Skillful and entertaining chef Zheng prepared us a yummilicious dinner on the spot. Good portion and its value for money.
We have been here many times, and it’s great to see the quality and service consistently be so good. Of course, this is still not a high end place , which is why I’m not giving the food a five star, but for a nice family friendly local place, this place is awesome.
Over time, we have also learned to try out different things on the menu, and still enjoy trying new things.
I especially like the beef from the menu, and the ceviche salmon salad.
We hadn't been here since covid hit and I was ready for a good dinner out. We sat at the hibachi with strangers, but safely distanced. There were 6 seated where typically there would be 8. Aside from the cheesy antics if the cook it was great. They must be required to do those silly things and honestly it makes me uncomfortable. But I'm there for the food and it does not disappoint. I had steak and scallops. My husband had steak and shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. The portions are huge so we each had plenty of leftovers to bring home too.
First time here. Came here with friends! Food was amazing and delicious 😋 clean n friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be telling people bout this place!! Love it💜
Went for sister in laws birthday and just a fantastic experience like all the other times I have been there. Staff was friendly and nice, let us store the ice cream cake in the fridge when we got there and even brought it out after dinner with candles and sang happy birthday to her. Price is on par with every other Hibachi restaurant in Pittsburgh. Chefs are enjoyable and love interacting with the children at the table! Will definitely be back!
It was good over all , I didn’t too much like it ( noodles and soup in bowl ) and they give you good portions.

I had a GREAT TIME here! I had the hibachi steak, scallops, and shrimp.. everything was great. Oh I had the soup and the salad, I didn't like the dressing on the salad it had too much ginger in it for me. Nice atmosphere the chef was very entertaining!

5 stars for 5 reasons!
1. Affordable. You get a huge meal (see photos) for $20! You get soup, salad, noodles, rice, mixed vegetables, and your choice of meat.
2. Quick. My friend and I got there at 6:00pm. We were seated immediately and the chef came in 5 minutes. There were 5 people in total at our hibachi table. He cooked and served all of us within 20 mins. We were eating by 6:30pm!
3. Great food - OMG food is so good I can't handle it.
4. Family friendly - this place is family friendly and offers kids meals and staff are so kind to the kids
5. Free birthday shout out - if you go here for your birthday, you will get a special shout-out, where the disco ball on the ceiling lights up and music plays, the staff brings out ice cream for the whole family, and they bring out a light-up ornament for the table that makes "fake" fireworks and light-up the place.
Ichiban is delicious. We had a fun and talented chef create right before us a tasty meal. We had so much fun. I love the hot saki. My son likes the fire for safety the chef told him not to play with fire at home. Nicely priced and worth it.
We go eat there A few times A year...(Only because our incomes won't permit anymore)lol. Never have any disappointment
You will not find better steak, service, or atmosphere in all of Pittsburgh. Very expensive, but worth it.
We had the filet and shrimp hibachi dinner. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the filet. It was tough with gristle. I would have been better off ordering the cheaper steak.
Excellent food. Love the soup, steak, noodles, rice, shrimp, and vegetables at the hibachi. Edamame is good, but maybe a little overdone. Will visit again.
One of our favorite spots! Food is always good, my kids love it and we have enough food left over for a few days. Try it if you haven't.
