Started ordering from Veltre’s when I worked and lived in Swissvale since1987!! Their pizzas and Italian dogs are the best and everything you order is always fresh and hot!! When my daughter in NY comes home to visit the first thing she wants to do is order the Italian dogs!!
The first time I ordered from them, my cheese pizza was delicious. Thick crust. Perfect taste. The cheese and sauce were good as well. I just wish there was more sauce. Within a week I ordered again. LOL I a veggie pizza and added sausage. So delicious again! Everyone is nice and they are quick.
I ordered a Cheesesteak Hoagie at 6:32pm and it got here at 6:54pm.. 22 min. And it was delicious.

This location has been my go-to for several years now. I've never had a bad meal, and the service is always solid. Their white pizza is some of the best I've ever had. I love that they use chopped tomatoes instead of sliced. Excellent steak sandwiches, and the grilled chicken salad is another favorite of mine. If I am having guests over and we're ordering pizza, this is where I order from. I feel really fortunate having a place like this that's within a 5 minute drive of my home.
Best pizza on the planet. I've never had such amazing pizza in my entire life, and i'd literally SACRIFICE my dog for a extra large pepperoni and sausage pizza from them.
