Haven’t been in for a while just visited this past Saturday. Food is great as always. I wish they would bring back their salted caramel bread pudding back , such a good dessert to have.

Heard a lot about this place. Decided to stop by and try it. Probably the best coffee I've ever had in a little place like that. We got the basic bacon and cheese omelette home fries and toast. Good place for breakfast

We just had our wedding catered by them and I can’t brag enough how fresh and amazing the food was!! It was so delicious the guests were raving about it days after too! The professional relationship we had with Bob organizing everything leading up to the event was great, he was always eager to answer any of our questions or concerns. I couldn’t recommend them enough! 💜
Essl’s Dugout is an absolute gem. The location is cozy and the food is phenomenal. The new owners that took over Bob & Cary are so welcoming and genuinely love the business they’re in. They’ve expanded Essl’s brick and mortar to include a food truck and catering options. The food truck grub is just as outstanding as the restaurant. If you’re in for breakfast you can’t go wrong with a Messl a giant delicious breakfast sandwich that has everything you could possibly want on one roll. If spot the food truck out make sure you get the Smoked Brisket & Queso over French Fries, you will not regret it!
I haven't had the chance to eat here yet. I'm normally delivering sodas here. But they are always busy. A busy restaurant is a sign of a very good restaurant. The staff are super friendly. Stop by and have a meal. And a Vineland Syrup soft drink. The Vineland Syrup driver sent you

When you get there it looks like a hole in the wall, but once you step inside you're greeted by wonderfully welcoming staff. I wish i remember the names of the ladies who served us because of just how unbelievably pleasant they were. Treated us like family the moment we walked in. And the food on top of the amazing service? Oh my goodness this place is a 10/10 everyone in our group loved every single bite, we even talked about how much we loved the place throughout our hour long drive home. Thank you Essl for the hospitality and food that tastes like mama's cooking.
Delicious pancakes and neatly packaged, when I ordered thru DoorDash! Everything was great , and the coffee was hot n fresh 😋☕️
Hey ya'll this place is a best kept secret -a quaint family owned restaurant the food here is the Shigetty Bomb especially their lamb chops (they are to die for) the staff is very friendly ambience is nice and the prices are very reasonable i will most definitely visit again very soon!

Small place with friendly service & super good food. Jalapino cheddar bisquits and sausage gravy is my fave! They cook the pork roll just right. The potatoes are delicious & crispy- I love that they have real home fries! They also give good fruit such as blueberries, strawberries & banana as fruit, not cheap melon. The coffee mugs are huge & their coffee tastes very good. Local favorite!
We used Essl's Dugout last month to cater our wedding for a mid-afternoon/early evening garden wedding and they floored us away. Not to mention I called Bob the owner only about two months in advance from out of state and Bob worked with me primarily over the phone to figure out the type of food we were interested in serving and from there we set up a tasting. Bob also recommended our baker who had an AMAZING cake as well and they were delivered together with a beautiful huge farm table set-up with a GORGEOUS anti pasta display! Thank you Bob and the Essl's team for a wonderful stress-free evening with delicious food! If anyone is looking for a wedding caterer this is your place!!!
