I seldom rate a restaurant with 5 stars and this one is well worth the rating. We happened upon this after dinner as we were looking for ice cream. What a treasure we happened upon as we found more than ice cream. This is a nice sit down table service dessert cafe that is casual enough to pop in in shirts and t-shirt or fancy enough for a special occasion or a date.
Tonight we happened into the take out portion of this restaurant and were invited to sit down in the restaurant for dessert. We ordered coffee ($2.25)and cappuccino ($3.50) to start. We chose a special of the day which was a lemon blueberry mini bundt cake with a raspberry sauce, a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream ($8.00). The light lemon flavor paired with the fresh blueberries in a cake that is soft inside and just crisp enough on the outside. This was the perfect blend of sweet and tart and I would get this again and again.
We also ordered the Bread Pudding with a brandy sauce and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream ($6.25). The bread pudding was a perfect consistency and a nice vanilla taste. The brandy cream is light and very tasty.
Service is warm and friendly and just the right speed.
The restaurant has nice tables for two or four with white table cloths and linen napkins. Nice classic rock/soul/r & B music plays at a nice level where you can still have a nice conversation. They have a nice menu featuring cakes, pies, crepes coffee and espresso drinks, sodas and a selection of wines ranging from $6 - $8.75 per glass.
This is a magnificent dessert cafe that we will be returning to and bringing friends and family too.
We had the pleasure of having Tani bake our wedding cake for our wedding on Saturday February 10, 2018 at the Wishing Well Barn. We had our first cake tasting at Tani’s For Dessert and we immediately chose her as our cake baker and did not even go for any more tastings anywhere else! If that doesn’t tell you how amazing she is then I don’t know what does! She is an excellent baker and cake decorator. We met with her twice and every time she was a pleasure to work with. She helped us get the most for our money and helped us chose a cake that was best for us and our wedding guests. Her cakes are to die for!!! Thank you, Tani, for baking and decorating a perfectly delicious and beautiful cake for our wedding day!

This is a fantastic place for dessert! Everything looks amazing but it tastes even better. I just went with family and had a fantastic evening eating dessert there. I had a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee. That maybe the best cinnamon roll I've ever eaten in my life. on top of everything else the service was delightful and friendly. This is a great place!!! Stopped by to get something sweet to-go from the bake shoppe but ended up eating in the restaurant! It did not disappoint! We ordered the Bananas foster and the red velvet cake! Both were so yummy! Perfection!
Went here tonight for a quick dessert, was a different place then we thought, didn’t expect it to be a sit down restaurant. But the ambience was really cool and perfect for the occasion. Will be back both cakes where amazing and totally worth the price.
Pretty good! Went for lunch and the salad was not very good. The pizza lasagna was great though! Creme brûlée was okay and the coconut creme pie was fantastic!
I love this place. I go at least once a week and I'm never disappointed. (unless they're out of cinnamon rolls)
Stopped by Tani’s this afternoon for some dessert. This was my first visit. They have a great menu with lots of options. We had coffee, pecan pie and banana foster. The server that greeted us explained the menu and the dessert option. While reviewing the menu, Lloyd came out to greet us and asked us about ourselves and gave some great insight. When we finished out dessert, he brought out a sample of the key lime pie which was fantastic.
It’s a great environment with great food and great people. We will definitely be back again.
