We celebrated a birthday party here and had good experience. Unfortunately, one of the dishes came overly salty.
The service was very spotty. Our server might have been new, or inexperienced. We didn’t get water. One of the wine bottles never got served despite being chilled in ice.
When you have a large party and your gratuity is mandatory, service should also be paid attention to.

We were a rather large party. We were celebrating an anniversary. It is a cute little place. I was happy to see that there were gluten-free and dairy free options for us, and they were more than happy to accommodate any other needs we had. The pasta dishes could have used more flavor. The stake was cooked to perfection (I wish I would have ordered the stake!)
I would return, but I would not order pasta, which was disappointing because that's why we wanted to go.
My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here the night before our wedding and we are so happy we did! We had around 50 guests and reserved the private dining room. Rayma was our point of contact from the beginning. She is very friendly, easy to get a hold of, patient, and very accommodating. We were able to have a table set up for picture frames and were also able to have assigned seating. Rayma and the staff made sure that each table had the right amount of plates set up to match our seating arrangements. There was even a high chair set up for one of our toddler guests. The staff was also able to accommodate any dietary restrictions and stayed back well past closing time to be there for our party. The food and desserts were amazing! Our guests were very happy and also stuffed! Thank you to Rayma and the Pastas Trattoria staff for such a wonderful and memorable night!
Pastas were pretty good. Too many tomatoes in the capellini. Fairly expensive for what we got, but it did the job as we were in town for an event at the fairgrounds. If you’re looking for a good little Italian joint to grab some food, this might be your place.
The calamari was rubbery. The pumpkin ravioli was buried under a mountain of greens. It was just cheese ravioli with pieces of sliced pumpkin as a garnish. The eggplant was burnt and why it left the kitchen looking like it did is a mystery. Only ate a few bites that were not burnt from the eggplant. The bread was the highlight of the meal. The plate of oil for the bread was over powered by the tablespoon of garlic. Surprisingly the server didn't ask if there was something wrong with the eggplant or offer something else from the menu. For a white table cloth restaurant I expected better.
We were staying in Pleasanton and the bf chose this place for dinner. The service was great. The food amazing. I had the double cut pork chops. Huge portion! Was really good. Bf had seafood risotto which was also really good.
Cozy place to have a multiple course dinner if you're hungry for flavorful food. Very attentive service and open kitchen atmosphere makes it feel like home.
We finally found another good Italian restaurant in the area! The red bell pepper sauce is very tasty, the burrata bread wit OO was rich and tasty. Loved their tiramisu too. Quick service and nice outdoor seating. Lot of vegetarian options.
This place was great! Service was excellent and the food was so delicious! We are looking forward to going back and trying other dishes.
I have been here twice and both were excellent. Yesterday I went with 13 friends they gave us a location so we didn't have to whisper, the service was wonderful and the food tasted great.
Wonderful food, polite staff, and a cute restaurant. It can get very noisy when full and the staff seemed to slow down as tables filled. A bowl of any soup is really a big bowl and a whole meal on its own.
The atmosphere was nicely decorated. The food was good. The service was below average. We had to ask for things that we needed. Like forks and more water. They were not very attentive to what we needed. The servers were friendly when you asked for what we needed. I will not be recommending this restaurant to other people. I was unhappy with my visit. ☹️
