The Cottage is easily Plover’s best kept secret. It’s a quaint little restaurant big on charm and friendly people. The ladies treat you like family whether it’s your first time there or 50th. The made from scratch food is amazing and the portions are very satisfying. I love visiting the cottage for the food, atmosphere and conversation and recommend it every chance I get. Easily 5 stars.

What a great place! Very friendly ghosts, owners, and staff. Coffee was devine, food was delicious! We have been invited to come back and hold our oil classes and workshops here! We are excited about that and will post an event soon!

Yesterday a group of friends from the UP, Janesville area, and in between shared a delicious! lunch in the parlor, and enjoyed some great conversation. The Cottage Cafe was the perfect place for our outing. The food and service were excellent. We hope to return another time soon.

The Cottage Cafe is a great escape to a comfortable, homey place, especially for a great sandwich, good soup, breads and fresh and delicious salads. I've not been there for breakfast, but my friend said their eggs are super good. My friends and I like it.

Even if you're not a believer of the supernatural, you HAVE to eat here. The food is fantastic, reasonably priced, and the service is great! Don't let road construction deter you!

I had the absolute BEST cheese panini, almond croissant and chocolate chip and custard twist pastry in my life. I wish I lived closer so I can go there way more often. Also a charming place to visit!

This place is just lovely. Great history and story. I was just passing through Plover from Milwaukee and need a calm place to eat before continuing my four hour drive. This place was perfect. Very calm and serine. I had a loaded omelette that was delicious and their toast was to die for. Service was wonderful. I wish I had more time to look around and learn more about the history of this beautiful place.

Went to Cottage Cafe with book club today for lunch. Nice menu selection. Something for everyone. Chocolate chip banana cake for dessert- still warm! Took good care of us, putting 7 of use in an upstairs room. Chris talked to us for about 45 minutes after lunch about the history of the house and their paranormal experiences. Had a great time. Relaxing and fun.

Very pleasant environment with home-cooked style food and beverages. The owners are very friendly and also run a ghost-hunting agency, which makes it a little more interesting. The dining room is decorated like a front parlour from the 1930s replete with books. I had a delicious tuna cheese melt on my last visit. Their lavender shortbread is very different, a subtle flavour seldom used in baking.

If you believe in ghosts.... The Cottage Cafe is the perfect place to go! We have caught several spirits in photos we've taken there. The employees and owners are very kind and are also ghost hunters themselves. The food is delicious and I would absolutely recommend it!

Very cozy place to go enjoy lunch or even just a cup of coffee and a turn over. Staff is friendly and funny. The atmosphere is very relaxing, would make a great place to study or do computer work. I highly recommend their pulled pork sandwiches!!!

Such a gem in a small town! The old cottage is said to be haunted and the owners play that up! So much fun. Amazing fresh made pastries! The croissant are to die for!
