A local favorite in Pleasantville. I have eaten here a couple times but this was my first time getting the Tele Aviv (fish) and it was delicious!! The flavor was bursting out. I do wish that they added a little more filling as the laffa was a bit thick so it was a lot of dry chewing. I will be back
I go here all the time for lunch. I love their healthy options. I feel like itβs the best spot in Pleasantville ππππππ I would post photos but I eat the food so fast... also this salad is AMAZING. Itβs my go to for a pick me up during a long day. Pickled mangos, the spinach the cilantro vinaigrette
Go for three food from Rosie and team great MexIsraeli food at reasonable prices. Such a great combo of Israel and Mexican flavors. try the laffa bread with the mole chicken avocado π₯. Loved the side of chipotle salsa picante. Even better is the fact they now have a location in the top of Greenwich
Stopped by to pick up some lunch on the way up north. Service was pretty good and food in general wasn't bad but I ordered a matzo ball soup that I was looking forward to trying. However it didn't make it into my takeout bag. I would also skip the latke.
*update: I'm glad the owner saw about the
This place is amazing. The food is fresh, unique and delicious. I would say it's worth making a special trip to try their very special food. I can't understand why no one else has thought of combining Mexican and Israeli cuisines. Amazing.
Food is great, popular among locals. Favorite is the Chicken Schnitzel falafel taco, taste great, and Israelisalad is especially good. If you are in pleasantville, this is a must eat. Great lunch and dinner options, staff was friendly and helpful.
Very cool and tasty food! I love the unique Israeli-Mexican blend! My order is always correct & cooked to perfection. Owners are so sweet and hard workers. They also are very accommodating with the new social distancing rules! Canβt wait to come back for more!
Incredible. I have a very high calibre to rate anything in westchester as requiring 5 stars min. This place is one of them. Got their Mexican latkas, beef empanadas, and falafel burger all A+ quality of food. Not huge portions but the quality is amazing. I would always vote for quality over quantity
A paradise for vegans like myself, and vegans with meat-eating companions! I've been going to Falafel Taco since they opened and have yet to find a menu item I didn't like; the prices are wonderful, the food is extremely fresh and ready quickly, and yet the portions and flavor are top notch. My new
Absolutely delicious, and the portions are gigantic for what you pay for. A beautiful Israeli spin on traditional Mexican dishes. The fact that it's the owners of the restaurant making or having their hands in each and every entrΓ©e served shows the love they put in their restaurant. I've been there
Ordered for the first time (free delivery plus $4 promo on Grubhub) and I was not disappointed! Food was delivered on time. Got the shredded brisket bowl with couscous and extra falafel. Very generous portions and the brisket was very tender and juicy. Great flavors! Also got the tomatillo split pea
This place is amazing. I have had at least 5 things so far from here and have been impressed every time. This concept is great and the recipes are awesomely delicious. You can tell this place is really great quality and it doesn't break the bank! I love it!
Falafel Taco is awesome. Owner Jonathan is a CIA grad, and the combination of Israeli and Mexican food and flavors is unique and offers up some great unusual dishes. Great place when you're catching a movie at Jacob Burns. Highly recommend.
What?!?! This spot is so crazily inventive! Such exciting mixes of cilantro and crispy potato and creamy falafel, and fluffy matzoh balls with soft tortilla chips.
The Mexican Latkes are the best latkes I've ever had. The falafel burger is amazing and I'm not even such a fan of falafel. The matzoh
This place is fabulous--Mexican and Israeli fusion! My husband literally went there three days in a row after seeing movies at Jacob Burns. Everything is good-- you can't go wrong. I really liked the street corn chowder and fish tacos and he loves the lamb tacos. If you are vegetarian but like matzo
Delicious mix of Mexican and Israeli flavors. The avocado hummus was freshly made and very yummy. Mexiganoush was different, creative and very tasty. Highly recommend for an easy go to inexpensive take out.
This place is phenomenal!!! Obviously, the falafel was amazing! Tried the empanadas and they were full of flavor. They make all of their own sauces such as habanero, Chipotle, salsa, etc and they sell them too. I will definitely be back!!
Loved having many options as a vegetarian that were different than regular Mexican place / Mediterranean place. The food tasted delicious. The place was small though so it was hard to notice and difficult to find from a car on the street the place is on
Had a great tasting falafel prepared and served by friendly staff ππ
