We tried Zuru for the first time on Monday and are back again on Wednesday. The food is incredible! The server Keri is so delightful and always has a huge smile. She is so pleasant and inviting as well. I cannot speak highly enough for the food. The quality, taste, etc. makes you want more and more! I could eat here at least 2-3 times a week! Please keep up the good work!

Zuru. Open for six months in Plantation, the chain originated in Japan and opened a Miramar location first. I got here in time for Happy Hour. Half-off beers, so I got a Sapporo Black, a beer I’ve never had before; it’s similar to a Negra Modelo or maybe an export Guinness. Several appetizers are half off as well (I posted menus). I got the fried shrimp bao and the gyoza — both are products brought in. Not bad, but not at, say, Ramen Lab level, which makes both. The tonkotsu pork bone stock is an 18-hour process. I got to try some plain (at the end), and it’s very rich and delicious. I totally would recommend a regular tonkotsu. I took a photo so you could see it. However, the soup I ordered was a spicy tonkotsu with a black garlic condiment upgrade. The chef had a very heavy hand on the black garlic, which has a very bitter flavor. I wouldn’t do that again. The noodles and the other ramen components were very good, although the bamboo shoots have a funky flavor. The hostess had the chef remake the soup, so I took a regular tonkotsu home—big points on service. The place according to the hostess never gets super busy — I was surprised by this given how busy a plaza this is, so maybe unusual customer dynamics in play.

Nice and cozy. Soon as you go inside you are welcomed with nice and friendly smiles. My dad and I sat outside, it was pretty full inside. The staff were so sweet and quick. The food came out in a matter of minutes after ordering it. They were very helpful with answering questions about the food. That made it a lot easier to pick what I wanted. There is a meal there for every type of eater. They also put a sticker on the table and it was a mosquito repellent 😭! Tears of joy. The appetizers were my most favorite. Ramen was good, decent amount of options. Chef also checked in on all of us to see how we were enjoying the food. 🥰 We will be back soon!

This Japanese spot is delicious. Very good food and tasty. You need to come by and try the fried octopus balls. Tonkotsu spicy 🌶️ is bomb. We also had the fried octopus and Japanese fried rice. Love their Japanese greeting when you come in and leave. For sure a quint date night spot.

We are so delighted with Zuru Ramen Bar - Plantation ❤️ . We ordered appetizers, entrees and a boba tea. For appetizers, we got gyoza, Korean wings, and calamari - the calamari was the winner for me. It was soooo delicious, fresh, lightly fried, crispy and just all around my favorite dish of the night. Do note that these were tentacles, not squid rings so just FYI, it didn't bother me though. For our entrees, we got the rice and noodles to try a variety of dishes - we got mazesoba, yuzu ramen, chashu pork don, and spicy tonkotsu ramen, all were amazing. Their chashu pork was tender and soft, they marinate their meats very well and their broth is absolutely creamy and well made. I also got their brown sugar boba tea which was good. Usually boba teas are a hit or miss at restaurants but I am happy with their teas. The restaurant was clean and well decorated! They have a super cute alleyway that leads you to the bathroom but it gives you a little moment of Japan Lastly, the service was impeccable. Two waitresses were helping us and they were so quick and attentive. I believe one of the ladies might be the manager, her name is Nuch, and she was amazing! She walked us through every dish and explained the process of the ramen was made and was super passionate. Overall, this place is a thumbs up. With their wide selection of noodles, rice dishes, drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), and appetizers, you will find something to enjoy at Zuru Ramen 🍜

So I’m always on the hunt for the best Ramen place in South Florida, especially after having tried the best from Japan. This place definitely is legit, down to the seasoned eggs. A lot of ramen spots skipped this very important element of ramen, the seasoned egg. They think that a lot of people do not notice this, but I definitely notice. I hope this restaurant never stops serving seasoned eggs. I had a black garlic version, and I was impressed, it brought back wonderful memories of when I was in Japan. Will be bringing my daughter here soon, because we are always on the hunt to find good ramen spots, and this place made the list.

Great atmosphere and customer service. The tonkotsu ramen base was good but the noodles are a bit different from what I’ve seen at most ramen joints—overall it was decent. The fried rice, however, had too much black pepper. The apps— bao buns and shrimp lollipop were great.

I came to the soft opening and boy I wasn’t disappointed. The depth of flavor in the broth was out of this world. I met the the owner/chef and was very impressed with his passion for creating excellent food and providing an even grater amount of excellence in every dish. This place has raised the bar on Ramen. 🍜 Don’t walk, run to get your bowl of Ramen!

I love ramen and I’ve tried a lot different places and Zuru Ramen has become my new favorite. The fact that they serve Boba is the cherry on top. Their selection of ramen is the broadest I’ve seen so far including black garlic broth and even brothless. The appetizers are delicious as well. Finally the ambience is immersive and something worth seeing. Will be back!

Edit: I still love this spot but I’ve been noticing the food isn’t consistent sometimes. For instance, the white rice sometimes will have an amazing flavor where you can eat it plain and sometimes it just tastes like plain white rice. I don’t even want to take a star off because I really love this spot and plus they just opened but they do need to work on the consistency. Amazing. I feel blessed to live so close to this spot. Some of the highest quality Japanese cuisine I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone is super friendly and I haven’t had a single item there that I didn’t enjoy. They also gave me some free sake as I waited for my to go order which was incredible.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The atmosphere inside is really nice and they usually play Japanese music. The ramen is phenomenal. Their lunch specials are great and I will be eating there very often. Staff is always very kind as well, and the food comes out pretty fast. Bao buns are delicious!

Nice little spot here in Plantation. The takoyaki octopus balls were amazing. First time we've ever tried that. Super flavorful, and the egg salad that its served on was a unique and delicious touch. Korean wings were on point. Full of flavor and they were served piping hot and stayed crispy with all of the sauce. The chicken and pork bao buns were packed with flavor as well. We went just to have a few apps, but will definitely be back to try the Ramen. 100% a must try if you haven't been.

First time but definitely not the last. The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. The presentation was like eating a work of art. Thank you. I will be back

Great new spot that took over the location of one of our long time staples. It's a pretty small dining room and they did a fantastic job redecorating and using the space well. Menu was concise and everything looked amazing with a lot of variety. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was friendly, but staff seemed a little green. A few hiccups, but just normal "new restaurant" issues. We'll definitely be coming back. Hope to make this a new neighborhood haunt!
