Can't say enough about the food and the service. Food was awesome! Thanks to Brooke and Michelle for the exquisite service, they made us feel very special! The porterhouse veal was grilled to perfection many thanks to the chef and kitchen staff! Can promise you we will return. 10 stars for sure, you need more stars!

Stopped in after spa treatments, and had a lovely glass of wine and shared the duck meatballs and their ginger-soy chicken wings—delicious!

To start... great wait staff... and she made the experience. We ran a bit late and she made it not to be a problem. She gave us great menu advice (as if we could ever go wrong with such great options) and the atmosphere was elegant. We will be back. Thank you . Hope you take the opportunity to go!

The chips and onion dip where phenomenal. The chips are warmed to perfection and the dip contained chunks of carmelized onion. The chicken filet was tender with just the right amount of lemon glaze. We will absolutely be returning. The only gripe was no Budweiser products on tap or bottle.

Wow!! This place is a secret. Tucked behind a hotel is this five star delight. The menu has so many incredible options we had a difficult time deciding. We ended up ordering the specials (lamb wellington and seabass) so we could come back and enjoy the regular menu options. Everything from the appetizers to drinks was perfection. Excellent pairing of flavors. So impressed! If you're a foodie, give this place a chance!

Great place to treat yourself! Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Servers are awesome- friendly, knowledgeable and on top of everything without being intrusive. They do have gluten free bread and a few gluten free options. There's plenty of parking outside. Definitely make a reservation, even if you are staying at the hotel, because this place is popular with locals as well and there is limited seating. It's on the expensive side, but you would pay about the same for counter service to get a latte and a breakfast sandwich at the coffee shop down the way, so enjoy the great service and better food here instead.

Erie Grill has quickly become our favorite spot to eat in Rochester! Both breakfast and dinner are delicious no matter what you choose and the service is always friendly. Highly recommend!

Everything wonderful, the food, the atmosphere. The bartender was very good, our waitress Lia was spectacular, it was our first time and we will surely return. Highly recommended.

There's a nice view of the canal. Server was great. Atmosphere was good. In my opinion the meatloaf would be better with a little sear on it. The corn that was served with the meatloaf had bits of silk and husk in it. It was good but a little annoying to find in it. There was also a woman that came by several times that seemed to be checking on tables. She was wearing a dress that I would wear while gardening. It was perplexing.

We spontaneously stopped here for lunch while we were out riding our bikes on the canal trail . Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Our food was delicious and good sized portions. We will definitely come back. The only downside would be there is no secure bicycle parking available. Thankfully the front desk women were gracious enough to allow us to lock our bikes outside the door in the courtyard. Please consider adding some bike racks, especially since you are right off the canal trail.

Ambience is good, and not too crowded. They have limited menu options. We had pancakes, fried egg sandwich and salmon bagel. Everything tastes delicious. Items are bit pricey, for two members we spent $70 including tip. Place is clean and tidy. It’s beside the erie canal, and the view from the seating is really good. There is a walk way outside beside the canal. May be after food, we can have a little stroll beside the canal. Overall it’s a good experience. Only downside is, it’s pricey.

Found seating to be uncomfortable as chairs are too low for the table. Atmosphere is clean, very modern but noisy. Ordered a bloody Mary which had a lemon wedge as the sole accoutrement and absolutely no flavor. Server did replace this with a glass of wine as she said there was no bartender working. I had the crab cake, menu lists it with roumalde, not the case but tasty. Was served on shaved lettuce which had seen better days. The same could be said for the chicken salad my companion ordered. Side salad was fresh and flavorful. Gave it 3.stars since view is lovely and server was attentive but for the price I would not recommend it.

Our go to restaurant when visiting family in Rochester. There are beautiful views of the Erie Canal from the dining room and bar. The food is excellent. The Panko chicken cutlet is delicious as is everything else I've had. I always look forward to seeing Rene, the lovely server for breakfast. She always asks about my family when I visit. All of the staff are excellent and always are very welcoming. If you are in the Rochester are I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Finding ourselves in Rochester for the night, we were delighted to come across the Erie Grill. The view of the canal was nice, the food very good and the service even better. That we could walk back to our room made the evening complete.

Excellent atmosphere and food, really enjoyed the Turkey Reuben and salad. Knocked off a star because the craft beer I got seemed like the keg was a bit overdue for a change.

Very upscale atmosphere with views of the Erie Canal. On the pricy side. The All American Breakfast (eggs, bacon, potato) was $20. Coffee is $4. Nice experience though and we enjoyed the stop.

On the positive side, the views of the canal were truly amazing and the upscale modern atmosphere was really impressive. The wait staff was also friendly and efficient, which added to the overall experience. However, I wasn't too thrilled with the breakfast - it was overpriced and nothing special. The prices were also a bit steep for my liking. Additionally, while we were seated near the window, we noticed numerous dead bugs around the sill, as well as on the light fixture above us. For a restaurant that charges such high prices, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness. On another occasion, I ordered the Turkey Reuben and salad which were both excellent. However, the craft beer I got seemed like the keg was a bit overdue for a change, which was a bit disappointing. Despite the mixed experience, I would still recommend Erie Gill for the food and the amazing view, and the mimosas were really good too.

We are staying in the attached hotel and had dinner here upon arrival. I asked if there were other vegetarian options since there wasn't much on the menu. The chef gave me an excellent option to take the base of a fish dish already on the menu (rice, potato, sweet potato, corn, green beans in a yellow coconut curry) and sub tofu fillets for the fish. It was beautifully presented and so delicious!! Total win. The server was hustling in a crowded space and took good care of us as well. Would definitely recommend!!

I only stopped in for a drink at the bar, and the bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable about our city and surrounding areas being able to give visitors a great experience.
