I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Las Vegas Cuban restaurant in Plantation, and overall, it was a decent experience. Here's my review:
Let's start with the positive aspects. The food at Las Vegas Cuban restaurant was undeniably good and full of flavor. Each dish I tried was carefully prepared and had that authentic Cuban touch. From the tender lechon asado to the savory picadillo, the flavors were spot-on and left me satisfied. The portions were generous, making it a great value for money.
While the server was attentive and efficient in taking our orders, there was a certain level of inconsistency in their service. At times, they seemed a bit overwhelmed, leading to delayed responses or forgetfulness. Nevertheless, they were polite and tried their best to ensure our dining experience went smoothly.
Now, onto the area that needs improvement: the atmosphere. As I stepped into the restaurant, I couldn't help but notice that it felt a bit dated and in need of a refresh. The decor and ambiance could benefit from some modernization to create a more inviting and comfortable environment for guests. By revamping the interior design and adding some contemporary touches, the Las Vegas Cuban restaurant would elevate its overall dining experience.
In conclusion, the Las Vegas Cuban restaurant in Plantation offers a delectable culinary journey through the flavors of Cuba. The food is undoubtedly delicious, and the service, although with some room for improvement, is satisfactory. However, the outdated atmosphere takes away from the overall experience. With a rejuvenated ambiance, this place has the potential to become a top-notch dining destination.
Old school restaurant, still has family feel when you eat here. My family's been coming here since late 80s. It's dependable flavors with good service. You are called 'sir or ' madame' in Spanish. Reasonable prices. Did I mention the food? Loved to pig out on garlic bread when I was young and fill up before my dinner arrived. Hope this place stays long after my time.
Fantastic restaurant. Great food. Not much else to say. If I lived near I would eat here multiple times a week. Beautiful table bread, soft and fresh with a wonderful crust. The shredded beef was sublime. The rice and beans were without reproach. I couldn't think of any way they can be improved. Plantains were nicely done too.
Overall this was a great eating experience. Someone I ate with said the Cuban sandwich was not that good but the fries were perfect. Service was good. We had a party of 10. Interior atmosphere is decent.
I'd definitely recommend checking out this place! The food was amazing and delicious! The service was a bit slow though, with us having to wave and signal several times just to order or get another drink, so that could be improved a bit. Atmosphere was alright, with some nice decorations but it's quite empty inside and, at least during our visit, the AC was set to very low and we were all a bit chilly.
Una palabra, FANTASTICO!!... Service outstanding, and the food phenomenal. A must if in the area, and want to try some good Cubano food.
The service as soon we walked in was great. We sat down for maybe 5 mins. We ordered. The food came out in less than 15 minutes. It was hot and very very flavorful. We asked for hot sauce and it is good too (lol). We even purchased the house salsa. I reccomend this Cuban cuisine to everyone. When I come back for Fort Lauderdale I'm definitely coming back . Thank you for the good food. The staff are excellent as well.
Every time we go there is empty. Most we have seen 6 other people. But the food is good and the servers are nice.
I usually get Vaca Frita and it has good flavor. The black beans as well.
Our server was very professional and had great customer service, the food was delicious and very affordable, the decor and seating was a bit dated. I very much enjoyed eating here and would go back again.
Delicious and crujiente plantains chip, “chicharritas!” La crema catalana was also pretty good. My husband ordered ropa viaja with black beans and he love them too. If you are looking for an authentic Cuban’s flavor dishes, this is the place!
Food today was ON POINT breaded steak was cooked just right. These thin steaks are sometimes left in a little too long and sometimes end up looking like the soles of your shoes.
Together with the tasty black beans and very sweet plantains it was delish!
Flan was very good as well.
My only criticism is the atmosphere. This is a very old building and it's kinda dark and antiquated inside. They need to modernize the inside of this restuarant. The booths are just plain old. Add some live music and it would be a great place to GO OFTEN. IMO
The service is always great. I always enjoy the food but the atmosphere is just ok. The picture is from Tamal with pulled pork as you can see it has lots of onions its my new favorite comfort food.
Best servers ever. Amazing food, super fast and delicious. The People works there are very kind! Definitely I’ll back.
I just want to say that I moved here from New Jersey, Miami and have tasted hundreds of Media Noches. Las Vegas in Plantation makes the BEST Media Noche Sandwich. You won't be disappointed.
Scrumptious food and excellent service I highly recommend that you find one of their location and enjoying the Latin experience. But I think my location in plantation is the best just my biased opinion. Hahahah!
We arrived late, 30 minites to closing. I hate doing that, but they were very friendly and attentive. The food was really good. I had Masas de Cerdo. Wifey had the Palomilla. I've always liked the Las Vegas locations. Great food and friendly people!
