.
I worked with Ericka, who helped me decide how many pizzas and what types to order. In addition, we also ordered chef salads.
I must thank Ericka and the crew for making me look good--this relatively large order was delivered on time and also included all paper products. The pizzas were warm and tasty. The salad was much more than a bowl of lettuce. It was great to sit back and listen to the accolades regarding the food.
Check it out--it's definitely worth a try.

I had this pizza AFTER eating Pizza Italia, so that gave Angelo's an advantage from the start. But this pizza's primary ingredients -- crust, sauce, cheese -- all were above-average. Nice balance of salty, greasy, and crusty. Not perfect, but definitely better than average.

My go to place!. At first we got Angelo's out of convenience since we live right next to it, but now it's our favorite pizza place. The only place I've had in PGH that's better is Fiori's. Angelo's is a close second for me. My only complaint is that the cheese doesn't stay on the pizza it falls right off. The sauce and crust are fantastic.

My Favorite Bloomfield Pizza Place. Best Sicilian Pizza in Bloomfield bar none. Also try the provelone fries. They are fresh cut and seasoned perfectly. This was my first meal after I gave birth to my son at West Penn Hospital 5 years ago and my husband and I still order it every week!

My go-to pizza place. The only food I've ever ordered from Angelo's is a plain cheese pizza. Despite ordering the simplest item on the menu, it's consistently delicious and I'm never disappointed. The staff is usually very friendly and that goes a long way in my book. I hear the cheese fries are ridiculously good, but with the amount of Angelo's cheese pizza I eat, I'm thinking of staying away from those for a while. Highly recommended even though I'm loyal to only one type of pizza! Great pizza and great staff.

So tasty!. I had a coupon from the entertainment book for pizza and saw where Angelo's was in the WPXI best hoagie contest so I figured it was a good time to try it out. And, I'm so glad I did!! The pizza oozed with flavor. The crust was well-back and the cheese and sauce were so tasty. As if that wasn't heavenly enough, the Italian hoagie may be one of the best I have ever had. I can't wait to go back!!

I just got back from Angelos pizza and it was very good , my favorite was the crunchy crust. The pizZa itself was a bit on the greasy side tho, but I might say I would reccomend this to anyone who comes this way. Yum yum .

Great place for great pizza. I have just eaten there for the fourth time now, and expect that I will be returning many more times. Like a lot of pizza shops they have their busy times and their slow times, and the first time I went there, God was it busy, but well worth dealing with the crowd. Everyone was friendly and eager to help, a real pleasure to see. I was in a bit of a hurry so I asked about their cuts, and they told me they have 2 kinds, Bordwalk, which is a cut from a tossed pie and Sicilian, which is a thick crust pizza with a crunchy outside and soft inside. I asked the cashier which would they reccommend, I was told the Sicilian was now being made the traditional way by themselves and everyone seemed to love them. I took the advice and ordered 2 cuts of Sicilian with a drink. WOW! The Sicilian was the best I ever had, I mean I've been in the burgh for a couple of years and tried a lot of places around here, but I am origionally from NJ and they have a lot of competion up there where I'm from and they could learn a thing or two from this shop. A nice crunch on the outside and a soft on the inside, the sauce was not runny (I hate when it is) and had a little zest to add flavor, the cheese was great and did not have that fakeness to it, and it was filling. I knew at that moment this was the place for me. I've ordered pizzas everytime I went there, and they are always great, the sauce just right with some of the best cheese evenly placed on the pizza, and not so much that it does not cook right, but enough that it gives a wonderful taste. I recently had some of my friends from NJ down and we ate there, they loved it, one got a hoagie instead of pizza and loved it. I will have to try their hoagies next time and give an update to how that went, but I seriously don't think I will be disapointed. I will note that I have made request for some of my pizzas when my friends came down because they like it a certain way and they had no problem doing it that way. So if you want a great pizza done your way, this is the place. John

Y'all. Just go here. The servers were SO nice, even though I took a weirdly long time to figure out what I wanted. More importantly, the pizza is SO good?? I don't even like pizza that much, I was just there for the garlic knots. I got the Sicilian white cut single slice and it might have been the best pizza I've ever eaten. My roommate and I were eating it and kept saying "Why is this so good!?" The pizza was so good it derailed my evening (in a good way) Next up: my steak and cheese hoagie. Oh my GOODNESS it's good. The best hoagie I've gotten anywhere in Pittsburgh by FAR. They make their own little mayo sauce and it's tasty. I got this whole spread, including tip, for under $20. Don't sleep on this place. This is not a paid review I'm just so excited about this food

The food is always excellent, and the delivery drivers are always friendly. A reliable source for good Pittsburgh pizza. Also much less expensive than other pizza places around. Thanks Angelo’s for the good service!

What’s weird about my experience is that I only got pizza from here once. For me, I only go to Angelo’s for one thing. And that's their famous hoagies. The Italian, any of The Steak hoagies, they are all fire. What makes them so unique compared to anywhere else? They special make their Mayo and dressing. I always get both on my hoagies, and I get the dressing on the side to dip my sandwiches into. Warning: you might get addicted, and your pants size may go up.

Great pizza shop in Bloomfield. I would highly recommend the pepperoni and sausage pizza, although the hot pepper pizza was also very good. Parking can be tricky at certain times of the day due to the hospital.

This is legit pizza. Can’t go wrong with a place that has a painted mural of mob bosses right in the entrance way. This is in Little Italy. Big slices are the main highlight here. Of course have to warsh it dahn with a Turners iced tea! Check this place out if you’re in the Pittsburgh (Bloomfield) area.

A Bloomfield staple! Ordering over the phone is rough on the weekends, so I order live-- that way they can see my attractive figure BEFORE I get fat off their Angelo's special (life is short, so order everything on it). The new location is clean, and I like how you can see the cooks make the food. I kinda feel bad for them though, having all kinds of hungry people looking at you.

The best pizza in Pittsburg! The dough is the best I've tasted so far in the city. The pizza can be a little runny, but the taste is on point. Just try it out and you won't regret it. I had a 11/10 experience with the workers.

First time trying this place and it was pretty good. Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating, accidentally gave us the wrong pizza but called as soon as we left to let us know so we turned around and they let us keep both. Definitely the best pizza customer service experience in Pittsburgh. The pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings all had great flavor. We ordered a meat pizza and it was not too greasy like most. They only charged for half the price of toppings since we only wanted toppings on half the pizza. This seems like a given but most places charge full price for half toppings and I always feel a bit ripped off. Cons: The crust was a bit too thick for my taste and soggy, even though we asked for a well-done bake. The wait was kind of long from phone call to pick up (~35 min) Overall it’s some of the best Pizza we’ve tried in the city and would definitely go back!
