I have a perfectly valid NYS ID, and got turned away by some newbie bartender because it wouldn't scan on the first few tries. It's an enhanced license with an RFID card in it that lets me get to Canada without a passport..meaning it's like a SUPER-license. It absolutely DOES scan, just takes a little love. Wouldn't even glance at the 8 other forms of ID in my wallet.
Note to bartenders: RFID-enabled licenses take a few tries to scan sometimes. Don't be so insulting unless you're certain....please
The goto place for any 21+ Carnegie Mellon Student. A truly magical place where CMU Computer Scientists, Football frat guys, sorority girls, phd students, professors all grab a Yuengling and drink together. I usually got a shot pitcher from the many that they specialize in. I always got a "Blue motorcycle" or "ectoplasm".
Amazingly cheap, how are they in business??? oh yea, they use Vladamir's Vodka...but they know how to mix it well!
