Finally visited this little joint today to try out their breakfast that is served all day.
I got their Garden Benedict on sourdough with spinach, onion, and tomatoes topped with three perfectly poached eggs and a side of divine hollandaise sauce along with fruit. So good!
Stopped for dinner, family of 5. Their portion sizes were huge, fast and friendly service. Our waitress was amazing and attentive. We all got a dinner, an appetizer, ended the night with milkshakes and ice cream š¦ spent $76. Which for us was a great deal. All the workers were sweet to our kiddos and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend. This was our first visit as we aren't locals. So if you're in Plymouth give em a try.
If this were anywhere else, add 50% to your bill. 2nd time passing thru Plymouth and stopping in, and it exceeded our original experience. The coconut shrimp I would put up against anything in the Keys. The ribeye was excellent and was the pollock. The batter was light and amazing. If you are passing through (or if you are a local and havenāt stopped in) it is your loss.
I had the Texas Burger with an order of french fries and an order of onion rings with a bowl of taco soup. I could eat that taco soup every single day and not get tired of it. It is good. The service is great. Always very kind.
We visit at least once a month for breakfast, plenty of staff which says alot these days. Good food nice portions, blueberry pancakes were awesome and you can even get mimosas.
Personally I feel like this is the best diner in town. The other breakfast joints just slop everything on the plate, this place actually cares what it looks and tastes like. Had lunch there for the first time and I was really impressed. Great family setting. Will eat there many more times.
My Sister and I went into Castaways Friday June 10th 2022 for lunch to celebrate My Birthday. WOW! What AMAZING STAFF!! My Server Hannah was AWESOME, she has a great personality, smiled every time she came to any of her tables. Hannah joked with myself and my sister, we even got the busboy to dance for me LOL WE had a BLAST! Hannah went and gathered the staff and they all came out with a delicious red velvet cupcake with a candle and they sang Happy Birthday to Me! I had a GREAT time and I asked Hannah if she would take a pic with me and she did. I worked as a server for over 20 years and I can not even begin to tell you how much of an impact Hannah's service means to ME! We need more servers like Hannah. THANK YOU HANNAH and Castaways for making my first visit and MY birthday AWESOME! I wish I could post the pics of the cupcake and myself and Hannah. HANNAH YOU ROCK!!!!
Delicious home cooked food! As a truck driver it is refreshing to have homemade meals and friendly service instead of fast food, definitely stop here if you're a truck driver in the area.
