food was good but they need to advertise online and offline that between 330-430 the restaurant is closed.. we walked in a few weeks ago and couldn't get any service, the owner told us the staff is taking a lunch break; very disappointing because we drove one hour to grub -- nihari could've been better, it was delicious but what about the sauce and ghee? nihari sauce is supposed to be all over the place -- owner doesn't have the best attitude (don't know why) -- someone needs to be in the kitchen at all times prepping food, 330-430 pm are primetime, restaurant hours imo, there shouldn't be an excuse to close down shop in the middle of the day, especially when we're driving from NY or boston, not many other good desi restaurants in CT, this is one of the best though, so friendly note to owner & staff to keep the kitchen & service going from 3-5 pm -- last note, why doesn't restaurant have chicken & rice? pic below is from jackson heights ny, there are 1000 shops in NYC that have chicken & rice, DC also, plz get chicken & rice on the menu such as the pic posted -- guarantee more ppl would come and sales would increase if the restaurant served the latest & greatest

We ordered chicken biriyani and samosas from them. Was so fresh, hot and super delicious. Price was very reasonable at $10.99 only and quantity was pretty sufficient. Will definitely visit again. Thumbs Up 👍🏽

Worth the yelling The owner will voice any and all inner thoughts, but the food is absolutely incredible. Definitely try the mutton briyani if you’re going here, and order a bit early but not too early.

Asia Darbar is just a very fine restaurant but also provider of raw fresh mutton & Chicken for my family since couple of years. The quality of meat is fresh can be customized as per the requirement. When we dine at the restaurant, Bihari kabab, paya, mutton kuna & garlic nanna are our favorites. Their Shahi faluda is exceptionally delicious, too. Totally recommend for a family meal.
