Great view, great service, and great food! Aladdin's is such a great place to visit when you're out in this part of Rochester. With views of the Erie Canal, our lunch on the first floor was peaceful. Our food was top tier and our server was very kind with a good sense of humor. Will definitely be back 🙂
Love the food. Great portions and something for everyone. Gluten-free options. Wine and beer to go with every dish. Staff friendly and service 10+. If you have room for desserts, great selection. After the meal, a nice stroll by the canal is perfect.
Food was absolutely delicious. Service was to be desired. Long wait to be greeted. We ordered food and drink when we were finally greeted. Didn't receive the drinks (unsweet tea and a glass of wine) until half way through eating our entrees. Thank goodness they provided water when we sat down
Nice spot by the canal overlooking nature. Large plates and portions with lots of food. Honey Dijon dressing is good. Cheesy Eddie’s cakes and baklava.
Awesome restaurant. Mostly very young incredible staff who look out for each other to make sure the customer has a perfect experience. Food was extremely good.
SO good and they have a surprisingly large pasta section, if you're not feeling the more Mediterranean-leaning dishes at the moment. I also really love their tabouleh. Oh and get the carrot cake, you won't regret it. Or the baklava. You really can't go wrong!
Aladdins has been my favorite restaurant for decades. The food is fresh and delicious. It's especially a good option for people who are Vegetarian or Vegan.
So many vegetarian options! There are also many gluten free options, including gf pasta.
I ordered the pasta Limone with grilled chicken but did it with gluten free pasta. Honestly, the gf pasta was over cooked and not Al dente (it was too soft). The dish was different than expected and I think I’d try something different next time.
Their dolmades were delicious!!!! I am excited to come back and trying some other items off the menu and reorder the dolmades.
The service was great and it was so fun sitting next to the canal. Plenty of parking just a short walk away.
We beat the lunch rush! It was absolutely packed with quite a few people waiting when we left. Great sign that it's worth going to.
Located on the Canal, you can eat while enjoying beautiful water views. Lots of outdoor seating and limited inside.
The moussake was fantastic! Highly recommend. My dish came with a Greek salad as well. Pretty big portion and the prices extremely reasonable. Definately will be back.
8/22 ordered the lamb gyro plate. The meat was so good! Pretty and tasty.
Great spot to enjoy fresh Mediterranean food and an amazing view of the canal. The chicken from the chicken Cesar salad was amazing as was the hummus and stuffed grape leaves.
Fresh and tasty food, Nice servers and good athmosphere. Portions are big
I ate here for the first time and it was great. The staff are easy to talk to, friendly and work efficiently. However, I thought some of the lady servers working dressed a bit skimpy. I understand the dress code is the wear black but short shorts and spaghetti straps? Anyway, the location of this place is awesome and the food was tasty. Also, the food was reasonably priced as well. The only major complaint I have is that, the building needs to be renovated. The wood deck and benches in the front of the building need to be resealed. You could easily get a splinter or two here. There was an issue with bees too. I had to be seated inside. A lot of lights inside were not working as well.
Very fast service for a Friday evening! Our salads were fresh, and our chicken was grilled perfectly. We will always recommend Aladdin’s (and both locations are excellent).
This was an extremely relaxing place to eat. They had live music and we sat along the canal during a busy time of day and got a table (outside) in about 8-10 minutes. It's a beautiful place and the service here was great! The waiters and waitresses were super nice. The food was very quick to come especially during a busy time, and we absolutely loved it. We had a fantastic time! :)
Dined here last night and had a very enjoyable time. Our party of four started with the humus appetizer, and for appetizers we had two mixed grill, a gyro special, and raviolis. The appetizer was more than enough for four guys to share, and none of us finished our entrees- the mixed grill especially was piled high with fresh cooked meats, and all around no complaints were made. The desserts were absolutely wonderful, there was 6-7 fresh made to choose from, and we absolutely devoured them.
Pricing was very reasonable, and the wait staff were super friendly and on top of anything we needed.
What can I say about the location other than quaint, charming, perfect for a date night- this was my first time at the little village-esque area and I was blown away. Bravo to all the shops and restaurants for making such a lovely little place.
Omg if you are anywhere near this restaurant you must go. The food, service, and wine are just amazing! You will love the view and everything about this place. Stop what you are doing and just go!
