If you are someone who is lactose intolerant and is looking for pizza but hasn't found a good option that has any decent taste, you need to come in and try this place out. They have a lot of options including your traditional Pizza and gluten-free options and also dairy-free cheese that actually tastes and has the same texture as regular cheese. I have had other places that claim to have dairy-free cheese that tastes good, but I always fell short. This place however it's completely different. They are the real deal deal. This is my second visit to them and I love the fact that I can have pizza now without having to worry about being lactose intolerant. I strongly suggest that my fellow lactose intolerant people come and try this out. You won't be disappointed. Now you can eat pizza with people that are not lactose intolerant and nobody be disappointed.
Amazing staff. Amazing food and cool place to hang out for a meal. Loved the atmosphere in here. I felt at home. I ordered the vegan buffalo chicken pizza and a veggie wedgie and they both were SO GOOD. I can’t wait to go back to try more of their vegan menu! They have a hole page of vegan options! ��
My first sub in 6 years and it was the most amazing food! I have had to be gluten free and never thought I would have a sandwich out again. Well no longer! I had the Pastoli Italian sub and quite enjoyed it. Thanks so much for expanding the GF menu options! It is nice to know I have choices for the next time I am wanting pizza, pasta or subs. :)

The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was not only delicious, the crust was everything I loved about pizza (as a NJ boy): thin, tasty, structurally sound, and with a little crunch. Out of all the Pittsburgh pizza I've tried, this actually deserves the name. Coupled with the fact that they have gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan options, Pastoli's has something for everyone.
My girlfriend and I are eating pizza here and we are from Washington, this is the best pizza!!! You need to come to good old Washington. We come once a month and your the hot spot for our annual lunch date , thanks for the great pizza!!!!!!

Wow!!!! First time trying this place the owner was so nice she told me the story of the name and I'm very impressed with the food! Definitely going back try the spinach ricotta Sicilian!
Best. Vegan. Pizza!!! I've ordered their BBQ vegan pizza a few times now, and I had to call and confirm that it was, in fact, vegan. Not only was the man who answered very pleasant, the 'cheese' and 'chicken' are so convincing!!! So glad I found this gem!

Great Squirrel Hill spot for pizza that reminded me of true Italy and Italian pizza. You would know if you have been to Florance, Italy. Give it a try for lunch.
Food and service were absolutely amazing! They have a full Gluten Free menu that doesn't consist of only salad. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes are made for sharing, but.... we didn't!😂
The garlic bread and Apex Predator were our favorites! The gluten free loaded cheese fries were also delicious!
We came on an open mic night, and it was delightful to hear local folks singing and playing music! Even better was the hearty sandwich and calzone we ordered, the beers (for dine-in or to-go), and the charming staff!
Recommend the Italian calzone, but honestly I might order the meatball next time. Either way, the "small" size is huge and definitely warranted a take home box.
We were able to accommodate gluten free, lactose free and vegetarian diets without compromising anything. My daughter had her first hoagie in years and loved it. The gluten free bread was wonderful.
We had a variety of food and all were stuffed!

Solid pizza place with a lot of portions for people on certain diets (vegan, gluten free, etc). Prices for some items are a little expensive and portions are just okay, but quality seems relatively high. I ordered the regular cheese pizza and caramel cinnamon puffs for dessert.
The pizza was pretty standard. I thought the crust was on the thicker side, while I prefer it thinner, but it wasn't bad. Nice crispness on the edges but not so much in the middle. Adequate amount of cheese, and even distribution. Good amount of lightly sweet sauce.
I really liked their homemade ranch, and I think it's definitely worth getting on the side. It's less than a dollar extra for a nice little cup. Its super creamy and flavorful, and goes really well with the pizza crust.
The cinnamon puffs were quite good. They are essentially little pieces of fried dough with a cinnamon sugar dusting. Good portion for the price. The caramel was a little liquidy but still good. Nice dessert.
All in all, this is a solid place for pizza and other similar items. It is especially good if you are a vegan or follow a gluten-free diet. I would definitely recommend trying their ranch regardless of what you order as your entree.
Two Sicilian slices for $5 is a good deal, especially when they taste great!
You need to wait for roughly 10 mins as they start preparing your slices right after you ordered, so always super fresh.
The pizza dough tastes chewy and fluffy, and the bottom is crispy. The load of cheese is generous and the flavor is in balance.
I would only beef their toppings, $2 for a measly amount of salami and slice of onions. Should not add any toppings.

Excellent Sicilian pizza. Pizza rolls were over the top! This place has many gluten free and vegan options. My daughter had gf pizza which was okay and they have gf rolls for subs.
"I'll be back" in my Arnold Voice...lol food was amazing I had the calzone is was perfect lots of pep and cheese...red sauce and sausage. I couldn't decide between the large or small I went with the small and it was more then enough and I'm 6'2 315Lbs my wife had the salad no problems 😊 and my kids had the rest and they loved it...great staff and the women on the front counter was very nice...so thank you
This place has a cute and quaint-looking setup. I don’t think they get enough credit for the fact that they have both vegan and gluten-free options in their menu. Apparently most places don’t have gluten-free meatballs but this one does. If you’re looking for vegan or gluten-free Italian in Pittsburgh, look no further!

this place was superrrrrrrr amazing. Went with 2 others (one gluten free) so we got a lot of options. We had the gluten free Cajun fries and the gluten free potato skins for apps and they were both soooo good. For our main dishes we got garlic butter parm wings, the pepperoni calzone, the Buffalo chicken pizza, and a gluten free white pizza. Everything was really really delicious. We ate in and everything came out hot and so so tasty. The name on our ticket I believe said Kaitlin, she was super nice, made sure we got what we needed gluten free, and was just a wonderful person to have take our order. Sooooo good, definitely worth a try considering everything we got was great:)
I've eaten a couple times here for the vegan options. I ordered the vegan buffalo chicken pizza and added fries. It was pretty good. I really enjoyed being able to order it smoked, and liked the chicken on it. I ordered a vegan bbq chicken wedgie another time, it was good though the bbq sauce wasn't too flavorful, definitely prefer the buffalo sauce.
I have ordered Pastoli’s pizza 3x now. Delivered twice and picked up once. Always fresh, quick, and so delicious. My husband has food allergies and we’ve never had an issue with cross contamination. They’re crust is thin but still so soft & fluffy, and never burned. I also can’t think of a place that has so many vegetarian and vegan options. A vegan cheese?? What?! Hands down my favourite pizza place. The rest of their menu is a must try.

Best gf pizza!!! Super accommodating of gluten free allergies. They remade a pizza Bc they said it may have been cross contaminated in one spot (not even the whole pizza)— most restaurants wouldn’t have even cared.
The gluten free crust is the best I’ve had!! So glad to find this gem. My kids are already asking when we can come back.
