I thought the food was quite tasty and the prices were pretty awesome. It's a simple type of place, nothing too unique or extravagant. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a side of sweet cornbread.
Both items were very tasty. The pulled pork sandwich came in a nice portion. The price was awesome
Listen, we're not in Kansas anymore. I'm under no illusion that you're going to get real southern BBQ anywhere in Pennsylvania, let alone smack in the middle of the city. So maybe it was because my expectations weren't sky high, but regardless, I was blown away by this joint!! The ribs are fall-off-

One of the greatest hidden gems in Pittsburgh. The entire place has a very chill vibe and the staff are all very welcoming. On top of that some of the most amazing BBQ!! really loved the reaper sauce and the smoked wings. And it was all very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Highly recomme
Southside BBQ was incredible!! ALL the meats were cooked perfectly, the sides were absolutely delicious, that brisket chili was amazing and that's honestly some of the best cornbread I've ever eaten. Well worth the drive to the south side!
We had South Side BBQ cater our wedding reception and every bit of the food was amazing! We got ribs, pork and chicken along with beans, Mac n cheese and cornbread. We loved the food and so did all of our guests. 100% recommend. Very accommodating to us
The food was amazing. The owner came out & checked on everyone inside the restaurant. . Customer service was great. The ribs was better than Showcase BBQ in Homewood. You should definitely come to this place if you want really good bbq food
Their food is truly amazing and I make sure to grab it every time I see their food truck. Visited them today at the Castle Shannon Firemen’s event. Food was on point. The serving size is perfect! I even had to share my chili with my dog because she loves chili that much. Keep up the amazing work! Yo
Cozy little place with great barbecue. The seafood mac and cheese is also not to be missed, I just had it for dinner.
Decent place, the sauces were good and they had a nice variety of heat levels.
The brisket I had was a bit chewy which is why I docked a star but I would come again for sure.
Fast service. Friendly staff. Fish nuggets were delicious. French fries were good, but would've preferred them a little crispier. I didn't like the cornbread at all, and according to the website, that's a popular item.

I was craving BBQ and this hit the spot. I had a roasted chicken with super tasty sauce. They offer a huge variety of yummy sides. Roasted sweet potato, cornbread and baked beans are by far my favorite. I felt like I went to an awesome cookout.
Food was good and service was great. We ordered the smoked wings and jalapeño poppers. Wings could have been spicier.
Me and hubby discovered this place not too long ago. The food is amazing! He got a whole rack of ribs, ghost pepper mac n cheese and I got the pulled chicken sandwich with the slaw on the side and a side of greens. Amazing!!! And well worth the price.
My wife and I booked the South Side BBQ Food Truck for our wedding reception this past weekend. It was excellent! On the day of the event, Pat and his team were a hit, delivering great food and service to our guests. They were on time and professional throughout the event. Even better than the food
