Great diner and fast service! We stopped for a quick dinner on our way to see the Eagles concert in Indy. I asked for the cod blackened instead of battered. They said no problem! Delicious and homemade tartar sauce and slaw! Food was great and I'll definitely return!
I'll add that the elderly gentleman next to us asked the server if they had beef manhattan since it wasn't on the menu. He asked the cook and the cook made him one! That's awesome old school diner service! 😎
We've been to Metro several times and have never been disappointed. Food is great, even their sausage gravy is a grade above most restaurants. Bloody Mary's are fantastic. We highly recommend this Metro Diner.

Great food and service. Always busy, but they keep the wait short. Had a great twist on shrimp and grits. Definitely will be back!
We enjoyed our breakfast so much. Everyone was so polite and food was amazing and accommodating to gluten free individuals, which is hard to find. Service was so fast. Our server, Donna was amazing! She made the experience all the better too. Friendly, helpful, and really fast! Thank you! We are not from the area or this would be a regular restaurant for us.
The Metro Diner have the friendliest staff. Full of smiles and great at their job. Your drink never goes dry! The food is delicious, but let me say that their coffee ☕ is absolutely the best cup of coffee in town. They have a children's menu too. I highly recommend this spot! They also are handicap ♿ accessible!
Good fried chicken, real good mash potatoes with gravy! Nice diner, need to come back and try the breakfast. Friendly staff!
