Went to Pittsburgh to watch the Steelers beat up on the Ratbirds. One of the places we went to is McFadden's. Great place. The ambiance and music were all about creating a good, fun vibe. The staff was friendly. I forgot the male bartender who took turns taking care of me and my two buddies. But I do remember that Lindsay was on top of everything as well, always asking if we needed anything as we sat at the bar. I highly recommend this place to hang out, get your groove on and get your drink on.

This place is great! The bartenders are always attentive and everyone else is very friendly. The tater-tot nachos and garlic chicken strips are incredible! Definitely make the effort to go to this place if your are in Pittsburgh...you won't regret.

McFadden's is one of my favorite places to stop into when in Pittsburgh! The food is great and the service is just as great! An all around good time anytime you go in! And they always play the best music to dance too!

Erica and Tyler gave us great food and even better service! Erica makes one mean Bloody Mary. Thank you for giving us a great time before a great Pirates game.

At a Pirate game decided to stop here for food and drinks. Amaretto sours were super yummy...made to perfection! We got the sampler which was really good with a variety of their offerings of appetizers. We chose the razzmatazz wings: very good. We also tried the spinach artichoke crab dip...it was served with pita and potato chips: it was just okay. I ordered the Dublin burger: excellent. And the rest of the family ordered cheeseburgers: all served with double patties, huge, and delicious. You could choose fries, tots or chips. All very good. Overall very pleased with food selections. Everything was ready pretty quickly too. It was a little warm inside, which we were trying to get inside somewhere cool from the heat. Didn't happen. Our server was very nice and prompt with filling our drinks and offerings. She was great! Restrooms were well maintained too.

We were in town for a concert at PNC Park. This place was within walking distance from our hotel. The food was good, the drinks were decent. Prices were fair for this area. Service was good. We decided to get an appetizer.... this pretzel could have been an entire meal!!!! Are about 3/4's of it... Very good!!!

Great spot especially during a game. You can really feel that excited sports fan atmosphere on game days. Only issue is finding parking on game days is impossible. Loved the food and drinks, great prices!

Husband got the Ruben and we had the Philly Cheesesteak Chips to share. They were both fabulous. This is becoming our stop every time we come up for a game.

They play good music at night compared to other spots. Its not my type of bar, but for others interested in dancing, loud music, and average priced drinks it could definitely be your scene. I noticed the floors get sticky a lot of nights I've come there.

Every city I go, I try to search for the best place to truly have some fun when it comes to night life. Traveling through town for The Raiders-Steelers game, we found McFaddens and knew we'd found our spot. Spent from 6p to 130am here, over $250 later in drinks and dinner, called it a night. A fantastic party for both fan bases to get together and have some fun. They had a great DJ, and prices were reasonable, at about $6 per beer average and our meal was somewhere around $12-15. The food was absolutely incredible, bar tenders, security, and all staff in general was all super accommodating and welcoming. The establishment is separated into two bars, a front and back, but the wall can be lifted to expand for capacity crowds. Outside patio is spacious, and gives you a fantastic view of the river and skyline. After about 10p, it quickly turns into a college night life atmosphere and is insanely crowded - which I enjoyed immensely. If you're into partying, want great drinks, and great food and are looking to truly have a good time this is top of my recommendations for Pittsburgh! Awesome atmosphere that I'll never forget and will certainly be returning to when I come back to the city.

The service was actually very good. Took awhile to get our food, but that was because it was so packed of Yankees and Pirates fans. The food was super and I love the beer selections!

I hadn’t been to McFaddens in ages, tho we used to go often enough that they’d hand me my drink as soon as I got to the bar. Sadly, they changed their burgers (previously good) to smashburgers. I’m not a fan of those, so I don’t know how theirs compare. I got a wrap and tho the chips weren’t as good as before, the chicken in my grilled chicken wrap was perfectly prepared & very tender. The egg rolls were also delicious! Service wasn’t great, even before they got crowded, but it was good enough. I was surprised that tho they remodeled some the floor is still the same horrible sticky floor that reminds me of a dive bar or gray party. They also have a bathroom attendant which I (& my allergies) hate. I’m allergic to perfumes and it was horrible. They did allow children in the dining area, which was a surprise and worked well for our group. I’m not sure if this policy (not carding at the door) is in place for games or even all concerts, so if you’re dining with children before a game or show, I’d recommend calling to ask. The location can’t be beaten when going to events at PNC Park. Still a very good option.

Fun and relaxed atmosphere right next to PNC Park. Grabbed a quick lunch right before a game. Friendly, attentive staff. Food came out fast and hot. Ordered Fish and fries and a Reuben. Everything was delicious. Definitely hitting this spot again when we're in town.

I don't expect much from food but my tater tots were amazing!! I ordered the Irish nachos while substituting chips for tots. Staff HUSTLED as we were there prior to a Pirates game. Could be a tad cleaner and less sticky but overall, great job McFadden's!

Stopped here while in town for the weekend. The bar is massive, staff were friendly. The food was mediocre, about what you’d expect from a bar & grill located near professional stadiums.

This is the spot to go after the game. The atmosphere is awesome and the bartender name Darell made great drinks. Pittsburg showed love.
