El Palacio is a good local spot with pretty good Salvadoran cuisine. It’s on the pricey side for a local place in Plainfield but it’s worth trying. I ordered twice and twice I got different prices . The third time I came my rice was completely undercooked , my chicken was undercooked and the ladies there were completely rude . Its expensive and there not consistent with the food quality. Your basically taking a chance. do not ask for a refund

Order through door dash ; I ordered baleadas , pupusas and empandas . Everything was fresh and yummy. The only thing is that the baleadas needed a little bit more beans and was missing cheese but other than that everything super good.
