Great option for mexican food with good quality and quantity. This is one of the fav place of my hubby . Visited this place once and ordered there recent addition of coffee and some vegetarian food. Food and drink both were awesome. Just that was too hungry but food took time to serve. So go here when with go amount of time
I am surprised at the negative reviews. I have been here many times and have always had good service (maybe not always great), great food and the place is nice and clean. The have great chips and salsa. They also have queso to which we always add ground beef. It is up there with the best. I tend to order the brisket tacos which are flavorful. I have also had their tortilla soup which was very good. They also have great margaritas at nice prices. They have happy hour all day Sunday through Thursday and Friday from 3 to 6. It is a friendly neighborhood spot that I will return to anytime.
Good Food Didn't Know This Was Here. We have lived near this area for almost 20 years. I have no idea how long this place has existed, but I did not know about it until today. My daughter's friend said she had to try the Bean Salsa.
The outside sign is not lit up. It's hard to find in the dark. Inside, the place has warm sage walls with black accents. The tables are wood with random plants here and there. It's cozy.
The service is quick, too quick. This was a our first visit. Before we even cracked the menu, our server asked if we were ready. As soon as we finished our meal, they took the plate even if the other was not finished. When I finished, he took my plate in seconds. Within minutes I had the check in hand. We were in and out in 25 minutes. That's too fast if you want to enjoy yourself.
The actual meal was great. My beef enchilada was spiced just right. The beef burrito avenue was fairly large. We enjoyed every bite. Oh, and the reason for coming...Bean Salsa. It was great.
We'll be back, but I hope they slow down and let me enjoy it.
Perfect Hole-in-the-Wall. This restaurant is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall gem. The service is average, the place is ALWAYS packed with people (get there before 6:30 unless you don't mind a wait outside), the manager is great, and the food will blow you away. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed.
Great food!. This place has really good Mexican food. The chips and salsa are wonderful and they even bring out a delicious bean dip that is borderline addictive. I had the brisket enchiladas and they were perfect. My only regret is that I didn't try a margarita!
Order the salsa mex fajitas, you will be stuffed.
Love It. My family absolutely loves this place! We use to live nearby but then moved to frisco. They openned a location in frisco but it is not as great as plano. This location my family enjoys the: chicken chimichangas, spinach and chicken quesadillas, sour cream chicken enchiladas, salmon salad, fish tacos...etc. and so much more. We greatly enjoy the white queso. Management knows what they are doing here! I love the cozy feel of the restaurant. It's a 25 minute drive now to get back here but the food and service is soooo worth it!
Great little place. The salsa tastes fresh and is very good. The bean dip was good, too. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were served atop a huge bed of delicious Carmelized onions. The pico de gallo was also fresh and flavorful. The portion was large so I split it in half and took the rest home for tomorrow. Service was fast. My soda was filled every time it got half way empty. The prices were great. I am happy to see that they offer several healthy options like salmon with grilled veggies, so I can eat there when I am watching my weight. Will go back!
This is a great restaurant with good food and great service. I was completely impressed! We will definitely be back.
Unique find!!. We've been going here since the day they opened. Great service, excellent food, and unique menu items that have incorporated flair from El Salvodor with traditional Mexican favorites. The complementary black bean dip is addictive. The tequila bar is well stocked as expected. The relaxed atmosphere lends itself to either a great date night or a quaint dinner with friends. My only complaint: wait time on weekend nights has become an issue - time to kick out game stop next door and expand!! ;)
Great Tex Mex. The lunch menu is magnificent. Most items at 7-9$ range. Great salsa too. I got the carne asada and would definitely recommend it. It was cooked medium and comes with a vinegar pico on the side which I found to be very unique and tasty. The margarita on the rocks was good as well. I will definitely return.
I love this restaurant! The salsa and bean dip are both fabulous. We enjoy the food, dependable service, and personal greetings we receive every time we go. If you visit at the most popular dinner times, expect to wait. But it is worth it!
Worth Your While. Everything on the menu is great and the service is attentive. They need to expand soon to hold the crowds on Saturday night but other than that just wonderful food.
Best Tex mex I've had in years. Great service. Ask to sit with Greg
Wonderful nonchain neighborhood restaurant. Nothing bad on the menu. Pull pork tacos are great! My families default Tex-Mex place
Great fish tacos! Nice, relatively new neighborhood restaurant where you can get a table on a weekend night (at least for now).
Excellent food, excellent service. This is a perfect neighborhood TexMex restaurant.
I've been to this place twice and both times my meals have been GREAT! Carne Asada was awesome. Restaurant is clean and service is friendly. This is my new favorite restaurant!
