Town bagel is authentic New York style bagels! Very freshly baked, generous portion size. This is my go to breakfast place. The service is quick, food is fresh, coffee is perfect to get your morning going. Town bagel offers a large variety of sandwiches and salads. Plenty of parking and easy access.
This place is what bagel dreams are made of. Quick service, great options and affordable. I was visiting from Denver and craving a good bagel (NJ native) and they didn't disappoint.
This place is crisp clean affordable efficient and got it all! Specials galore and fresh. The staff is very courteous and the food is great. I had a nice conversation with the 38 year proprietor Steve. Definitely recommended.
Highly recommended across Facebook groups in the local area. Went in for my first visit - impressive clean, sanitized ambience, large airy space, lots of light. COVID precautions taken well and followed through.
The bagels were spot on. Tried the plain and poppy. Bold, just the right amount of firmness, tastes fresh.
Service was quick, efficient, polite.

We are from Virginia, but my husband is from New York. We were traveling and craving New York bagels. And we sure did find the Best spot. We found Town Bagel to be remarkably friendly and clean with many many choices. Too many to make up our minds, so we went with basics. An everything bagel with cream cheese and coffee. It was just like tasting a piece of New York. The staff was immense and very busy. Transitioning from Breakfast to lunch. There are huge glass windows behind the bakery counter to see a large staff making everything fresh in the kitchen. The coffee was fresh and made to order. We love the motivational sign at the entrance. This shop is in a shopping center, with ample parking. As busy as it was we could tell it was very well run and managed. Everyone had a job and everyone did their job. Definitely going back tomorrow.
Great for breakfast, but can get crazy busy especially on the weekend because it's so good. Go in prepared to wait a little before getting to the service counter.
We had a 6 ft hero from Town Bagel (Plainview) for a birthday celebration. We asked for irt to be divided into 3 sections, American, Italian, and Grilled Chicken. They sliced each section into individual slices, and were presented in 2 beautiful large baskets. The cold cuts were very fresh, the grilled chicken was not dried out, and the hero’s were excellent! They also included Mac send Colé slaw salads and condiments (mustard and pesto mayo). Very well done Town Bagel!! Thank-you for making my day special!
The bagels and food were excellent. Customer service not so much. Speaking Spanish under your breath about your customers probably not a good idea Victor. Ya never know who can understand you on the other side of the counter.

As an Uber driver, I am impressed at how on time they are every time I picked up an order from here.
As a customer, I recommend coming here. Even if they are busy from open to close, they'll always get it right and do it quickly all within 5 minutes of your order.
There is a reason why they are busy all the time, and that's because they are AWESOME! I cannot stress enough how much I like Town Bagel and their staff.

Been coming here for years. Bagels are consistently delicious, service is quick and friendly, and all of the staff are very hard working. Only complaint is that their lox is insanely expensive. Get the lox cream cheese instead!

We left NY nearly 25 years ago, but when we think "bagel shop," it is still the Town Bagel that we think of. We never miss a chance to eat at the Town Bagel whenever we visit NY. Simply the best.
Great personal service from great floor tesm & owners. Best bagels in Plainview area. The only place near that also carries tofu choices as well. Everyone we I know loves this place too...congrats!
The bagels are good and everything is fresh. I was very annoyed by one thing though. I purchased a gift card for $100 and found a charge of $103.75. Please. It's a gift card. I had no idea of a credit card fee from this place. Nothing on the receipt. I called up and was told there is a sign at each register. Well, it wasn't visible enough. How about you tell each customer there is a credit card fee? All other places do.
Ate breakfast here 2 of 2 days, and brought 1 for the long ride home. Tasty Bagels with nice selection of cream cheese. Yum.
