They have expanded over the years but the Basin remains to be the best of them all. Classic NY style pizza that has been around forever but hasn’t lost its taste. Their pizza will forever be apart of my childhood. Whenever I visit home I make sure to stop by and grab a slice of buffalo chicken. You
Ordered pizza today ahead of the Bills game and wow- do they have a system at this location. I was impressed. Even with the insane amount of orders they had, I was able to pick up my sheet pizzas in a reasonable amount of time and they were a HIT. thank you Pontillo’s in the Basin!
Just got a med pepperoni. Outstanding. This location is known for its quality and it didn't disappoint.

The BEST pizza in the area. I used to drive out here from Rochester just to eat this pizza. And they never stress you about (or charge for) taking extra souffle cups of blue cheese or boss sauce! If you visit during lunch hours, they have loads of pizza varieties to buy by the slice! In and out in <
Best Pizza on the east side of rochester. It is like a well oiled machine. They just rip pizzas at a pace that would make your head spin. Even though they do crazy volume the pizza is always fantastic.
The most reliably good of the local Pontillo’s locations. A good assortment of slices available most of the time, and they pump out a quality pie. While not my favorite pizza in the area, its comfortably better than the other prominent Rochester multi-location pizzerias, and a very good za overall.
I’m not from NY State and I know locals tell me a chain type joint. But service efficient friendly. As for the pizza. I loved it. Best I’ve had being from Midwest. Crust is delish! My favorite spot while staying in Victor.
I came here because I saw that they had the old school pizza oven. The reason why I like the pizza ovens is because a produces a crusty bottom. Due to my preference, I usually get thin crust pizza. The pizza was amazing. The pizza is top lightly and this helps one recognize that pizza is all in the
Pizza is delicious as always. It's cramped in there at lunch, they never have hot slices ready to go, they always have to warm it up. When in a hurry I wouldn't stop here at all.
The best pizza in Rochester. I’ve been coming here my whole life. Out of all the other pizzas I’ve had, it remains my favorite pizza. Ingredients are fresh, the dough is phenomenal, and every bite is savory.
Best buffalo chicken hands down, staff are usually rude, though. Don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna keep ordering pizza from here.

Some of Rochester's best pizza! Bushnell's Basin location pumps out the best quality. They were busy and their store is tiny, but they got me in and out quickly, which I appreciate. The food was delicious as always!
It had been 20 years since I had a Pontillo’s Pizza until this weekend. It is still just as amazing as it was back in the 90s.
