Stopped in for lunch and my husband was craving a good clam chowder, and it did not disappoint! Delicious food and a friendly atmosphere.

Good food, great friendly service. Nice choices and the pulled pork & ribs were delicious. The Fried Haddock was perfectly lightly battered and crispy. The onion rings were perfectly battered and whole and crispy. The chocolate madness dessert was yummy as well. Reasonably priced fare too. Nice clean decorated with funny plaques. Lol nice ambiance.

I’m satisfied all and beyond. Portions are huge. Food is fresh and tasty. Lunch comes with an ice cream. Waitresses are amazing! Disclaimer, I’m not a sea food lover

I ate here with my fiance on a recent trip to NH. We ate clam chowder, fried scallops and the fried haddock sandwich. The space is a little older feeling, but still very charming and welcoming. The staff was all so kind and seemed to be genuinely enjoying their work! Food was all well cooked and exactly as expected. If you are looking for a place to indulge and fill up after a ski day, this is your place! The only caveat would be dessert was very very mediocre. Nothing special but other than that this place is worth your time!

I work across the street and get lunch quite often here. Always Delicious. My favorite is the Pastrami Reuben! I had one today and it was Over The Top! Soo Good! I also like that they switched to cardboard containers.

Amazing food, great staff and something for everyone. I was amazed by the portion sizes for the price and the quality was top notch! I had one of the specials, chicken and shrimp scampi which came with a salad and ice cream sundae for dessert (and under $15 too!). The scampi was divine and I enjoyed it for a couple more meals since it was huge! The ice cream was also delicious and the hot fudge, whipped cream and cherry on top was the perfect way to finish off a delicious meal. My mom, daughter and I stopped in for lunch on our trip up north to Lincoln and although our trip didn't go as planned (flat tire when we went to leave George's), the food and incredible staff at George's helped make our detour and delay fantastic! I will definitely be traveling back again soon from Newmarket, NH because it's totally worth the drive! PS: Special thanks to the awesome waitress who helped us try to put air in the tire and let the owners know about our situation while we were waiting for AAA, it's good people like you who make all the difference! Thank you so much!!

I have been here a few times before and the food is always pretty good. The kitchen was backed up and while wait times are reasonable to get seated it can take a while for the food to come out. It is a well known place in the area and definitely worth it!

Best lobster dinner I’ve had in awhile! I ended up getting two of them! My wife loved her haddock meal. She said it was full of flavor and filling. We will be back!

We vacation in NH and we drive by George's about half a dozen times during the week. I finally got a chance to visit and WOW! Absolutely delicious, legit New England fare.

My Nana and grandfather Would Frequent this restaurant often it was their favorite place to get a quality bite to eat, they were residents of holderness from 1980 onward. It was the 1st place as a very small child. I had my first real taste of good seafood. Judging by the reviews and what I can find. It looks like georges went out of business last year. There are so many sights sounds smells and memories. I have from this place and it breaks my heart to see it go. I remember the fish tank with those gigantic fish in them when I was a kid. I remember being convinced they were watching me as I ate l o l. The food was always good when we Went and it makes me sad that this place has gone the way of so many local staples not just in the town of Plymouth. But in the world really they get bought out by new ownership and then they get ran into the ground. So this review is for the good times. Thank you for being such a huge part of my culinary development. There wasn't a better chowdah in the pemi Valley...I'll miss you.

Visited recently. The food is amazing. The staff are all super polite. Great positive atmosphere. We asked our server, Desiree, for some suggestions as it was our first time visiting and she definitely did not steer us in the wrong direction! Not only was she super helpful, she was amazing! The place was packed and she didn’t miss a beat! We will be back when we come to the area again and we will be asking for her by name! Strongly recommend George’s if you want great seafood, amazing staff and an all around feeling of home!

So far the food is excellent. Working on my clam chowder right now. I get it everywhere I go just to test the variations. The Shrimp and Chicken Scampi was outstanding. Took most of it home because the lunch menu also included desert. Ice cream Sunday. WOW
